Great experience with buying our new car from Alex at Sandown Newbury. Alex was helpful and patient as we were between the Omoda 5 and the Chery Tigga 4. We took both cars out for a test drive and decided upon the Omoda 5, only due to boot space.
The car arrived on time and was ready to collect the date we requested.
The car is excellent. I travel to Southampton for work and have got 58.7mph, am really pleased as my old car was 2 years old and I was getting this mileage. I didn't expect to get a good mph for a while.
Only downside really is app is not ready for the hybrid but have been assured it is in process.
Everyone at Sandown Newbury are really friendly and helpful.
We are really pleased with the car.

We recently purchased our new car through Adam at Sandown Newbury and had a really great experience from start to finish.
We had previously dealt with another dealership where the service and communication weren’t great, so it was a huge relief to work with Adam. He was always responsive, helpful and easy to deal with, and any questions we had were answered quickly and clearly.
We also found all the staff at the Newbury dealership to be really friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.
The process felt smooth throughout, everything was explained clearly, and we felt confident in the deal from start to finish.
We’re really pleased with the car and the overall experience, and would definitely recommend Adam and the team at Sandown Newbury and we look forward to continuing to deal with the team going forward.
Thank you!

Bought a JAECOO 7 what a car👍The team were very knowledgeable and could not do enough to make the handover and purchase a real experience for us. Well done Sandown can’t recommend you highly enough.

I would strongly advise anyone to avoid Sandown Dealership in Newbury based on my experience purchasing a brand new Jaecoo 7 plug-in hybrid.
From the moment I arrived to collect the vehicle, the experience was unacceptable. There were people sitting inside the car at handover, which is completely unprofessional for a new vehicle collection.
More concerning, the car itself was faulty from day one. Issues included:
• Non-functioning radio system
• Missing hardware for door and seat rails
• Driver lane assist failure warnings when switching off the vehicle
• Mileage not recording by day two
• Ambient lighting not working
• Phone connectivity not functioning
• No locking wheel nuts provided
This is not what anyone should expect from a brand new “luxury” vehicle.
Due to the number and severity of faults, I formally rejected the car within days. The vehicle has been back with the dealership since day four, and over a week later I am still without a car and without a resolution.
I have now escalated this matter through Jaecoo customer services and Creation Finance under my legal rights, as the vehicle clearly breaches the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
The lack of urgency, poor communication, and failure to resolve such serious issues is extremely disappointing.
I would urge others to think very carefully before purchasing from this dealership.
