I have been bringing my cars to Sandyford Tyre Centre for years, but today was the last time.
Having paid an expensive but not outrageous €70 to balance and fit 4 tyres a little over a year ago, I expected something in the ballpark this time, October 2025.
€200 to fit 4x 20” tyres that I provided myself! I was there less than half an hour, there were no complications, I don’t even have wheel locknuts fitted.
I queried the ludicrous price and the polite girl in the office came back confirming they were charging based on tyre size and cost. Cost? I brought them with me!
Had to pay it, but I won’t be back so they’ve lost a customer forever. I’m
