Could have done better in the first place
The showroom experience was excellent. This review relates to my interaction with the customer service department after the bathroom had been delivered, when it was discovered that there was a part missing from the toilet cistern. Having made initial contact with customer service and identifying the relevant part for them, I was informed that they had entered into correspondence with the manufacturer of the cistern. My priority was to get the missing part replaced so I could start using the toilet. My expectation was that the part would be ordered and supplied as a high priority and that any discussion between Sanidirect and the manufacturer, about which of them was going to pay for it was not my problem or concern. I called the customer service department and was brushed off with references to company policy and contractual terms and conditions. I was refused access to a supervisor. The only way to get the missing part expeditiously was to pay for it myself. I was advised to flush the toilet with a bucket of water while the issue was being addressed. When you've paid thousands of euros for a bathroom the inability to be able to use it due to company policy regarding a missing part is wholly unacceptable.
Update - Having posted this review I was contacted by the Customer Service supervisor and the issue was addressed and resolved to my complete satisfaction. Hence I have changed this from a 1 star review to a 3 star review to reflect the effort undertaken to recover the situation.

Look for somewhere that has a return policy
We were fitting out a bathroom - spent €6,000+ with sanidirect. There was a changes as we were converting a room into a bathroom on the shower. Today we needed to swop a 90x90 shower cabinet for a 100x100 but they wont do it, they would have got more money. So suggest you go to Sanitairwinkel who have a 5 days return policy as standard. Up to that point have been satiusfied with the service. But its the last little bit that matters.

Unfortunately, I cannot inform you other than that we maintain our position. We exchanged the cabin for you on April 12 in the correct size and fitting to the shower tray. We therefore also see no reason to deliver the cabin again in a different pre-size because it will not fit on the shower tray.
