What a service. Second to none. Cannot fault the service received from Sanitas from customer service particularly Diana Bivol and Ann Windsor. Both have been incredibly helpful, supportive, knowledgable and show excellent customer service skills. They always reply promptly and assist quickly. Sanitas has and continues to provide a comprehensive service at competitive price range with a wide range of clinicians available across all fields. The app is constantly being reviewed and updated to offer more accessible services and my husband and I highly recommend this provider to all who require expat health insurance. We have been with Sanitas coming up to 3 years and wouldn't use another provider!

I contacted the company and requested a quote.

I was conducting research for both myself and a business client that was considering using Santias Expat for their workforce.

We had some concerns that this company didn't take data protection seriously. This unfortunately turned out to be true.

They request a lot of sensitive medical data over "Jotform" which is based in the US. As a result data is being transferred outside the EU which is a GPDR breach.

Non-clinical staff also gain access medical data and their data protection policy is empty.

I also some other simple data protection questions. Rather than discover the answer, or investigate to discover the answer the "director" of Santias Expat decided to retaliate.

We've decided to enforce our values and take action against retaliation.
This aligned with our worries.

Sanitas does not cover for basic fertility tests like AMH. DKV Seguros is much better- they cover for everything (including AMH) 100%. I recommend going with DKV instead, coverage is much better.

What made the experience great was the customer service by Iona. She was very patient and helpful.

Ann & Diana were brilliant in helping & supporting me & the service and speed in making decisions when I needed medical care was excellent. I would recommend Sanitas to anyone looking for world clsss health insurance

I moved to Spain as a US citizen and needed health insurance for residency. The quoting process was fast and easy. The phone app is kind of difficult to set up, but works great once it's running. Everything in the phone app is in English and intuitive. I made mistakes with my residency paperwork and kept having to get new forms from Sanitis. My broker Diana Bivol was exceptional with communication and assistance. So much that I made this review.

I had to do some changes to my policy and Ann Windsor was so helpful, I was back and forth but she helped me every step of the way. Thank you Ann for your patience.

Living on the Costa del Sol for almost six years, the one thing I've never had to be concerned with --even during Covid-- is health care. Sanitas has been present for every health challenge, most of which, thankfully, have been minor.
I highly recommend Sanitas.

As someone who is extremely proactive about my my health, I tend to have many medical situations arise. Navigating new doctors in a new place can be very stressful and often futile at times. In my entire life of having health insurance, I've never received this level of personal attention and care before. Honestly, it's unequaled. Diana Bivol and Ann Windsor are exceptional, attentive, caring, invested and more. I could not be more grateful.
