Plastic lids disappoint…

I have been drinking 500ml sparkling sanpellegrino for 10 + years, recently tge change of lid has made the experience extremely disappointing, the lid remains connected, making drinking impossible or when detached pieces of plastic poke into my face.
I am now looking for an alternate product

although good it was left with no fizz…

although good it was left with no fizz when it came to my local Tesco and the lid was impossible to open without a knife making it impossible to drink on the go, what was supposed to be a lovely walk on the beach with my girlfriend quickly turned into dread as me and my girlfriend realized that our leisurely stroll turned into torture after realizing that there was no supermarket in walking distance truly disappointing, don't you guys have a quality control? this is truly upsetting and i wont be buying again.

Product Issues

ALL Water in glass bottles:
- ALL bottles in ALL batches are affected
San Pellegrino Sparkling Natural Mineral Water
- 750ml bottles
- 250ml bottles
- both sizes are available in English supermarkets
- it is necessary for ALL customers to thoroughly examine and check ALL bottles and discard ALL the affected bottles !!!

Dear San Pellegrino

I hope you can cure ALL these issue…

Why don’t you have any Quality Control ?!

Do you consume the products that you manufacture ?!

Why haven’t you noticed ALL these issues ?!

Why haven’t you corrected ALL these issues ?!

Why are you still selling faulty products ?!

Why don’t you care ?!

Why don’t you care about your customers ?!

Your water is wonderful !!!

BUT

Your Bottles and Caps and Labels are ALL very bad

The Aluminium caps ( on the glass bottles )
- are badly designed and badly manufactured
- the caps and their threads are malformed
- the caps are dented
- the plastic coating on the insides of the caps, is not thick enough and not strong enough
- when twisting the caps to remove the caps from the glass bottles, the plastic coating on threads on the insides of the caps is broken, and the aluminium is scraped off on to the glass thread of the bottles, and into the water in the bottle
- Aluminium is known to accumulate in the human brain, and this causes Alzheimer’s disease !!!

The glass bottles
- are badly designed and manufactured
- the threads on the glass bottles are very rough
- when pouring the water out of the glass bottles, the water dribbles back along the glass thread and the paper label around the neck of the bottles, and into the glass that you drink the water from, all this pollutes the water

The paper labels on the glass bottles
- are bad quality
- the colour comes off on your hands and fingers
- the paper accumulates and holds all the toxic chemicals and smells from the supermarkets
