So disappointed the khaki rain mac was out of stock so I messaged the S&D Facebook page. A couple of days later I got an fb message saying it was back in stock, I bought it immediately and it was delivered the very next day. The Mac is GORGEOUS.

Outstanding customer service! I ordered a dress which unfortunately came with a broken button hole elastic. I contacted customer service, and had a same day reply. I sent an image of the issue and they immediately sent me a link to arrange a return with costs covered. Then once I’d sent a photo of the proof of postage, they sent out a replacement the same day (without waiting for the return to be received), and the replacement dress arrived the next morning! The staff were lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again.

Ordered a lovely jumper - the sleeves were so ridiculously wide I could have fit my legs in them! Returned but cost me £8 to try it on (£3.95 delivery and then same to return) so be warned to be sure you like the item or it can be very expensive. Paid returns was not overly obvious on the website or would have not ordered. Took a long time to receive refund.

Had a slight issue with a t-shirt I bought and the customer service team dealt with it and within 48 hours had my new item in the post.

I just LOVE these clothes. Beautiful fabrics and patterns, they lie really nicely and make you feel good about yourself. .... JUST as important POCKETS.... lovely dress pockets.

Staff in the Marlow shop are glorious, super helpful and super friendly. Can't do enough for you.

Also had a customer service thing today and again, they couldn't do enough to help me. All sorted, all smiles.

Chloe provided excellent service, sent back the incorrect item free of charge and then provided me with another label free of charge to return the correct item. Beyond my expectations - thank you

While I love the shape of the old style maxi dresses and have several, I have had issues with the seams. Several dresses have come apart at the seams which is not something one would expect from this brand and at this price. I am sorry to.give a 3 star review...the dresses are lovely and suit my 5ft 8 frame but I can't justify the expense for something that comes apart. I know that many people have not had this issue ...I just wish I had been one of them.

I had an issue with a pair of joggers which were faulty. I did not have my receipt . But the comms with customer service (Amy) was positive, helpful and generous. My joggers were replaced as she worked hard to find my order when it would have been easy not to bother. This personalised service says a lot about a company and I am grateful for the great experience and care I was given.

Was once a huge fan of Scamp and Dude and have been buying from them for many years, right back to their first ever Navy sweatshirt. There has been a huge focus on their viscose dresses and the patterns are pretty but their prices have grown extortionate for a basic design crepe fabric dress (which shrinks and creases badly). The Facebook group is an abundance of ladies buying all the launches (and then swiftly selling on). Found myself falling out of love for the brand and the constant push for overspending. My final moment came when the pockets fell off a very expensive dressing gown, for which I was offered 15% refund. Returns for overseas are another problem and they’ve finally introduced benefits for UK customers but have forgotten about the rest of us. I’ve already spent huge shipping fees over the years so it’s disappointing to be disregarded by what is now a huge company (with multiple physical stores). I’ve been saving my money to spend at Sugarhill which have very similar designs but better quality, more affordable and free shipping/returns to EU customers.

I love all Scamp & Dude designs & styles but I am so sick of the poor quality material & stitching! The 3rd time mending the same skirt and their clothes are not cheap to buy… just cheaply made.

I really wanted to rave about this company, the ethos, the environment awareness, the charity work etc, has lovely prints, nice style clothes. But I can’t give it any more than 3 stars due to the quality. I purchased 5 items for my holiday, 2 dresses, 2 skirts and a scarf to use as a sarong. Out of those 5 items 3 have faults, all only worn and washed once. Faults varying from shrinkage, seams coming undone in not high pull places, threads breaking, the thread used is of extremely poor quality, one dress takes forever to dry and one dress has a print error with a massive blob of dye on the reverse of fabric, only noticed with I went to ironed out creases on holiday (this dress hasn’t been washed yet and it’s probably going to run all over the dress when I do). So overall the company has some good positives but when it comes to the clothes there’s poor quality control and inferior materials to make them. For the high price you expect a lot better quality. I will be contacting customer services regarding the issues once the last dress has been washed. It’s a shame as the clothes are actually quite nice just massively let down by the quality.
Also the 5 star trust pilot reviews aren’t genuine reviews and have come from their social media group.
UPDATE: I have been in talks with customer services and once I’d proved that the faults were manufacturing faults and not user error, I have been issued with two replacements and one refund.
Would I buy from them again? Probably not but maybe if something I really liked was in the sale but a decent price.

I’m not one for leaving reviews unless it’s because it is an outstanding or poor review, in this case the latter.

This review will be an odd one, because I’m a bloke, why would a man be leaving a review you ask? Well my wife loves to buy clothes, so I get to see lots of dresses by different suppliers. I also iron some of these dresses, what with me being ex forces I’m a dab hand with the iron. The one thing I’ve noticed with Scamp & Dude clothing is the quality of the material, it’s poor!

The quality control is also bad, as I’ve had to help my wife with attaching pictures to emails when it came to returning the clothes she ordered due to seams that are bad or already came apart, holes in the fabric etc.

Excellent service.
I ordered a jumper which arrived quickly and I loved it. After washing there was a slight imperfection.
I contacted them and their response was instant, they sorted everything out for me. A replacement was sent out quickly and they paid for returning the original one.

Discount code didn’t work. Emailed and they responded super fast and rectified. Great customer service and love their clothing.

Always the best customer service should you find yourself with any type of query! - like stupidly ordering an item to your old address! 🫣

Great small business with quality clothing. Excellent service from website to delivery. Clothes all fit and wash really well.

After being an avid Duder for years I have decided to say goodbye to this brand. I just can’t justify purchasing more items when I have had the seams disintegrate on 2 dresses, 2 skirts and a pair of jeans. When I tried to post a query about how to prevent the seams coming apart on the Facebook page my post was blocked and I was referred to customer services. It was disheartening as I wasn’t complaining, merely seeking advice. I live in Australia so paying for a return is just not worth it. Such a shame, as this brand brought me a lot of joy at first.

Although I'm a little dubious about the reviews on the site. I've posted one before about a faulty item giving it a 3 star and yet this review never made it to the items page for others to see. I was contacted by customer service to sort the issue out which has been resolved but why not post the honest reviews?
Do you only post positive ones? It's very odd and off-putting to know what others actually think unless it's a glowing review.
I will still buy from S&D but a little less now due to this and the £5 postage and returns fee.
