It was 1981, Margaret Thatcher has been in power for two excruciatingly long years already, Charles and Diana have just announced their engagement, Bucks Fizz have won the Eurovision Song contest and Scribbler has just been born! But unlike Thatcher’s reign, Charles and Diana’s marriage and the UK’s run in Eurovision, Scribbler thrived into what can only be described as a ‘well good shop’ (thanks @cheeselover92) and now has stores across the country and a brand spanking new website. Whether you’re looking for something outrageously rude (The Daily Mail hate us!), ridiculously funny, or sickeningly sweet, we've got you covered. We work with the quirkiest, most outlandish and anarchic range of designers to bring the best and …ahem, boldest products to you. Get ready to get it wrong... Scribbler level wrong.

Great customer services - they could not be more helpful.
And great cards, I can always find something offbeat, funny and uplifting here.
Always trustworthy place to order cards from online, selected standard delivery and was here in less than a day! Will always use scribbler, great selection of cards and always arrives quick and in perfect condition. Highly recommend!
The funniest cards and gifts ever. I've ordered a birthday card for my brother, and he was literally crying. Im happy with the delivery, it didn't take more than 3 days to get the card. Due to covid19, I was expecting a delay, but no, the card came right on time. Thank you scribbler for making my brother laugh so hard. 😂❤️
Really funny unique cards and fast delivery time. Will use again.
Good selection of cards, I always manage to find something that has a personal touch. As with any online card company, I would order well in advance. I hadn't received an order a week after placing it and so got in touch with customer services who were extremely helpful and resent my order which arrived a day or so later.
Majority of Christmas cards on Prince Street shop (Edinburgh UK) full F words, notebook with F word, use of disgraceful language and any kids who can read can see these words. These cards should be put either ot top or in the back of the shop on top shelf. Exple: Merry F...ING Christmas to you or Agenda with "F...CK January as sober month, F..CK February with F...ing pancakes...". If you sell these products please be aware not to put them in vision of young children. You are helping the youth using mouthful language. I have sent a letter to the HQ already to mention it.
I really rate the shop, i think their cards are awesome, and its my first stop when i need an (insulting) card. But i recently used the website to order two cards online, and opted for large ones at about £13 for both. The quality of them was shocking. Granted, they came next day, which i didn't expect, but i may as well have just printed them off at home on bag standard paper and ink.
Sent my friend a birthday card hoping it would arrive a day or two later. He only just received it 17 days later. Don’t use if you need something delivered within a month it seems
Order number is anyone wants it 124353
Very poor website. The message I'd typed into my card could not be reviewed - when I received my card it was blank.
Scribbler's customer service is appalling and they constantly try and shift the blame onto you instead of taking responsibility for their rubbish service. I ordered two birthday cards for a friend and cousin last year (August 2017). One was being posted directly to my cousin, the other one was being delivered to me. The cards were never sent and so I had to make my apologies to both friend and cousin. I was finally refunded the money into my Pre-Pay account in September 2017, having spent an inordinate amount of time exchanging emails with 'Alicia' to resolve the issue. This year - yes, THIS YEAR ie 2018 - I received an automated email from them confirming dispatch of the exact same order which I'd cancelled in 2017. So I wrote again to customer services to find out why they'd sent the cards and told them I was going to close my account as a result. My cousin is in fact 50 this year so I had already sent her a milestone card from another (better) online company. Alicia (yes, she's still there!) came back with a 'screen grab' showing that I'd set the date of dispatch to August 2018 (which I hadn't) and told me that they'd 'delete' my account (most helpful)! As you can imagine, I was livid - I forwarded our 2017 email exchange where Alicia had confirmed that she'd cancelled the order and refunded my money. There was no mention of me setting a date a year in advance to resend the cards. I also told them that I did NOT ask them to 'delete' my account and that I would close it down myself once I'd used up my pre-pay balance. They are utterly ridiculous and I will not be using them again - they cannot be trusted and are totally unreliable.
I usually order from the well known online personalised sites but thought I would give the smaller company my business as I order many cards during the year. What a mistake that was! Absolutely appalling. The card never arrived. I have sent 3 emails - first chasing up the late delivery then to cancel the order and ask for a refund. I wrote again requesting a refund advising them I was giving them the opportunity to resolve this prior to giving a bad review online. They never bothered to acknowledge any of my emails and have kept my money - so now I have to waste my time chasing them. What was really upsetting was the card was for a disabled friend in a different city - and he never gets many cards. So thanks to Scribbler I had to rush to buy another card and then pay guaranteed next day delivery at £6.50 to ensure the card would arrive in time. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY this is diabolical behaviour.
I should have read the reviews here first.
I ordered cards for Valentine's Day (tomorrow) 5 days ago with 1st class next day delivery, and I still have not received them. Looks like I need to go out and find a replacement.
As a follow up - I never received the cards, and I see that I am not alone with this problem. I did get a refund, but not a good experience.
Nice range of cards but ordered a birthday card in the afternoon of the 6th Feb expecting(website promise) it to be detached on 7th latest, they despatched on the 8th with no notification of the delay.
Back to Moonpig for me.
Ordered cards, confirmation of delivery, but never delivered. Have written emails but unfortunately the company cannot be bothered to reply. Now having to chase for my money back. What a shame, obviously John & Jennifer Procter are not as focused on the customer services as they were in the past, let us hope that their investment in a new web platform pays off, but they do not completely lose sight of their customer and what counts, which is delivering the product.
Shame - good product, good idea, but clearly customer service is no longer a priority.
The cards are not delivered in hard back envelopes.. whats the point in personalising a card if it turns up all creased before you send it..
1st class delivery = 5 working days. Condescending attitude from customer service team. Poor service all round.
great, genuinely original and funny cards That are very easy to customise too. Smooth checkout process and reliable delivery. Have you had to use customer service but I'm very happy. Never go anywhere else
Website not great - cards take ages to get to the destination. Can only imagine it's due to slow progressing as other companies like moon pig seem to get there much quicker - customer service also poor when mentioned
I've ordered a few cards now from this company and the recipients have all seemed pleased with them. I can't attest to their quality however as I've never seen one! They have a good selection and they have all arrived in time.
I ordered a personalised card for my best friend's wedding. On the site, the image showed the card cover to be white and lacy, with a pale blue background. Although I received the card quickly and neatly packaged, the card itself looked green in colour and the 'lacy' bit wasn't separate from the blue background (which was a much darker blue) as the advertising image suggested. The overall appearance looks cheap, especially because the advert for Scribbler on the back of the card is so large. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Scribbler over a more reliable high-street card shop purely for the print quality. What makes this worse is that, on their website, they state that they only accept returns for faulty goods, so I cannot even return the card and get my money back.
Great for the delivery time/packaging, terrible for the product itself.
