Great service. Delivered well before delivery date and it was a nice surprise.

I had updates on the day of the delivery until the sofa was delivered.
The two guys that delivered my sofa respected my property and were very polite.

Appalling service. SCS are an absolute joke.
The ladies who took my order in the store were great. Told them that I wanted the delivery pre-Christmas and was told it would be delivered in the first week of December. They said it may be earlier, but I advised them I was on holiday for the middle two weeks of November.
The start of November arrives, and someone contacts me giving me a delivery date of when I was on holiday. I told them I couldn't accept delivery until the first week of December, as I had agreed when placing the order. I was told this was not possible, so they got the lady from the store who took my order to call me. In a recorded phone call, she said she could remember me placing the order clearly, and that I had not mentioned any holidays. Who is more likely to be right here - the person that takes various orders each day, or the person that has only placed one order? I was left with no choice but to agree for them to charge me for storage of the chair until I could take delivery on 1st December.
On 27th November, I received an email asking if I could take delivery of the chair on 8th December, to which I said no, as I had already agreed delivery for 1st December. They replied saying they had no delivery scheduled for me for that date and asked who I'd spoken to. I could not remember and told them that.
I received no further reply from SCS. I waited at home all day for delivery on 1st December, but nothing arrived. I emailed on 2nd December (today) asking for delivery before 5pm, but that hasn't happened either. I am unable to get any reply to my emails and have no idea when the chair is going to be delivered, if at all. Perhaps they're ignoring me in an attempt to increase the storage charges they plan on charging me?
I should also note that they were quick enough to take payment of the chair, and that I will be requesting a chargeback through my bank account.
Please, whatever you do, avoid them at all costs.

The sofa bed we bought was delivered about a week earlier than we expected, despite it being a busy period. Communication in the store with the staff, as well as regarding the planned delivery, was excellent. We even received a phone call 20 minutes before delivery in addition to the emails and SMS messages with the expected time slots. The delivery team was very efficient, left all the rubbish outside the house despite the freezing cold, and assembled everything in minutes. Great service!

Great communication before and on the day of delivery - texts, emails, phonecall, keeping me up to date. Great tracking so I could see where the drivers were on a map and an approximate delivery time, which was regularly updated. Delivery men polite and respectful of my property. Set up sofa and chair and tested recliners before they left. Took all packaging off in the van, which meant I had no rubbish to dispose of. Very pleased with delivery process

We had a fantastic experience with Jamielee at the Milton Keynes branch. She was incredibly helpful in assisting us with choosing a sofa in accordance with our likes and dislikes. We bought a great sofa at a great price - really happy and really grateful to Jamielee. She’s a (sofa) wizard, Harry!

Just had delivery of our new sofas. The service overall was great! I was sent a text and email giving a rough time window for delivery and then on the morning, a more accurate time with a link so I could track the driver's progress. I was then called by the driver when he was an hour away.
I can't speak highly enough of Craig and Martel. They came in and assessed how they would get them in; the sofas were big! They then lifted them in with no problem and speedily put them in place and attached the feet. They were pleasant but most of all, were respectful of our new home – taking great care not to damage anything! They are a credit to ScS!

The crew arrived nice and early and where showed where the new corner settee was to go and also the route to the back of the house. Nothing was too much trouble for them and their expertise got the job done in a very timely and professional manner.

Martin at the Milton Keynes branch was fantastic from start to finish. He wasn’t pushy like most sales people are cause they are all commission based. I knew what I wanted and he showed me a sofa but I knew it wasn’t the right one. Had a play about with the sofa but was still not adamant it was the right one. I looked round the store and I found the one I was looking at on the website. Martin was fantastic showed us all the colours available. We choose the colour and he went through the finance. Expected delivery early next year. An amazing experience that i would definitely be recommending friends and family to. Thank you

Avoid at all costs! & do not believe the instore versions. These are not representative of goods received! Daylight Robbery. The most uncomfortable sofa i have ever owned!

Update …. 25/10/25

I can feel the frame under the cushions & one of several customers have the same issue! My contract is with scs not the manufacturers. The consumer rights Act 2015 makes it an implied term that goods be as described, fit for purpose & of satisfactory quality. You ‘SCS’ are therefore in breach of contract. I will therefore pursue a section 75! Disgraceful company.
