Had my Darcie installed last week and wanted to wait until we had moved all our stuff in before I reviewed. The whole purchase, delivery and installation was flawless but I wanted to see for myself having used it over a week if it was, insulated, well built and as good as promised. I have to say I am completely and utterly over the moon with it. It’s amazing and completely transformed our garden space and allowed us the extra room we needed. We have half as a nice storage area and the other half is an open plan entertaining area that flows out to the decking. It’s truly amazing… as soon as it stops raining I’ll be adding pictures too… thank you guys!! Wonderful all round

The best! I had a fantastic experience working with SDPH. I have a wonderful garden room. It was done on time and without mess. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough!!!

They don't care about warranty issues. I have reported separation of the cladding on my £20k garden room last summer first and a lot of times sent them update about the deterioration on it. At first only the internal and then the external cladding came separate multiple places.
Noone has come to check what's going on, let alone fix the issues, and my 1 year old structure looks like it was built 10 years ago.
My initial review of the company was positive but they only care about you before you buy from them.

Update: After several months of emailing and sending photos, they finally rectified the cladding and the painting. Now the garden room looks as great as it is supposed to, so I am upping my rating from 1* to 3*.
I wish I didn't have to spend so much effort getting them to do that, because they can do a lovely job, once they decide to do so.

Had my garden room installed in December and was complete within the day. Whole experience took around 4 week and everyone was really responsive, install team were great as well.

Please dont go near sdph garden.Their £900 non refundable deposit is a joke.They will do a virtual survey of your neighbours not yours and you have no claim over it.Would never recommend sdph .There are much better people in the market.Poor experience !I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THEM ZERO STARS if there was one

After lots of deliberation we went with Sdph and we are so happy we did - they were communicative, friendly, incredible value for money and my garden room is perfect. The whole team is great - thanks Jamie and Gabs!

We've had our room since 2020 and couldn't be happier with it. We went for the standard outside finish rather than cedar and it has aged really well. The service from SdPh Garden Rooms has been outstanding, even outside the 12 month warranty. One of our doors started catching last summer but they sent simple instructions on how to adjust and we've had no problems since.

I’ve had 2 rooms now installed by SdPh (one in 2020 and another last month) for me and my business colleague and they are brilliant. Gabrio and the team made everything as smooth and seamless as possible on both occasions. Great little company and would recommend.

My room was built in September 2021 and initially I was very pleased with the result and product. Approximately 12 months later, the outside of the room has begun falling apart due to the wood warping, in some places significant enough to pop out the wood staples and expose in inner part of the wall.

I raised this with sdph and after a month waiting following multiple chases and response of holding emails, I was told it was out of warranty and I would have to pay over £3,000 to have them come out and repair it.

I was told these rooms were meant to last 30 years, it's barely made it to 1 and I'm worried it won't be around for much longer.

My suggestion would be to go elsewhere, somewhere where aftercare is considered important with longer warranty. The short warranty makes me assume they don't think the rooms will last, despite the advertisement.

I had been a little concerned that I might have made a bad decision after seeing some of the recent reviews on Trustpilot but I needn't have been.

The company have been responsive, amenable to changes, helpful and were even able to bring the installation date unexpectedly forward. The installation team got it done in a day (though it was only a small room), cleared up after themselves and left some surplus free kindling in our firepit :-)

Day 1 the room itself is great so far, even the cat loves it. Great use of some 'dead' space behind our garage.

From start to finish I cannot find fault with this company, they were excellent all the way through even when I changed my mind numerous times Lewis was very patient and had lots of great ideas, the guys Gabrio sent were great they worked so hard from the minute they arrive and nothing was too much trouble for them I’m so happy with my new garden room

The whole process has been impressive from the design stage where detailed drawings are produced with their many requested alterations to the on scheduled delivery to the final build. The finished product is as per the drawings and looks even better in the flesh.
One misdescription on their brochure is it saying the shed can be built in one day. The fitter said "no way" - the minimum period of an average build is 3 days.
That apart it has been wonderful experience and very pleasing from start to finish and a great product at the end.

I can’t fault anything. Pre sales and project management was great and kept us informed of progress throughout. We live on a sloped property and thought this may be an issue but the friendly installers took it in their stride. The build itself is solid and appears good quality and has been a great addition to the house. Special thanks to Gabrio for managing the project.

Jamie and the team were unbelievable throughout, nothing was too much trouble and I am in love with my new room. Thank You for everything.

On 11th March 2022 I ordered a 'Lakeside 4m x 2.5m Garden Room' to be used as a pool house and to be divided into two sections, one to be used as a plant room and the other as a changing room at a total price of £13,133.64. I carried out a company search on SdPh Garden Rooms Ltd before placing the order. Although it was a young company only incorporated on 20/11/2020, on the day I placed the order it had a low-risk score of 58/100 and a recommended credit limit of £20,000 and contract limit of £30,000, which seemed satisfactory. I was unhappy about their payment terms (£900 'deposit' upon order for them to carry out 'a virtual site survey and complete technical
working drawings' for sign-off before manufacture, followed by 50% of the balance to begin manufacture and a further 50% prior to delivery to site) which meant that I would pay 100% of the cost before delivery and before I'd even seen the finished product. As however delivery was to be by the end of April, I overrode my usual caution to such payment terms as this timescale fitted in with the pool contractor's programme and the other suppliers I had quotes from could not meet the same timescale.
Ultimately delivery was on 12th May after two failed advised delivery dates (w/c 25th April and w/c 2nd May). This resulted in the pool contractor having to stop work for two weeks.
Initially quality of the delivered product was poor but after sending photos a return visit on 26th May rectified most of the deficiencies.
My overriding emotion once the whole process was complete was of relief and in particular relief that I had not been scammed having been out-of-pocket for the full amount from 3rd May onwards when the the final payment was demanded on the pretext of delivery on 5th May only to be told after making the payment that delivery was delayed yet again. Whilst the end product is now satisfactory I cannot say that the quality is by any standards better than that. The stress, worry and anxiety caused by the repeated delays whilst having parted with so much money would have been avoidable with a little more planning and an honest assessment of their abilities to deliver to a required timeframe. Ultimately, I find I cannot recommend this company unless they change their payment terms whereby the second 50% is payable on delivery of an end product to a satisfactory quality.

So glad I went with SDPH, had a small office installed as I now work from home and I'm so happy with it. From start to finish staff were friendly and helpful and it's exactly what I wanted. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting something similar!
