Do NOT shop at Sears Marketplace online! Ever, for anything!

They don't deserve any stars. I received an order where the listing advertised a case of four 4-packs but I received one individual 4-pack and it was destroyed in shipping. But the WORST part is trying to figure out how to reach ANYONE to get any help. Even on their FAQ page, the number one most-asked question is "How do I contact Sears?" and even when you click there, the page has been removed!!! They literally make it impossible to reach them! So they can falsely advertise, steal your money, and then make it impossible to get a resolution. I don't care WHAT you are thinking of ordering from Sears -- DO NOT SHOP HERE! They are stealing money and ignoring requests for help, if you can even figure out how to reach anyone. Awful, awful, awful. I can't believe this is legal. It is impossible to leave a review on their site (clever, clever, Sears!) so I am posting here. LOL! What a joke! The site explains how you can log in and go to your order and click on a link that says "Tell Sears about a seller issue," but the link is not actually there in real life! It's hilarious! I can't stop laughing!

Long sorry short but I would rate way below a 1 if I could. Had appliance warranty which was a joke and ultimately got credit for a replacement appliance. It is now 5 months later and still no replacement product although order placed over 2 months ago. Now am having issues trying to get my credit back. Stay away as this has been nothing but an ongoing headache with no end in site. Ultimately I had to replace appliance on my own dollar and Sears will likely keep the credit I earned under the warranty.

Unappreciated 50 Year customer of Sears

I have been a customer of Sears, actually for 49 years. I have always used Kenmore products and every appliance I own including garage door openers, blowers, and mowers. I have continued the maintenance agreements for all of these years. I have never been more disappointed that I am now. I have a stove that is 37 years old. It has required little to no maintenance other than a new knob or two and maybe an element. My dishwasher is 21 years old and worked great until the panel went out and can't be replaced. I have had two dishwashers replaced, two refrigerators replaced, two washers and dryers replaced. It always is a process to get an appliance replaced but this one is unreal. Always under the old
agreement they replaced with another of equal value and now even still under the old agreement they only give $500 toward a new appliance. I had a delivery date of 8-19-24. I was here all day waiting. No call to say they did not receive the dw. Every call consists of multiple transfers only to be transferred again. I have yet to receive a call of a new delivery date. I spoke to someone in India most recently who could not give any answers as to when I might see a dishwasher. However, they didn't hesitate to charge my card for the difference in the $500 and actual price. So, I am supposed to pay for something not delivered? You can't find a contact number to get an answer. The customer service people can't speak English very well leaving me guessing as to what they are saying. Sears you have failed! My fifty years as a Sears customer means nothing to you. I have paid hundreds of dollars over the years for products that lasted a long time and service agreements (that were not used). So, Sears came out on top.

I would post a ZERO if they had it. Had two repair services scheduled for today. They no call no showed the first. And when I looked online for update on the second...they rescheduled it for a week from today. No call to even ask. They suck. I cancelled both. Going elsewhere. Horrible service or lack of

Failed to deliver. Appalling customer service!!

I ordered a dishwasher online about three weeks ago. I was informed that someone would call me to give a delivery date within 48 hours. They did not and I had to chase it up. The person on the call could hardly speak good English and appeared to not know what she was doing. I was given a firm date and was told someone would call me the evening before to confirm the time. No one did. In the end after much chasing up, I found out that there was a delay in delivery, and it would be about another two weeks before it was in the warehouse. So.....they were happy to waste my time and energy, not keep me informed and I had to do the chasing up. I was given a clear date for delivery and installation as well as a clear indication about what phone calls to expect, and in my view, the way I have been treated could be viewed as a breach of contract. I NO LONGER TRUST THIS COMPANY and would recommend that you go elsewhere. (UPDATE) I contacted them for a refund, and was PROMISED that I would get it within 5-10 business days! IT DID NOT ARRIVE several days after the 10-day limit.

Rip Off Bad Customer Service

Technician took 3 phone calls just chatting. I even asked him to call them back later. He continued talking. My mother was in another room with 3 dogs. Locked them up for the Technicians Safety. Also,
He basically said I was the cause of my problem. I have a Home Warranty and they picked Sears to service me. His Report to my Home Warranty was negligence. My claim was denied based off his opinion. I finally asked him to leave and take his phone calls somewhere else. Sears has great products but their Customer Service is terrible. This was not my first bad experience with Sears Repair Service
UPDATE: The technician told me my compressor was going bad. Sears could fixed the problem for $2000. I decided to get a second opinion. A certified company Emrald Coast Appliance came. He fixed the problem in 5 minutes. The water filter which I put in was in too tight. All he did was turn it some. Problem solved. I will never trust Sears to do anything. Not to mention the Poor service by their technicians. They should reimburse the cost of the bill ($130) from the new company I had to call. This was a Home Warranty case. Should have only have to pay the $65. Let’s see if that happens.
UPDATE: Sears response was to call the number below. I tried calling several times. There is no prompt for Customer Service so I keep getting disconnected. I tried using other prompts. No help there. All the representative did was file a complaint against the technician.
UPDATE. August 17 Still no response from
Sears

BEWARE Sears Home Protect warrany

There should be negative stars to rate this company.
Been without an oven since May '24, waiting on parts. After 5 phone calls, and my situation being "escalated" four of the 5 times I've spoken to someone, I'm still waiting on either parts or someone to have the authority to replace my ovens. Each time I had been assured I would hear from someone in 5-10 days or 3-5 days. One agent felt so bad he assured me I would hear from him and he wanted to compensate me for my inconvenience by sending me a $50 check (which I did receive). I've been told a number of times there is no supervisor to speak to until (August 9 '24) this most recent agent assured me (again) a supervisor would call me within 24 hours.
Don't even get me started on how hard and time consuming it is to actually talk to an agent. Their online scheduling process is a joke as well.
Look for a different warranty! Or just sock this 50 bucks a month in savings in case you need repair, it will save you so much FRUSTRATION.

Sears repair warrant deserves no stars…

Sears repair warrant deserves no stars as you cannot even leave a review without picking a star. They have not showed up to repair my refrigerator on two different appointments nor to even check it it has been out right at three weeks they text me ask me for information on it ordered parts that I have received a week ago and have scheduled two appointments which I have taken two days off from work to meet them and no show again today. No call to say anything just no show. They do not have a phone number you can call and speak with anyone just texts or email. I am still without a refrigerator and parts that have laid on top of it and no one to fix it or even a call to explain why or when they will be there. So wasted my money on this warranty. I will try to file a civil suit against then over my money and lies regarding the warranty. This has gone on since July 12, 2024.

I regret using sears dot com

I regret using sears dot com. It is a scam when you instantly put something in shipping status so that there cannot be a cancellation But don't ship for ten days or more and will not allow you to cancel item because they have instantly put it in shipping status. Well we can all play that game and cancel charges on our credit card and you can figure out how to get your junk back. Stay far away from this website.

I have had a Sears maintenance contract for more than 10 years. Just had my annual maintenance last week and now my freezer is not working. This is the first time in all those years I have made a service call today. And the first available appointment is two weeks!!!

Stay away from Sears warranty programs

I would never ever ever recommend this warranty company to anybody. They are the worst. I have been dealing with repair issues since June 6th. My fridge was declared unreliable twice July 2nd and again on July 7th after the 6th service call. Per my warranty it is supposed to be replaced. I have yet to be approved now being July 25th. I’ve had to purchase a used fridge just to keep my food cold. Poor customer service, poor follow thru. Just a horrible experience all around. Stay away from Sears appliances warranties.

Sears is not a business that cares about their customers

Sears is not a business who cares about their customers and does not care about your business. Obviously why Sears is thriving!
They didn’t have a dressing room. I live an hour and a half from the location I made the purchase.
Flat out terrible customer service from manager without a care in the world. Would not allow me to return product purchased, with all tags and receipt.
They don’t deserve customers with this kind of policy that doesn’t lean into supporting customers that bring revenue to the table. Sad.

Sears is a scammer!!!

I purchased Sears Home Warranty Plan to cover the repair of major appliances in my home. Other than the monthly $59 fee, I have to pay a $100 deductible for each repair. If the repair takes more than one visit, (such as when they need to order parts and come back to finish the repair) it is still just $100 deductible. In December last year, I scheduled for a repair. I was charged $100 immediately. The Sears technician came but need to order parts. So they came back in January to complete the repair. I should not be charged the $100 deductible again but they did charge me. I called Sears in March to ask for a refund. I was told they will mail me a refund check. But the refund check never arrived. In April, I called Sears again to follow up. I was then transferred from one department to another department for multiple times until I had to hang up because I needed to leave for an appointment. I tried another time subsequent to that and experience same thing. I got busy for a few months because I went on several trips. Today, July 16 I called Sears again. I was again transferred from department to department. After three transfer, I spoke to somebody in the benefit department. I told her the whole story the forth time, she told me that it's too late for her to do anything because it's been many months since the charge was made. I was furious. She transferred me to another person. I was told the same thing. I asked to talk to a manager. I was told this was the highest point of contact that I will be able to get. How infuriating!!! Sears is a scam. Don't every buy any service contract from them!!! They used to be good. But they probably sold out their repair service to somebody else. Now it's terrible. Sears, you are scammer!!!

I really want to give this company a…

I really want to give this company a better review and the hvac guy seem to be nice just a bit lazy and it is hurting me with the half ass work.
I was so sick of being hot that when he got the air to blow cold that is all I did for days was enjoy the AC. But when I went out back to spray the weeds I see the wires sticking thru our vented part of the AC unit and they are taped with electrical tape. THE ARE STICKING THRU THE VENTS ON THE OUTSIDE UNIT!!!!! I had to take a double take and I still don’t believe it.
Make sure you check everything before they leave because the same hvac guy called himself cleaning our inside unit coils and he didn’t even take the cover off and it was still dirty and looked like it had not been touched. That is why it quit again and he had to come back out. So 6 weeks to wait for this. I can’t get ahold of anyone because the emails are no-reply. So good luck.

I wish I could give this ZERO stars

I wish I could give this ZERO stars. I have an overhead microwave that hasn't been working properly. They scheduled the appointment in FEB 2024 and the repair guy couldn't make it so he asked what was wrong with it. He ordered the parts. He finally came the second time and he tells me it needs to be replaced. The Microwave was on back order so it was suppose to arrive May 24th, 2024. It did not arrive till June 24th, 2024. I cannot get anyone to schedule an appointment to get out here. They transfer me to whatever department and they always say they will call me in 48 to72 hours! ITS HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! It is now July 8th, 2024 and still haven't got a call or update when they will install it.

Worst ever customer service

We bought a freezer from the scratch n dent store in tacoma wa. It stopped working in January. We had bought an extended warranty and it took 6 months to get a credit to order a new freezer( we went through 6 techs, hours and gours of phone calls and the going to the store), now that we ordered a new one, the delivery date being today, we got no calls to say it was not coming. I had to call and talk to 3 people. They cannot tell me when we will have the freezer we paid for and scheduled a delivery for.
