Emailed to report 8 missing caps, plus manufacturer damage (deep dent & metal burr painted over, see photo) to frame.
No response for 3 weeks, nor out of office mes
Initially said caps were not available, then back tracked.
He stated no damage on completion, sent low resolution photos of the 3 metre wide patio door, impossible to zoom in on area of damage.
Were told to wait 48 before using the door, so not possible to check. But final payment was due on completion.
Initially implied the damage caused post installation. Then said would provide paint, and latterly fit replacement part, then back tracked again saying we didn't need the new part on our installation and remove it !!(he was happy for dust, brick/mortar debris to drop into the door seals)
No discount offered to compensate for the problems.
Concussion, going round in circles. Would not trust them to do the work correctly.

My wife clearly emailed you details about the missing door adjustment caps (8)
Please pay more attention to your customers installation. We didn't have a SILL fitted because it's internal patio door between the lounge and conservatory.
We still await a response to our last email to you.

Please see further photo from the new replacement part provided, note the unfinished edge (as previously stated it takes seconds to run a file over the cut edge)
More importantly, as shown on the attached photo of the damage done by Shaun using a power tool (set on hammer setting). We now have a damaged frame to add to the list of problems.
I don't know why you sent Shaun to our address (unannounced) in light of the missing caps and damage.
