Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Many people found the website to be unsatisfactory, with concerns about the prevalence of fake profiles and bots, making it difficult to find genuine connections. Customers frequently reported issues with the customer service, describing it as unhelpful, rude, and effectively nonexistent, with no phone number available and appeals going nowhere. The service itself was often criticized for being of poor quality, with many users expressing concerns about the nature of interactions on the platform and feeling that the high membership prices are not justified by the value received. However, some customers also noted that the website design and search functions were good, and a few individuals reported success in meeting people, although this was often described as a rare occurrence.

this site used to be excellent

this site used to be excellent. But once the scammers figured out it’s free it was ripe for the taking 75% of the women are fake. I belong to the site for 9 to 10 years and it was great back in 2016 through 2021 no, it’s a pure waste of time don’t waste your money or your time, the second problem with it now it’s full of prostitutes most of the girls now want to get paid for sex at least in Florida

Girls being banned

As some others have mentioned. In 2017/18 I was meeting 2-3 girls a month, they were all real and genuine. 5/5 starts.

Then suddenly new membership got stagnant. I was getting a lot of messages from girls who'd often be banned instantly. I tried to talk about this on reddit and the people there insist it's just seeking "cracking down on scammers". But i know this is not the case because I've seen scammers linger on there for weeks and also refer to my experience above.

I would really love to know the reasoning behind all this. All their money, like it or not, comes from men. If men have nothing worth paying 150$ to talk to, why would we pay for it?

The place used to be on fire, now it's dying a slow death due to over moderation.

Seeking.com is an exceptional online dating platform that combines cutting-edge technology with a warm, welcoming community. Whether you’re seeking a soulmate, a casual connection, or something in between, Seeking.com has you covered. I have met some amazing women from around the globe, just got to be weary as there is some scammers but stick out like a sore thumb, i am a diamond member and not an issue, i try to stay clear of newbies that have just joined as they seem to disappear quick enough.

It is NOT a right cite for you if…

It is NOT a right cite for you if you’re a young woman who’s NOT in “business “ and you live in Germany.
I deleted the account after 4 days of using.
My profile had a decent pictures of me and description said that I’m only looking for long term relationships dont go for vacations/night.
80% “men” are bots that talk as real ppl. They only want to get your phone number. they say phrases like “i’m going to visit your city and buy property there” (I live in a Wuppertal and he lives in USA), “I can’t find you on telegram by the nickname, give me your number”, “i’m having a dining meeting in your city and want to invite you with me”. They are scripted to make 2 days pause if you refuse to give a number, and later on starting communication again.
18% are recruiters that pretend at first that they are looking for a long term relationship. They are going to invite you for a “drink” in the middle of the night or go visit them to Münich, Brussels, Dubai or Paris. It’s NEVER going to be close to you. If you refuse and propose them to visit your city or any other nearby, they just stop answering or insult you, telling that you are in the bottom of the life and you should obey to them.
2% are real (mostly dutch) that only want to have you for one night.

I also see it unfair that everyone can see your pictures. I deleted pictures on my profile and found out that I lost opportunity to chat even with those I had chatted already..
I’m sure that this cite is involved in humans traffic and I do not recommend it for young women.
But if you do, DO NOT use your real name, don’t give your phone number or contacts

Only bots

I'm going to parrot what other women have been saying. Created an account years ago and recently went about adding photos and filling in the written sections. Was blocked within hours and when questioned was just sent a blurb about how I was banned and their decision was final. I've shown other people my profile and they thought it could be because they thought I was a bot but can easily verify and was not given the chance. I was covered up and there was nothing sexual about my account. I never asked for anything and was looking for a monogamous relationship in person. I created another profile as a man and was shown mainly photos of women in lingerie asking for gifts. These could all be easily found by reverse searching the image and it's obvious how the site is making its money. They want to block viable women so they continue to get revenue through their shops

DO NOT Pay For Verification ID (Unless you want to get auto banned)

I am an authentic SB in Singapore with no criminal records whatsoever. Joined about 5 days ago. Already had 2 successful free verification (Photo + Social Media). Made a huge mistake in paying for their 'Verification ID'.

Not only were there glitches such as the app freezing and seems unable to do scans properly, but they decided to ban me (a Sugar Baby) for no good reason. The following is what they said:
"Thank you for reaching out to Support!

I see that your recent attempt to verify your ID has been denied. As a result, your account has been permanently banned.

After a thorough review, the ID you submitted did not meet our verification standards. While we are unable to disclose specifics, some possible reasons for this denial might include an Invalid Document Type, an Expired Document, or a Tampered Document.

Our ID verification process is crucial for maintaining the security and integrity of our site. We understand that this decision may be disappointing, and we apologize for any inconvenience it may cause. However, we must uphold strict verification standards to ensure the safety and compliance of our platform.

Thank you for your understanding."

My location, age, face are all according to my ID. Only my username isn't which follows their privacy guideline written on their site (Who wants to reveal their real name?). Their customer service is certainly nonchalant and they even proceeded to ban a new account with a new email I made (I reused some photos and tried to link back same Instagram account). And had the cheek to email us saying that if we try to sneak back to the site, we are further breaking their t&c.

I am now more worried that my photos and fully written profile descriptions are now going to be used by them as fake SB profiles!

I initially thought that the high membership rates for men would help filter out more authentic SD profiles, only to realise maybe this site really isn't the real deal.

Not Good..

Seeking used to be OK back in the old days when it was still called "Seeking Arrangement". Now days it reminds me more of former Craigslists casual encounters, because the men on there are very low end, disrespectful, shallow and cheap. A lot of them are creepy, perverted, morally indicent older guys who are hookup mongers/hobbyists. The most ridiculous thing is that they want you to look like a gorgeous Instagram model but are only willing to offer maybe $300!!?.... and even then they will constantly complain about everything and say "Oh, You Don't Check All My Boxes" considering you an overpriced hooker who doesn't deserve anything. If you are over 25 - these jerks will label you as "old/older". Most don't even know what an arrangement is - they think that it's when you pay someone for sex.. (Some dudes even manage to write reviews on Escort forums about ladies they met on Seeking. They talk explicit trash, post profile photos, phone numbers and links to the girls profiles there. And Seeking doesn't seem to mind at all - they do nothing about it). This is a cesspool that's filled with swindlers, scammers, predators, pedophiles and even stalkers! So this site is certainly not for naive girls. Not to mention that Seeking has an enormous amount of fake profiles and bots.. I assume if a guy is old, fat, ugly and cheap - he's probably real (not a bot..lol). Plenty of dumb people, time wasters and pranksters on there as well. Folks who can't put a simple sentence together, bad English, bad grammar, insults etc. However, I would say that the most aggravating thing for me was a ton of low effort/inconsistent messages - that's when members are lazy and reply with just two words!!? Plus those who expect you to travel to them right off the bat at your own expense.. They tell you stuff like "Just hop on the plane and come see me - I'm a really nice guy".. LOL. Oh yeah, and also those who message you from other countries.

Overall Seeking a huge disappointment.

I've been on seeking since 2019

I've been on seeking since 2019. I stepped away for awhile but still had my profile up. I'm a sugar baby seeking a sugar daddy. If I could give this site 0 stars I would. Today I had a guy force himself on me all I have is his email robert 365383 at gmail.com. he's an old man who seems okay at first. Next thing you know he's on top of you ripping your clothes off. I cant press charges because I let him into my house. Stay away from this site. I've never had a good experience.

I thought this site was for sugar babies/daddies

I thought this site was designed to match sugar babies and daddies. There are a lot of fake photos of women, taken from Intra-models, etc. The women who are real want you to pay them $300 to $1000 to meet them in person (they call it PPM). Others expect an allowance of $3000 + per month min. before you get to know them!
I don't mind helping a young lady out by paying her bills and letting her experience and upgraded lifestyle with me. But this seems to be a haven for overpriced hookers (PPM, really?)

So far not good

I’m a real woman not a fake “bot” or something and they keep suspending my account. I was going to buy a membership from them but they just keep suspending me and I tried making different accounts with different emails and they still suspend me and when I ask why, they give me some bulls*** reason saying I’m not real!

They suspend/ban profiles of real girls

They suspend/ban profiles without any reason.I created a profile, added a few pictures(nothing inappropriate),wrote a super sincere short biography, and described my expectations. When I tried to check my messages,I found out that they had already blocked me!!!I dm’d them to find out the reason, but they never explained anything to me!Just said it was permanent! They don’t ban scammers and fake accounts! They seem to only ban girls who are genuinely interested in this lifestyle and are 100% real and honest!I don’t get their logic!I wouldn’t recommend the site!Guys!Don’t waste your time and money! They ban real girls and let scammers fool you!

Fakes and Scams

I'm a man and had a diamond membership. Every "person" I spoke with was a fake. I did a google image search and most photos are stolen from other sites. I had people try to coerce me into crypto scams. No one is verified. Just a complete waste of time and money. If you like complete frustration sign up. This site should be banned in the US, like TikTok is going to be. Just complete BS.

Good UI design, poor membership

The interface on the website is great, but the quality of the profile members has declined to such low levels that all you find are escorts offering per hourly rates. The website does little to stop these from springing back, because as soon as I report an account, the same person is back again a few hours later with a new profile.

AI on website is Biased for darker skinned SB. Every time I post a new photo, they automatically send it to private. But if I view some of the guys pictures, there’s little girls in their bikinis and some of their profiles or their face is completely blurred out, but they continue to let them post whatever they want. I guess they want you to subscribe or get some form premium account for them to accept what you want to add. I guess I’ll have to find a new website.

Trash

Free SB account, men with no verification or photographs will hit you up from all over the country, not even read your profile and spam your inbox with phone numbers and won't respond on the site.
Seems like a lot of trash and fakes on here.

I had a paid verified account as a SB

I had a paid verified account as a SB. You are allowed to put public and private photos there, I only wrote in bio along with my description "please don't send me a request to share my private photos without previous interaction" I also had enough real recent public ones. The men still just kept clicking "share private images" like I'm a piece of meat . Without even saying "hi" to me!
I only told a couple guys it's not polite, that I'm a person and not an object, that was obviously regarded as "harassment" how is it harassment when so many ppl disrespect you like this? And if you share your photos with those impolite ones , 90 percent of them would disappear anyway. Seeking wants the real girls to be a free and obedient clown unable to say anything at all to rude guys - among the hoards of bots that I'm sure work for seeking.com as it's impossible for a REAL GIRL to make an account without an American government ID , real verification photo & they checked my Instagram too.
I think whoever reports you for any reason , they kick you off the site, of course with no refund 😂
I wasn't even online for a week, I had a surgery, was NOT talking to anyone.
Those guys on seeking are CROOKS.

Great but you need A LOT of effort to make it work

I generally don't bother to leave reviews but thought it would be useful to share my experience of being on seeking for nearly 3 years. I have only been a paying member for short periods during this time. Anyone signing up must remember:

- There are quite few bots, online video / pic sellers, catfish on this platform

- You need to have your wits about you and some experience to identify and ignore them

- Even within the genuine member pool, there are a lot of women just 'testing' the waters or simply looking for male attention. Some will even exchange numbers, chat, speak to you only to ghost you on the actual day of meet.

- If you can be bothered to go through all of this, come across as a normal, respectful guy who isn't desperate, then you will eventually find some genuine and incredibly attractive ladies

- I had 2 sugar arrangements and 3 FWB ones out of contacting maybe 100 women. So gives you and idea about the success ratio.

- Mind you I am an above average looking, fit, late 30s male and made it clear on my profile that I don't pay ridiculous money to anyone

I know a few members who are happy to pay more and have some regular arrangements with some very attractive and intelligent women. So the platform works but only if you are willing to put in A LOT of time and effort into it.

Also, during my last membership period I decided to cancel one week in and seeking support very generously refunded the fee on a pro rata basis, so full points to them.

Dont expect a refund/explanation/appeal for unjustified sanctions.

If they take action for breaching the ToS, they refuse to provide any information or evidence to back it up. They fob you off with data privacy excuses. And there is no way to appeal or get your money back. There are people on the site who report for no good reason. "...we regret to inform you that we are unable to disclose the specific evidence or details pertaining to your case in order to maintain the security and privacy of all our members..." Think carefully before joining!! Customer Service is appalling and rude and totally unhelpful. Those higher up are not much help either. All Email responses all sound pre written and then signed by a so called customer support agent.
