The site was pretty easy to navigate. The only issue was the date of birth question. I'm sure there's an easy way of going back decades to find your birth date but I could not find it, so it was incre... See more

It all went through easy enough but I would have liked the opportunity to pick my own seats especially as is a venue I don’t really know.

Good for getting tickets for smaller gigs and venues. My only issue is ticket orders not linking to mobile wallet all the time.

Booking process

Booking process, to long winded, ridiculous way to put in date of birth, why can't it just typed in ? Why do you need to know anyway ? It was easier to book Oasis & Coldplay tkts than your system !

Website not very user friendly

Buying tickets took 3 attempts to purchase. The most annoying part was having to scroll to get your birthday date, then time passed out so had to start again! Not very user friendly.

Get your act together…….

Classics Events Co (Manchester based company) Ibiza at the Manchester cathedral on Saturday.

Improve a lot! Basic customer supplier engagement and trust! Get the basics right the experiance takes care of itself…. Non of which took place yesterday.

I walked past the cathedral not knowing the event was on, I wanted to speak to the cathedral frankly to organise an event looking at the bee keeping. Anyway I asked the young lady at the entrance what was happening, only to be met with a look of distain for even talking to her, where she quickly advised me this was a private event.

Much like trying to get blood from a stone I managed to tease out it was a ticketed event. Not to be put off from the distinct lack of common decency from someone who clearly felt a little to much empowerment, obviously due to some perceived value in being at the entrance to the event. Never the less I went online and booked a ticket for general entry.

On entering your security team, pretty much man handled my bag as if it was a bag of Tesco shopping and I had been some sort of shop lifter. I quickly told the security guard I would open the bag and show him. Not another great start.

On entering it was clearly very early. I decided to look round then I came to the conclusion I would go and find my friends and advise them to attend. So j proceeds to leave the event. In leaving your security team and your lady who was clearly living the role at the entrance told me I could not reenter so I could not leave.

In amazement I said this is not a prison it is a cathedral I have paid for a ticket and I cannot reenter but I could have just entered later. The answer was yes. The lady said “I quote-to be fair all events dot he same” and that is simply not true and events would normally tag you in some way to allow reentry if you leave. Your team did not.

Needless to say I left…..

It’s an absolute joke, a g nearly 50 pounds in today’s market someone who pays for entry cannot re enter I paid for the full evening and leaving and renting should not forefit my precious entry.

This is not how business should be run and certainly not how teams should operate. You have not committed to providing the product paid for and you have definitely no idea how to deal with customers.

Needless to say you will likly say read th small print… however that’s why it’s small print! So you bank on personnel not reading it. Diobolical and I have and will raise this with the independent bodies concerned. It’s not the money it’s principles and common human decency… Jon of which took place and is failing in much of what Manchester stood for!

Seating options

I would have liked to be able to see the location of the seats we were booking and perhaps choose different options.
