Very professional staff and excellent customer service

I dealt with Steven at select car leasing.
Select was recommended to me by a friend. From my first phone call for an enquiry, through to the end, nothing was ever a problem and everything was dealt with straight away. Top service and would recommend to anyone wanting to lease a car.

I had a good knowledge of what I was wanting to lease before choosing Select Car Leasing. My application was handled by Nat, who was an absolute star and a great help. At no time did i feel pressurised into making a quick decision, Nat was able to answer all of my questions and really helped me through the process. By using Select Car Leasing you will be assured of getting a competitive price and a hassle free experience, there's no hard selling or feeling pressurised into making a quick "if you sign up now" decision. SCL are honest about delivery times and in my case Nat kept me informed throughout the process.

This was a first time renewal with Select having had a very good first experience. However I do feel they could do better in terms of what they say to their customers in the beginning versus the reality.
My contract was due to end beginning of May. I first contacted Select regarding ordering a new car back in Feb. At the time I had decided on an Omoda 5, waited a good week to hear anything about it, then the agent told me it had been a bit of a nightmare getting anywhere with it, i had also got worried because of a lot of things I had read about late deliveries on these cars. The agent then suggested a Kia Sportage which was on an offer, Paid the arrangement fee and this is where things changed a bit. Another week or so later I got a call to say he could not secure the vehicle as that offer was not available and that it would now cost more, he did also offered a partial refund of £100 for the arrangement fee which I accepted, but I did have to chase this.
Once all this was confirmed and I got access to the portal, I logged on the see that the delivery date was June/July, when it was supposed to be a May delivery. When I questioned this I was told it was just an anticipated delivery date. Fast forward to now, the new car arrived on the 14th July. I had to keep hold of our other lease car for 2 months, it was lucky i hadn't used all my mileage allowance. The new car really is lovely and I am happy but I do feel improvements needs to be made in terms of communication and the customer journey. I also do not like having to do all the chasing and jumping through hoops. Feels like a bit of a cash grab from Select. I like a company to be direct and straight with me without all the fluff.
Also when it came to arranging return of the old car, I had a letter from the finance company to contact Select for them to arrange, so was suprised when I contacted the agent to do this, he just emailed me the phone number to do it myself.
When we come to renewal, I will be shopping around unfortunately.
I also wasn't keen on being contacted by an affiliated company to buy gap insurance at a highly inflated price, I had already purchased this for a much more reasonable price from another reputable company.

From opening my initial contact with Select Car Leasing they have been very focused on my wishes and have kept me informed all the way through to completion.
I must give Matt Eldred a mention as he has been my point of contact and he went that extra mile.

Myles always returned calls and emails within 24hrs, the process of ordering a vehicle very easy hassle free.
