My mum brought a car from here

My mum brought a car from here, i went with her, they got her to pay for the car into different bank accounts by bank transfer, the car then had a problem that the warranty didn’t cover, he asked her to lie about what was wrong with and he’d get someone to do it rather than the garage she always used, she refused he then asked her to ask her garage to do it as a favour for £50!

Leak sealer found in engine

I purchased a 3 year old car just out of warranty with Nissan with around 23K miles from Selectacars. 1 year later lost all my coolant and damaged my head gasket. On expection my machanic found leak sealant (grey sludge) around the thermostat housing. As the previous owner sold within the warranty I can only assume the dealer doing this. The owner was very grumpy and not very pleasant

Bought a car from EK Select Cars 3…

Bought a car from EK Select Cars 3 months ago, it now needs a new clutch & EK Select Cars are not the slightest bit interested !! The warranty that comes with the car, Momentum Warranties, is also not worth the paper it is written on !!! We paid top price for the car and are now looking at a bill for £1000. Will never use this car dealer again, next time we will buy privately & set aside £1000 for any faults that it may have, we will still save ourselves a lot of money !!!

Appalling Aftersales - AVOID!!!

After finding a great looking Audi A6 Avant on Autotrader, I went to visit the showroom. All looked well and the sales staff were friendly and polite. We agreed on a price and I arranged to collect the car the next morning on the basis that it past it's MOT without any advisories and had a piece of trim that was damaged replaced before I collected.
I kept in touch with the salesman for the rest of the day who assured me the car was being seen to and would be ready the following morning. I made the two hour trip back over the next day to collect and was told it had past the MOT with an advisory (one tyre), but they couldn't get a tyre in time to sort it. Not great, but no problem, lets nip on a tyre fitting website, get a price and deduct it from my balance and were sorted? No, we can get the tyres cheaper so we'll get it shipped to you. Three months later, ignored phone calls everyday and I've given up on my tyre ever arriving. The trim replacement had also turned out to be a poor repair of the existing trim which is now in the same state it was when I first viewed it. I'm now looking at an extra £350 to spend to fix the trim properly and replace the tyre that is now bald after doing over 4K miles on it since purchase. I would not recommend these cowboys to anyone. Steer clear, there are better dealerships out there!
