Fantastic company, easy to use website, excellent service and really good price.

I found this company on google and was a bit sceptical at first. I sent a really old beat up laptop, downloaded their quote and shipping label which is free shipping. They rec'd, I got an email, they reviewed, I got an email, they requited, I got an email, I accepted requite and got paid same day into my PayPal. I have sent 12 laptops since. Communication superb. Service superb. Thanks.

Can't fault this service. User friendly website, freepost boxes and packaging dispatched right away and prompt response from the Company confirming receipt of laptops.

Everything stated on the website is true. I asked to be sent a box and it arrived quickly. I was pleasantly surprised that they even sent the bubble wrap. Payment was almost instantaneous.

Instructions were clear. I received confirmation email the day after I sent my package. And the following day, I got my payment to paypal. It's great.

We arranged to sell our laptop, and waited in all day for the courier. There was no courier.

I tried phoning several times, not one of my calls was answered.

There was no response to either of the emails I sent.

Give it a try: if you're thinking of using this company, call them first on 01376 518509. They won't answer: that tells you all you need to know.

They've also tried to get this review removed, and insisted that I 'prove' I was a customer. Fortunately I still had the shipping sheet they sent me to print out, to include in my parcel.

Should I be suspicious of all the glowing positive reviews from people who have only reviewed one company?

Sell Your-laptop offered a good value and the service was excatly as promoted. As I live near their premises I was able to deliver the laptop to them which speeded things up. The service was prompt and the offered price paid very quickly.

I sold my laptop and received the price given.
Unfortunately, my laptop got to the company late in the post due to royal mail issues. However, the manager Steve kept in contact with me and had great communication. I will use this company again

I tried several laptop buying sites before picking this one. Site easy to use, and gave a very fair estimate of laptop value. They sent packaging free for me to send the laptop (freepost). Whole process quick and easy. They paid dull estimate value into my account about a week after sending the laptop. They will certainly be my first choice next time I have a laptop to sell.

Easy quote, confirmed really quickly. Free Box and P&P, and best of all no after agreement decrease in offers. I will be using them again very soon.

Sell Your-laptop delivered on its promise of same day payment. Only comment is the third party courier (DPD) used by the Company which was not reliable. We arranged for a pick up and DPD confirmed by SMS that they would arrange a pick up between 11:45 and 17:00. So we waited for the courier, listening out for the doorbell. At 15:45 I received another SMS from DPD informing me that they were unable to collect the package as no one was home and asked to rearrange to another day!

Unwilling to spend another day waiting for them, I changed my delivery option to FREEPOST, printed out the label and dropped it off at the local post office at 16:30 the same afternoon. The laptop was confirmed received when i checked at 9:00 the following morning and payment was made for the quoted amount in the afternoon.

Excellent service from Sell Your Laptop and Royal Mail but lousy service from DPD!

Filled in the simple form on Wednesday night, received the box and sent the laptop in for free on Friday, got paid on Monday. Easy and speedy service for those with unused laptops lying around, or those that have recently upgraded as I had. Would definitely recommend.
