I’ve used on moves to and from the UK 4 years apart. On each occasion, I experienced great customer service at every point. Really friendly and helpful delivery drivers, phone service that was always knowledgeable and able to respond to questions and the online platform very user friendly. 1. The service is not door-to-door as it is advertised on the website.
2. The inability to schedule a time to drop off or pick up the boxes in advance has caused me a lot of trouble since it can only be done during working hours on workdays.
3. The customer service is not friendly and professional. He interrupted my talking several times and did not help solve problems.
4. As the customer service people said, I emailed the company to write my complaint; however never heard anything back.

I have now used seven seas multiple times with each move made between the UK & Australia. I have always had an exemplary service from the very start of the process to the end. They are prompt with their replies and send numerous emails so you do not forget anything. I particularly love the customer service of the men who have picked up and dropped off the items at the homes; they are always kind and happy to answer any questions warmly. It is a very seamless process- I do not have any concerns for my belongings each time the move has been undertaken. Thanks so much; I will very likely use this service numerous times in the future.

Good and friendly service. Driver was very helpful. Instructions regarding naming of items inside boxes might just be a thing you can be more specific on as we had to re-do our lists when the shipment had already been collected. But overall, we had a very good experience with the company.

Save yourself money and time and do it yourself with a professional shipping company.
Ordered 2 boxes to be sent from Australia to the UK.
Despite providing all the information needed. SevenSeas miscommunicated this with FedEx leading to significant delays to these arriving. I would be okay with this if SevenSeas actually managed it and communicated. Instead it was down to me to do this.
Throughout this I had no communication, called over 10 times and had to lodge a complaint for anything to happen. Even still the response I got was a complete denial of any fault, saying it was out of their hands with FedEx. Which again was not true and is surely what you pay a shipping company to manage for you?
Still here 4 weeks on with 1 box stuck in fedex. The excuse we are given is that it’s due to customs, but that is not true as both boxes were cleared under the same declaration.

Following on from my last review, I am disappointed to say that staff are still providing conflicting and incorrect information — one person will state one thing, while another will say something entirely different. I have clear evidence to prove this, including written quotes and recorded call logs.
I chose air shipping, paying a higher cost on the assurance that my goods would arrive within a maximum of 20 days. This has not been the case at all. When the tracking stopped updating, I emailed to ask for an update, and again received two completely different answers: one response confirmed delivery within the promised 20-day window, while another stated it would take an additional week — meaning it will arrive well past the original agreed timeframe. I paid extra for air shipping specifically because it was supposed to be faster, yet my shipment has been unnecessarily delayed.
I also strongly advise customers to be very careful, as there are numerous unexpected extra charges that staff try to pressure you into paying. Save yourself time, money, and a great deal of stress — avoid using Seven Seas.
As I expected, I know any response to this review will not acknowledge or address their mistakes, just like the last time; they clearly do not investigate issues properly before replying, and my previous response was full of untrue statements. I would, however, appreciate it if they actually looked into the facts of this case before replying this time.

I’ve had a horrific experience with 7 Seas; every single step has been a disaster. Their staff is completely uninformed; I was told boxes could be 30kg, only to find out later that air shipping is capped at 26kg. I was even quoted to ship a TV, only to be told after the fact it wasn't possible via air, forcing me into a new, more expensive quote.
The website is a nightmare. It refused to accept my document uploads, and when I called for help, the agents were useless. I eventually had to email everything manually just for them to upload it for me. Now, because they are "reviewing" the new quote caused by their own misinformation, my shipment is facing further delays. I still have no idea what my shipping timeframe even is.
The worst part was the collection. I am a petite female weighing 38kg, and I had multiple 30kg boxes. The driver only had to step one inch inside the door to help, but he flat-out refused, leaving me to struggle with weight nearly equal to my own body mass. Between the misinformation, the broken website, and the lack of basic human decency from the driver, I would never recommend this company. Avoid at all costs.

Supplied boxes were sturdy and fit a decent amount of stuff, the driver that dropped off the empty boxes/picked up the full ones was great and the rest of the service has been great for the price with the ETA looking about exactly as promised.

I've used this company multiple times in the past, and haven't had an issue. However on my latest move, my boxes, which are going from Toronto to Sydney, have sat in Melbourne for 8+ days after clearing customs. The shipment is already delayed, and I have called twice now only to be firstly provided a commitment to come back to me with a firm delivery date (this never happened), and then more excuses on the second call, where I was still not able to be provided with a delivery date.
I understand when items are on ships crossing the ocean, things are out of SevenSeas control, but after clearing customs in Australia things are entirely within their control, and considering my shipment is already late, I don't think it's acceptable to just be retaining the items in Melbourne for an unknown timeframe.
My advice to anyone moving overseas, add additional items with your airline, it works out cheaper per item and you get them straight away, not 4+ months later.
