Andorra a beautiful place to visit. Coach - Thankfully we travelled in a Delta coach. Not a Shearings that has a large sign right across the windscreen, blocking views. Drivers - Darius and Neil were the very best I have travelled with. 100% professionals in every way. Hotels - The en route ones were excellent. Our main hotel, the rooms were clean and spacious, only being let down by the lack of a hospitality tray. Food - NOT GOOD The dining room staff could do with a few lessons in customer etiquette. They were quite rude at times. Excursions - I appreciate how difficult it must be to plan these in Andorra, but were they ever reccied. Far too much free time was given to explore these tiny places. Another free day in Andorra la Vella would have been good.

Good but not great.lots of travelling with not always a great end product.Andorra is a lovely country,which could be explored a bit more.

My husband and I did this Shearings holiday two weeks ago. The Hotel President is very nice but on a very noisy road. The room was large with a very comfortable bed; all toiletries were in the room and the wifi, top rate. The buffet meals were excellent with amazing choices. The bar had many drinks on offer. Tea and coffee making in the room would have been appreciated. Lounges were plentiful and the roof top garden was appreciated, however there was not enough shelter on very hot days nor enough chairs. The swimming pool and jacuzzi looked great. Lifts always worked and the whole décor is lovely. Reception staff were pleasant but the knowledge of English was not always there. Juan was the best!

A disappointing holiday in a number of respects, principally because there was too little of any interest to see and far too much time allowed to see what little there was. To give just two examples: we were given over three hours to see what Le Seu d' Urgell and its 'historic centre' had to offer, butthe only element of any interest was the cathedral, which was closed. On another occasion we were given about an hour and three quarters to visit the 'pretty village of Os de Civis' where there were only a few houses and one souvenir shop which was closed as soon as we arrived. Surely Shearings should know that 'siesta time' is common in the area and have then planned accordingly. The hotels were very varied in quality, the Best Western Plus at Orly Airport being outstanding....ly bad. the staff were indifferent at best, clearly not happy in their work, and one was gratuitously rude, the service was very slow and the tap in my room was broken so that I couldn't get any hot water. The only four (or five) star element was the prices; I hope that Shearings do not use the place again. However, our main hotel, the President in Andorra, was very different, with generally friendly, helpful and efficient staff and comfortable rooms. Nevertheless, to paraphrase W C Fields, 'I went to Andorra once, but it was closed'.

Good selection of beers, wines and spirits. However the open bar promoted to be from 8.30pm -10.30pm did not in fact commence until after 9.00 because the bar person was waiting on the dinner guests in the restaurant and once the restaurant was closed was then on bar duty. The time was changed on the last two evenings from. 9.00 - 11.00.

A good trip in general but timings need some work. There was an 1,5 hour avoidable stop on the way from West Wales to Leigh Delamare services on the way out, and over an hour wait for replacement bus from Stop 24 to Cardiff on the way back. More importantly, timing of town visits need adjustment. We visited Seu de Urgell in the afternoon, when the main attraction, the cathedral, was closed for the afternoon siesta from 1 to 4 pm. We had to leave at 4:30, so there was no chance to see it inside. It would be also good if the drivers had information sheets with some info to read out about the places we visited and what is worth seeing during the time we were there (not just the info which restaurants may be open, but something about history, etc., and when walking shoes may be needed!).

Very disappointed. Hotel on very busy main street, nothing much in Andorra itself and trips nothing to rave about apart from one only. Everywhere closed. Dinner at 9pm too late and nothing in hotel from breakfast until dinner. Used a cafe next door. Coach drivers excellent but don't think they will be going back there!!

Drivers excellent but too long on coach with not much to do when we eventually got there.It was nearly 30 hours travelling for us and not even coffee or tea in the room and hotel did not have anywhere to buy one..French stop over was the same on the way out. I will take a kettle next time. Well actually there will not be a next time for us. Recommend that you go to Barcelona and have Andorra as a day trip instead.

4 days traveling out of 7 left only 3 days in the resort and in any case Andorra has nothing to attract the tourist except mountain scenery..The excursons were a disappointment.

Can't fault the coach drivers but the journey was too long in relation to the length of the holiday. Andorra itself was interesting. The " hot" food in the hotel was inedible as it was never hot enough so I stuck to salads. The scenery was beautiful but 3 of the places had hardly anything to see ( except for the general scenery). There should definitely be a warning that Lake Engolasters is inaccessible for anyone with mobility problems. Thankfully the weather was good as, if it had been raining it would have been a disaster.

I travelled by myself so got crushed in my seat by the man in the next seat for 4 days. One of the hotels claimed to be 4 star hotels at Paris had coffee stained walls and chipped furniture. But the tour itself was very good and drives were also good

Yet again i had a very rude passenger to sit next to. Seat originally booked was changed.Tour needs rescheduling,as trip to Spain, everywhere closed for a siesta. Hotel only 3*. Some staff in restaurant were quite rude.food not so good. Drivers did apologise.

An interesting destination and good value for money. One of our 2 coach drivers was pleasant, helpful, friendly and polite'; the other one was a little brash. The hotel was pleasant enough; it was not the one we were booked to stay at according to the brochure, but a last minute change, we would be interested to know why the hotel was changed (Hotel Panorama instead of Hotel President). The buffet-style meals were good and supplies were plentiful, but the times of the evening meal were changed from day to day and hotel staff did not always communicate this well. The excursion on Wednesday was good but the excursion on Tuesday was poor, there were very few places open where we could get a hot drink or food and we feel that the excursions were planned by office staff and left to the coach drivers to implement. A minor complaint - we were charged for hot water to make a drink on the main tour coach, but on the feeder coach going home hot water was provided free of charge. I can understand Shearings having to make a charge to cover the cost of tea/coffee etc, but I can't see that there is any extra cost to provide hot water when the customer brings their own teabags etc. You need to clarify this both to staff and customers. We found both the tour coach and feeder coach comfortable, although the journey was long and somewhat tiring it would have been more tiring still if we had travelled independently. Overall quite satisfied with the holiday

We apologise for the other driver’s brashness and will address this to ensure a consistently friendly experience from all our staff.

Regarding the change in hotel accommodation, we sincerely apologise for the last-minute switch from Hotel President to Hotel Panorama. Sometimes unforeseen circumstances necessitate such changes. We strive to ensure these transitions are as smooth as possible and regret any inconvenience this caused.

We are glad you enjoyed the buffet-style meals and found the supplies plentiful. However, we apologise for the inconsistent mealtimes and the lack of clear communication from the hotel staff. We will work closely with our hotel partners to improve this for future travellers.

Your feedback about the excursions is invaluable. We regret that Tuesday's excursion did not meet your expectations due to the limited availability of places for refreshments. We will review our planning process to ensure better coordination and availability of amenities on all excursions.

The issue regarding the charge for hot water on the main tour coach, but not on the feeder coach, is noted. We understand how this inconsistency can be frustrating. We will clarify our policy and communicate it clearly to both our staff and customers to avoid any future confusion.

It is reassuring to know that you found both the tour coach and feeder coach comfortable, which made the long journey more bearable. We appreciate your understanding and are pleased that overall, you were quite satisfied with your holiday experience.
