Too longer coach journey although very good quality coach and excellent drivers. Hotel clean and comfortable, staff adequate, food satisfactory but no drink’s available in room and no drink of any type of any type after breakfast until dinner at 8pm. Bar not open until 8.30pm and free drinks for only a couple of hours after dinner. Main shopping centre approximately 1 mile away and no mention made before booking that holiday not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. The two couriers/drivers were excellent, made the best of what was available and day trips were very good
An enjoyable trip with stunning scenery of mountains, lakes, forests and quaint towns.
The hotel could not be rated as 4star. There was no where in the hotel to get a coffee or snacks between breakfast and dinner. There was a miserable waitress at Breakfast and Dinner who was intimidating in where anyone sat and spoilt the whole atomosphere
Fantastic drivers, kind and thoughtful, very long journey, hotel was good, the food was good, but needed to have some labeling,no idea what we were eating, a nightmare for a vegetarian or had any allergy.
Drivers were excellent. Hotel very good only thing that could have been improved was the hot food which could have been hotter.
Good hotel. Food very nice and plentiful buffet style. Quality brands drinks inclusive. Would have liked one extra day in Andorra. Appreciated quality of drivers Nigel and Sarah. Informative and had a good sense of humour. Maybe a rethink on route down to Andorra avoiding bad traffic around Paris, perhaps going west from Calais then due south with overnight hotel to the west of Paris (Le Mans, Tours, Orleans areas) Good value for money with 4 star hotels overnight and in resort.
Planning for hotel stop overs to and from holiday was very bad.
Found the fact that no drinks were served in the hotel until 8pm and also the dining room did not open until then. 8pm is late to eat for a lot of people. The staff at the hotel were great although only a few spoke a few words of English. Really enjoyed this holiday and it looks like Andorra is gearing itself up for year round tourists rather than just skiers. Fabulous tax free shopping and the main town centre is traffic free. There is a lot of travelling involved getting to Andorra, drivers superb in trying to get us there asap.
Was a nice holiday maybe not Long enough as two days traveling isn't really advised is it especially getting to overnight stop at 23.30 and back on road at 7.30 and arrive after 13 hours in Anddora maybe company need to re word the trip however the coach drivers junior and Chris were good and feeder driver on outbound was great incoming feeder from stop 24 to home she was rude to a few and even made a lady cry terrible service by her but like I said overall holiday was beautiful and places we visited was nice
Poorly described in brochure particularly in relation to travel time (e.g. a travel day might involve 19 hours travelling in practice) and suitability of excursions for people with mobility problems.
Only worth going to Andorra if you are seriously into duty free shopping. Andorra La Vella, the capital is extremely pretty, clean and has amazing statues and features which put lots of cities to shame. Parts of it reminded me of Covent Garden at Christmas. Having said that it is just a duty free shopping centre. The trips were mostly underwhelming and chosen as there wasn’t anywhere else to visit. Had 50 minutes wait for change of drivers stuck at the side of the road approximately an hour after we had started off on coach to get home for change of drivers. The driver leaving locked the toilet due to it being overflowing. He had a very bad attitude and used foul language describing one of the Shearings office staff to explain change of drivers. Hotels were mostly very good although the cafeteria at the main one was only open a couple of hours per morning when we were out on trips. The coach did run out of water which was unfortunate as needed it to take medication. Drivers were amazing though, especially on the mountainous roads.
The overnight hotels breakfasts were a farse, too many people, but rooms good, the drinks inclusive is a farse its 8.30 to 10.30 but evening meals is 8.30 drivers were brilliant, overall I enjoyed the holiday
Generally very good - scenery good, drivers Sean & Kieran excellent, fellow passengers by and large very pleasant. Hotel in Orly not up to usual standard as not fully prepared for our arrival and breakfast somewhat underwhelming.
To start with at 3.30 AM the taxi did not turn up. I received a phone call from Shearings/Ledger at 3.50 and they ordered another taxi. When the taxi came the driver wanted me to pay him. The driver was told to go to Darlington to pick up two more passangers then go to Scots corner. The driver then got a phone call to tell him not to go to Darlington but go straight to Scots corner. When we got to Scots corner the driver did not know where to go. From my experience I told him where he should go. When we got to France the overnight hotel check in was pandemonium. The breakfast time was terrible they did not have things or ran out of things and the coffee machine brokedown. The days out where alright but on one there was a flight of stairs to climb and a steep uphill bank. On another day out to a lake you had to walk on unsuitable footpaths. I think the above mentioned conditions should be stated in the holiday brochure. The coach and drivers where O K. the hotel and meals where nothing special.
enjoyed holiday but to much traveling would liked to spent more time andorra
The drivers were great. The hotel was adequate but the food was not good as all the meals were cold buffet style. The place itself and the trips were lovely. But unfortunately the food let it down.
The very worse. Travelling time not acceptable. Hotel catering staff EXTREMELY rude, food not 4Star! Arrived at one town during siesta, all shops closed!! Bored stiff same goes for a walk along a river IN THE HEAT! This was time killing!. The drivers were first class couldn’t have done any better 4 stars to them.
Happy with the holiday except the dining room staff at hotel who were miserable and surly. Food at dinner was poor. We were told we only had 45 minutes to eat a three course meal in the dining room before being rudely hurried out. Loved Andorra, two drivers were great. No complaints on that side.
In terms of service our hotel was not really of a standard that we would expect. The food was good but we were under pressure to eat and leave the dining room within a certain time. The sun terrace of the hotel was untidy with plants left without water so they were dying, and weeds that were coming through the paving slabs. The drivers however worked hard to solve problems.
