I am in NZ. i have tried to be enrolled in this course through Impac. three times, they refused to allow me to enrol. the fact i have a postgrad dip, i run my own business, i created my own HS system in to a comprehensive app, i create the policy, i train it, i audit it and i have put together a Team of trained HSR trainees. 1x is about to become a HSR 2IC. i am the HSR. neither my academic achievement nor my practical experience was acceptable to impac. they told me the prerequisite to the Dip Level6 was the Nebosh Certificate. Then they told me they would not be revisiting this. by comparison, Leah followed Nebosh recommendations. Now I am enrolled in the Dip Level6. I am happy. and excited. i wont let you down.

Signing up to SHEilds to complete my NEBOSH diploma was so straightforward and seamless thanks to Leah who was a pleasure to deal with. I completed my NEBOSH fire through SHEILDS Ltd as part of my ITCAREERSWITCH enrolment. I really liked the software and UI. The short tests help consolidate learning and the whole experience is very user friendly but appears pricier then some other options but you are paying for the quality. I never really utilised the tutor much as it involved going through a call center and pressing different things id rather just directly message them or email them with a dedicated tutor.
booking the exam was easy theres only certain times of the year you can book it i thing 4 times from memory and the exam is very intense. Do not make my mistake of thinking the word limit is a hard boundary i found out after its a guideline.

I wish they would let you have permanent access to that version of the course as it expires after sometime and is removed so make sure you save all your notes.

The theory are well explained and the workers are real professionals.

I'm currently studying for my NEBOSH IDIP with SHEilds UK as an online student, and I have to say, the experience so far has genuinely impressed me.
The learning portal is where SHEilds really stands out. It's clean, easy to navigate, and everything I need — study materials, recorded lectures, guidance on exam assessments — is right there without having to hunt around. As someone juggling full-time work with study, that kind of simplicity makes a real difference.
What I appreciate most is the built-in question-and-answer system. Being able to ask something directly within the portal and get a proper, thoughtful response makes the whole learning process feel supported rather than isolated, which matters a lot when you're studying remotely.
Their customer service deserves a special mention too. Whenever I've emailed them with a query or an issue, the response has come back quickly, and always with a clear, helpful answer rather than a generic one. The coordination between the academic side and the support team is strong, and communication never feels like it's falling through the cracks.
The real proof for me, though, was passing both my DI 1 and DI 2 assessments in my first attempt. I put that down directly to the quality of their guidance and how well-structured their study materials are — they don't just give you content, they prepare you to actually apply it under exam conditions.
With 24 years of HSE field experience and training with a fair number of providers over the years, I can honestly say SHEilds has one of the most well-organized and student-friendly systems I've come across. If you're considering the NEBOSH IDIP as an online student, I'd recommend them without hesitation.

Logging in to begin with has been uncomplicated and support when I needed help has been there.

Receiving the final confirmation that I passed both units was an incredible feeling of relief and triumph. What many labeled as one of the hardest entry professional qualifications became proof of discipline, effective strategy and not forgetting massive support from Hall (SHEilds Training Consultant). Passing the NEBOSH IGC didn't just earn me a globally respected credential, it completely transformed how I evaluate and protect human safety in any workplace environment.

Having read the comments from my online tutor (desk based) and the comments back from SHields, and seeing other reviews there is a positive and non positive comments regarding the company. This a company I sent many of my staff to complete the course, now removed from my approved vendors seems more like a money focus and not student success.

I had a last- minute issue submitting my Nebosh exam, I panicked and sent Shaharazad whatsApp message, she replied right away. She made sure I got help and the clear guidance took so much stress off me. I submitted my exam successfully and on time, she's very proffessional, responsive and care about student's success. I thought joining online course of health and safety would be very hard for me buh I was allocated a supervisor called shaharazad ,the whole work was made easier than I thought

having completed my DN papers I have had closing interviews with the Sheilds personnel, one said to me 'do you not think you are too old to be doing this course' and the other one told me to 'watch my tone' when I asked him to stop repeating the questions he was putting to me and give me time to answer. I explained he did not require to keep repeating the questions to me and patronising me while doing so and let me answer his questions he was asking , we got there in the end, but the closing personnel really need to understand the time and effort students like I put into such papers and the content within them can be vast, asking students questions on specific items in the scenario does not bear well when the scenario has multiple answers to their 'specific ' questions set by the scenario given, to ask whether someone is ' too old to do a course' and for another to tell them to 'watch their tone' when THEY are not being clear and concise with THEIR questions is very rude to say they least and very unprofessional and also very degrading and patronising to a student who has put in so much effort to try and pass this very difficult paper.
