Everything worked as predicted so I am both greatly impressed and greatly relieved. Constant reference to security is reassuring of course. All in all Shieldpay is now a method I will trust.

Like so many other reviewers, I was sceptical of a sudden email asking for my bank details! I came on here, read all the positive reviews and, still remained unsure. Rang Millberg who confirmed it was legitimate. I put the details of a lesser used account down in case I was going to be scammed and, sure enough, one week later £1200 was deposited into the account. It would have helped if the initial email came from Millberg but I think I'd have still carried out those checks! Can't fault shieldpay!

There's not much to say. The payment was hassle-free, transparent, and virtually invisible until the payment appeared in my current account

I was concerned about the link that went straight to my personal banking but was given an alternative that I was more comfortable with

I have emailed both milberg and shield pay for a breakdown of the payment awarded from the VW claim scandal. Neither company have responded in any way . I find the lack of transparency alarming, how they can put an amount in your bank without any financial statement is worrying to say the least. I want to know how much I was awarded and how much commissions/expenses were taken and by whom, anything less is conformation that something is being hidden from the public.

I got my money in my bank ac in 4 days ref My VW emissions scandal. I just want to reassurance all people that shield pay is not a scam.

Great experience, fast, proficient and very helpful. Funds arrived into my account within 4 day of Shieldpays email, would highly recommend this company.

I was very dubious about receiving an email requesting my banking details. I contacted milberg directly regarding my Audi claim. They confirmed I would receive a request from shield pay. However I done as requested an verified my banking details. Once confirmed with my bank it directed me straight back to the confirm you details page, Then absolutely nothing. No confirmation email or instructions as to what will happen next, or When I should expect my compensation claim to be paid. This is very poor from such a large company and does not fill me with confidence that I will actually receive my payment.

I have just gave shieldpay access to my banking app after they sent me an email saying Milberg want to pay me money for the vw emissions scandal. I am just wondering if this is all legit?.

Having gone through the scary bank detail’s scenario which I was extremely uncomfortable with .At the end it said my claim would be paid into my account , 10days on no money Iv sent numerous emails and rang the helpline. Cannot get through to anybody. The customer service is appalling!!!
Update . since my review I was contacted be a lovely lady and she has assured me my claim will be paid by Friday so fingers crossed. I’d still say they need to improve the way the contract you . I hope this helps anyone not sure.

I knew to expect an email from yourselves but am now so scared of people being able to read my emails wasn’t prepared to trust the site was real!!!! Then when it took me through to my bank to read the details it asked me to enter my user name and at that point I freaked as we are told that is a Nono and went back a page and selected the option of putting in my bank details as they are already probably out there.

Fast and simple safe process executed with no fuss.

Salim was really helpful. Sheildpay were nominated to handle my payout. Have me peace of mind when I questioned their involvement. Have since been paid. Really smooth transaction.

Like lots of other people I was very wary of giving Shieldpay my bank details after Millberg told me they were paying my compensation claim - so many scams around these days.

So I checked them out thoroughly first by speaking to my bank to ask advice, they told me to check them on the FCA website using their office address and yes they were on there. I also spoke to Millberg to double check their details and rang Shieldpay myself using the number Millberg gave me to make sure they were real!

I think the reason why so many people are nervous, like myself, is that Shieldpay ask you to use their online portal to log into your online banking - nobody should ever do this as it leaves you open to fraud. Instead the alternative method of you just giving your bank details and providing a screenshot of a recent bank statement is fine, I checked this out with my bank also first, they said it was fine to do this.

Even so I was worried and a bit anxious after providing my details but there was no need to worry - the money was in my bank within a few days! I am so happy and pleased… and relieved!! Thank you so much Millberg and Shieldpay!!

My claim was dealt with expeditiously and professionally
I would recommend that this company deal with any claims my friends may have in the future

Amazing and fast customer service!!! Very efficient said my payment would be 7 days , it was 4 days!!!

I received an email saying they wanted to verifie my bank account for a payment from millburg, I was so uneasy about the process to allow them my bank information, I googled sheildpay I read reviews and still I was nervous,so reluctantly I allowed it on 17th Jan today 19th Jan the money was in my account, so very happy, but 1 word of advice sheildpay please find a better way to verify accounts it really did make me anxious and I nearly didn't go through with it and I'm not the only 1,but thank you millburg and thank you sheildpay 😊
