After walking relentlessly round every shop in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham, I finally came across Shinning Diamonds. I immediately felt welcome and at ease by the warm welcome received in the shop. I wanted a bespoke ring to be made for a special birthday of mine, with a long tick-list of wants and an extremely tight deadline! Jasmine came to the rescue! An extremely warm and helpful lady who went above and beyond to make this possible for me. I was kept informed every step of the way with messages and telephone calls, nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this store (especially Jasmine!) and would definitely return. In fact, our son is due to propose to his girlfriend and is now going to visit this shop upon our recommendation 🥰

I ordered a custom-length tennis bracelet from Shining Diamonds in December 2024, expecting a luxury, bespoke experience. The bracelet arrived many months later and didn’t fit, despite clear sizing communicated from the start. I was told it could be adjusted, but I had to pay for return shipping and international delivery — even though the error was not mine.

When the bracelet was finally shipped back after adjustment, it came with a second unexpected customs charge, which I refused. Now, the bracelet is lost in transit and I have been left with nothing: no product, no refund, no answers.

The bracelet also came without certification or paperwork and felt low quality — not what you’d expect from a brand claiming to deliver “care, integrity, and attention to detail.” Customer service has been slow and dismissive throughout. A truly disappointing experience.

We went in to discuss getting a custom engagement ring made and Tara understood exactly what I was after. She arranged for a design to be drawn up before it was made so we had full control of how the ring would look. The ring was finished before she said it would be and was delivered to our door. Very impressed with the service. Tara made the whole process so easy and went above and beyond.

There aren't enough words to praise how amazing Shining Diamonds, particularly Eleanor, were in creating my unique engagement ring. We had a bit of an unusual design which Eleanor was so enthusiastic about and went the extra mile to find a workshop that would be up for the challenge. She supported us throughout the process with great communication and style suggestions for the ring. It never felt 'salesy' (like some of the other shops!) and always felt like she really understood what we wanted. Plus her feminist literature chat is first-class! I am THRILLED with the ring. Can't recommend highly enough!

We went to London only looking at styles of rings to get an idea, Clarice, the manager was outside, we asked for some advice and she was excellent, not pushy or wanting a sale just there for us, that day we designed and ordered our ring, it was made and delivered to a very high standard with no delays or problems. Thank you Clarice, we love the ring.

Charlie was very informative, professional and helped support me with getting exactly what I wanted in the design of my purchase. Very flexible towards my pricing needs. The turnaround in getting my ring made was super quick compared to many places I had been shopping around with also. Communication throughout was great and thankfully discreet to not spoil the surprise.
