The most disgusting display of customer service

Truly the most disgusting display of customer service I have ever experienced with a company in my entire life. They refused to forward my parcel through the shop & ship service and it sat at the NZ Aramex Depot for nearly 2 months. I raised 3 cases that were closed without contact, I contacted Aramex probably 40 times via email and phone with no response and Aramex refused to help me. If it wasn't for a completely different company organising to pick up my parcel for me and ship it privately, I still wouldn't have it this day. The experience with this company has left an awful taste in my mouth. If I can encourage anybody to not use SHOP AND SHIP or ARAMEX entirely, I will. Appalling service they should be ashamed.

SCAM NEVER USE

2/ I contacted support every single day, and they’ve told me “it will arrive today” FOUR TIMES.
Not once was that true.
The tracking still says:

“Shipment is being processed and on the way to next destination.”

3/ I’ve asked multiple times for:
• The actual location of my shipments
• A real delivery date
• An explanation of what’s happening

Instead, I get copy-paste replies and false promises.

4/ This isn’t a small issue — I’m not the only one.
Check their replies and reviews:
Delayed shipments, no accountability, and ignored complaints seem to be a pattern.

5/ If I don’t receive an update within 24 hours, I will:
• Post this across all social platforms
• File a complaint with Jordan’s Consumer Protection Unit
• Leave full details on Trustpilot and Google Reviews

6/ Aramex claims to be a reliable logistics provider — but this level of service is a joke.

stay away and do not use

they get your order delivered with no issues once in every 10 occasions, i still can't believe how terrible their service is and why on earth i trusted them with my order once again.
This time the order took 46 days to arrive, if i had it delivered by a horse it would have been faster.

NEVER. EVER. AGAIN.

Shop and Ship lost my package

Shop and Ship lost my package, said it was a bulk delivery, which it wasn't. Even if it was a bulk delivery, why did they accept it? They don't say anywhere they don't accept bulk deliveries. This is only the latest of several times they have lost or misplaced packages and claim they were delivered to me or that they never had them. 1.4* average rating is 1.4 stars too many.

Worst company ever—AVOID

So, for the 8th time in 1.5 months, shop and ship lost my package, and is refusing to refund me because they say it was a “bulk delivery.” Well, no 1, it wasn’t. And number 2, why do they accept bulk shipments if they lose them all? They’re demanding proof of delivery, which I provided, but then they came back and said they needed *signed* proof of delivery, which eBay (where I shopped( doesn’t provide. How convenient, huh? If this wasn’t lost package no *8*, I wouldn’t bother. But this is just too absurd.

⭐ My First and Probably Last Experience with Shop & Ship – A Complete Disappointment

I recently used Shop & Ship (Aramex) for the first time to bring a product from India to Sharjah, and unfortunately, the entire experience was frustrating, mentally exhausting, and deeply disappointing.

❌ Poor Communication & Sudden Document Demands
Before ordering, there was no communication about needing special documents like a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) or a Non-Dangerous Goods Certificate. But once the product reached their India facility — and they realized it was of higher value — I was suddenly flooded with emails demanding documents.
First, they asked for the invoice, which I promptly uploaded.
Then, they demanded an MSDS and Non-Dangerous Goods Certificate. My seller was kind enough to provide the MSDS, but informed me that he couldn’t provide the certificate unless I gave him a format — because they don’t ship internationally and don’t normally issue this.
I emailed Shop & Ship to provide the format. Instead of sending it quickly, they took 24 hours just to reply that “our India team will get back to you.” But instead of any real help, another 24 hours later, they sent me a threatening email saying:
“You have 24 hours to submit the certificate or your shipment will be discarded.”
Even though the delay was entirely from their side, they showed zero empathy, no professionalism, and ignored the context. I had to scramble to manage it all myself, using a certificate sample from another shipment, convincing the seller to create one, and finally got the documents cleared.

⚠️ Overcharging & Weight Manipulation

Now comes the hidden trap — their shipping charges. They advertise weight-based billing (actual or volumetric), but my product — even with full packaging — weighed 158g. When it arrived to me, I measured again and found it 158g max.
Yet Shop & Ship billed it as 240g, and I was forced to pay accordingly.
Along with this, they also added unjustified service charges, which were never clearly explained.

🚩 Ridiculous Customs Charges

Here’s the shocking comparison:
I received a product directly from China, invoicing 200$ weighing around 6 kg in a 1ft x 1ft box — and paid just 16 AED as customs duty in UAE.
But for this tiny, 120g product, Shop & Ship charged me 20 AED in customs — more than a 6 kg shipment!

The lack of logic, fairness, and consistency in their pricing is truly appalling.

❗ Final Thoughts:
My experience with Shop & Ship was a nightmare — poor customer support, unreasonable demands, overcharging, lack of transparency, and rude threats. This is not a service I would recommend to anyone.
They need to seriously rethink their customer handling, transparency, and internal communication. Until then, I will be avoiding them entirely, and caution others to do the same — especially if your shipment involves anything even slightly valuable or non-standard.

My delivery stuck for 5 months already

I've been waiting for a response for over five months regarding my shipment.

I placed an order for the delivery of clothing, and according to the tracking information, the package is stuck in one of your warehouses. Despite multiple attempts to contact Customer Support, the only reply I occasionally receive is that my message has been forwarded to the "relevant team" — with no further updates.

This delay is unacceptable. I’m reaching out publicly in hopes of finally resolving this issue.

High-Value Item, Permanently on hold?

Currently have a high-value item (2500 EUR) that has been placed 'on hold - high value item' in their France S&S location.

No instructions or email or anything with what to do next.

Submitted a 'request for help' through their website a few times and its just been closed with no reply, or ghosted with no response. Been a week now... not sure what to do.

Dont use this service - They DONT CARE

Dont use this service. They lost our parcel in their Tokyo warehouse, they've asked for proof of delivery, we've provided it and its clearly showing their warehouse receiving stamp on the receiver, but they kept saying they didn't receive the item or they don't have it. They won't just acknowledge that they've received and lost the parcel, very disappointing customer service - they don't care.

I really don't understand why all the negative reviews. I had great experience. I used their service many many times over the years. Yes, it can be expensive but there is a calculator that you can use to see the cost before placing an order. So it's your choice, it's not like it's a fraud or anything. I never saw a service that offer parcel forwarding for and from that many countries all around the globe especially Arab countries. Also, they do reply to emails. They might respond late and the package can get delayed if it contains flammable items and the employees can make it even more difficult to deal with the issue and even understand it (especially if your only contact method is using the email), but they are very helpful and very attentive and on the phone. That's why I always call them and prefer this method over using the email.

It's the first company in the region that have ever offered such a service and that's why I trust them. They know what they do.
I never had damaged goods due to their shipping practices. My only concern are these:
1. Their customer service on the email is not the best
2. It can be expensive
3. They don't help you in reducing the customs. I always pay very high customs using their service compared to other services.

Overpriced, Unresponsive, and Incredibly Slow – A 4-Week Nightmare from Italy to the UK

This is, without exaggeration, the worst shipping experience I’ve ever had—and I’ve ordered from halfway across the globe. I paid £63.53 for a 1.4 kg parcel from Italy to the UK. ITALY. TO. THE. UK. Not Australia, not the Moon—Italy. Yet somehow, it took these clowns over three weeks just to process the shipment after it arrived. I had to send my invoice three times because clearly reading emails is rocket science. Then it took over two weeks after dispatch to actually reach the UK, because they decided—on what must be a dare—to send it on a scenic route through Dubai. Dubai?! That’s not even remotely on the way. This was a logistical circus.

To add insult to injury, I got slapped with a £37.98 customs charge, £15 of which was an “admin fee.” Admin for what, exactly? For watching my parcel collect dust in a warehouse for weeks? For sending it around the world unnecessarily? Honestly, I could’ve booked a flight, hand-carried the parcel back myself, and still spent less time and money. I mean, I’ve gotten packages from the United States in under a week, and for a third of the cost.

Customer service? Non-existent. I emailed multiple times and was met with a wall of silence. Not even an automated response. If you want to feel like you’re screaming into a void, try reaching out to them.

And just when I thought it couldn’t get worse, the parcel showed up damaged. So after paying over £100 in shipping and customs alone—not counting the price of the item itself—I received a battered package, weeks late, with zero accountability. Oh, and their Terms & Conditions? A masterpiece in covering their own backs. They’ve essentially written themselves out of all liability for delays, damage, or complete failure to deliver. Convenient.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Trust the bad reviews—they are not exaggerating. This is a glorified scam wrapped in a shipping label.

Stay away

Stay away, there other companies that offer the same service but cheaper. I ordered the wrong part off Amazon and Amazon said they cannot return the part until it arrives. I called shop and ship and they said returning it would be no problem. Well it arrived today and I called and they said to return it they have to deactivate my account, but I cannot do that now because I have two more shipments arriving to my address so if I deactivate I will also lose out on those shipments. So basically my package is being held hostage by them and they are giving me no choice.

If I could give zero stars I would because the "service" isn't worth even a quarter of a star. Try signing up. Try getting a forgot password link even when you input the right password. Gah! Give it a miss and pay the extra for Aramex.
