Fantastic customer service from the outset. Working quickly, with creative ideas and capacity to think and deliver beyond the brief I’ve been extremely impressed. Highly recommended for small businesses.

I started working with Shopblocks as a Personal trainer and wanted a platform that would give me an online presence. My website was quickly built and had a very professional finish which is what I was looking for.

The best thing for me personally was the support that shopblocks offered, as I'm not very good with these sort of things there help was invaluable to me and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else in the same position.

Just want to say that to a total novice like myself, Shopblocks have been brilliant in both setting up my site and helping me post launch. Nothing is to much trouble, even though they must get frustrated with my lack of basic knowledge. Great people to deal with all round but a big shout out for Ibrahim and Jamie

I am a Shopblocks customer. On the 11th May 2020 I raised the issue that customer invoices generated by online orders do not include a breakdown of discount codes/loyalty points/card payments. How can my customers reconcile their card statements? This was raised with your development team on the 12th May 2020 and the response was that you were inline with HMRC and therefore it wasn't going to be fixed anytime soon. Can I suggest that you check HMRC and get this fixed ASAP.

Launched a brand new online ordering system with shopblocks for my cafe last week. Was all competed in 3 days and meant we could do Sunday dinner delivery for Mother’s Day, which was fully booked until we hav to close. Still had to reduce staff but means we can stay open now. Customers all said the loved the new website as well. Thanks shop blocks

Our new Shopblocks site went live 2 weeks ago having moved from Magento 1.9. The team have been amazing, especially completing our data migration (we have 50k products so a big job). We had been quoted 10x what the new site has cost to move to Magento 2 so it’s been a massive saving for the business as well.

The design tool is very cool tech, and we’ve managed to get the exact new design we wanted. Had a few requests that required some custom features and Ben added them within 24 hours of our requests.

Whole move has taken under 5 weeks!

Would recommend Shopblocks to anyone, especially UK businesses.

March 2021 update
Had enough and left Shopblocks. Failed payments, polite but useless support, failed promises, excessive downtime, simply awful.

If I convince even just one potential customer to give them a miss, I'll be happy.

You've been warned.

"Disappointed" does not fully describe my experience. I am fuming!

Shopblocks looks good, it is easy to use, flexible and has some nice features. But the reality is that the software is riddled with bugs and downtime is incredibly regular. We have lost £100s if not £1000s in lost sales due to the site not working or sometimes, it appears to be working but customers can't order.

Customer discounts often don't work.

The site took a payment from a customer 3 times. I have yet to receive a reply as to what they have done to resolve this bug.

You want to print a delivery note? Forget it.

You want to put in a manual order? Well? Expect the customer name not to show on the invoice.

You want customer delivery requests to show on the invoice? Forget it.

You want to stop customers ordering more that you have in stock? Forget it.

As you are reading this on Trustpilot, you might wish that your Shopblocks website would integrate with Trustpilot. Well, you can forget that. They are not interested, I asked.

So much more .... If you want a quiet, stress-free life, avoid Shopblocks like the plague! You've been warned.

Edit 23/10/20 - getting worse. There has been ongoing payments issues for over 2 weeks, orders coming in and system not advising me, customers paying twice as they think the orders didn't go through, orders not in customer accounts. Today's issue is that I can no longer refund from within the site and notify the customer.

Every day a new issue.

Just getting from bad to worse.

I have asked for a statement from Senior Management regarding these ongoing serious issues and nothing has been received.

Shopblocks have been a refreshing change in a confusing industry. Fantastic support throughout and helpful direction when needed. We are delighted with our new website and the ease of use - having tried many others before. Highly recommended.

Shop blocks have been a massive help with the building of our website. They are extremely responsive when it comes to assisting with any issues etc.
It's quite easy to use when you want to make changes to your page but can sometimes be a bit restrictive when it comes to where you want to place things, due to the block design of their platform. This is a minor issue as any problems I have not been able to resolve myself have quickly been sorted by their team. I would highly recommend ShopBlocks to anyone.

On the whole we are very happy with the end result - much improved on our old Squarespace site. Hamza has been super helpful (and patient!) with our requirements and has made all changes we have asked for with a very fast turnaround. Only quibble I would have is that we were shown a couple of features on the original demo (online calculators) and were led to believe these were produced by Shopblocks and available to us. Then when we asked for them to be featured on our site, we were told that they were not actually built by Shopblocks so there may be an issue. They have managed to add some of what we wanted so we are satisfied with that but a little disappointed about how it was originally sold to us. Overall excellent value for money and we are told we make make small changes without extra charge so glad we made the change.

I have an ambivalent review to unpack because I think Shopblocks has been a mixture of good and bad experiences. Generally speaking, as a platform for building your own layout and design, it is a little quirky to use, with a menu system that may indeed be easy to use for those who designed it. This is especially frustrating without having a recourse to any video tutorials for some of the complexities of text formatting and image control.
They have a great product indeed but it lacks the kind of on-line tutorial support that is absolutely necessary for those who want to take full control over their website design. The current provision of tutorials is somewhat basic.
Jake and team have been very supportive and I have persevered over the months..
I keep arriving at the question while I'm working on my site .. 'How do I do this?' and it is at that point my site development STOPS.
If you're thinking of using Shopblocks I strongly suggest you rely on a web designer familiar with their platform...

4 reasonable deadlines missed, here we are in December, services paid for in August - not provided!

I agree with Matt below, same experience with cold-call. They promise an easy to manage website and answer all questions with good answers but don't follow through on their word. We will be arranging for a full refund.

Do not give this company your card info. They took the full amount and 3 monthly payments for hosting of a website that is not even ready, due to their delay.

We provided everything they asked for, the images and descriptions are all mis-matched. The website is a complete mess.

Promises are made from this company and not kept, they do not even call when they say they will. We were hoping to stay with this company for the long term but have lost trust in them.

Shopblocks have been amazing from start to finish, despite our constant demands! We have had our website built from scratch by the company and have had an outstanding experience. Hamza in particular was the most professional, patient person I think I have ever dealt with! He has done a fantastic job. This service was worth every penny. We are excited to develop our company and build our brand with his great e-commerce platform .
