So bull crap... this was horrible... people told me I had. A job but didn't state I needed to add my own funds into all the time.. I didn't have it atm so she told me pretty much good bye she was keeping what I worked for and when I asked to close my account down she insisted that she was going to give it to other people to use my account

They canceled my very important international order and PLUS had the audacity to disable my account! When a company treats you like a criminal for shopping online they deserve to not operate anymore. Online shopping is such a relaxing and fun experience and they turned it into a nightmare. Absolute trash company.

I got contacted after I answered an ad for work from home for seniors. It’s a WhatsApp number that someone connects with you and you get online and do 38tasks per day and get the commission. The one thing that bothers me is that you have to pretend you’re buying the product with your money and then the commission and investment is refunded. There are products that show up that are $200-$2000 US and you better have that amount otherwise you’ll be stuck unable to take out your commission or avoid that product to get to the next. I don’t know if anyone else has been contacted.

What a scamm! I paid $444 in import dutie fee deposit to Shopbob.
Upon my return of the item I did not get the the import fees refunded. Respons: I should check with my OWN customs. How? If this is YOUR service ( prepaid import duties ) then you should also refund the import duties that I paid to YOU! And YOU should take care of it.

After my complaint and bad review I got an additional mail the next day. They would refund me the import duties after all. The payment was there right after. Hope this proces will be automated in the future. I order from foreign countries a lot and this is the first time that pre-paid import duties where not refunded. I am very happy they decided to refund me after all!

Seems like this is a similar complaint with other shoppers. Purchased a sweater and it was never shipped. Tracking number provided indicated that the sweater/shipment was never forwarded to UPS. After a call to customer service (eight days after the order), the sweater is "no longer available". While I was offered a refund; I had to initiate the process. I was rewarded a $20 coupon, for what, another item that will never ship? No thanks.

I have ordered a pair of shoes on this webiste which they claimed could be delivered in 3-4 days... 14 days later and I still haven't received anything. It seems the package is stuck with UPS, their carrier. No news either from Shopbop or UPS about what's happening with my package and when I am going to receive it. I will never order again on this site.

1 star as there's no option of rating any less. This company is a total "scam". A representative with the name "Nora" contacted me with a job offer. After she pitched her offer vis WhatsApp, she got all antsy with me over as she was lost in translation over a question I posed her. I'm so glad we hit a roadblock and she blocked me else I would have opened an account with a scammer. Please be wary all job seekers/ shoppers on this site as they are running a racket!!

I read all the reviews and chose to ignore them. And now I am paying the price.
They promise to ship the same day / following day. And also promise a speedy delivery ie. 2-3 days.
It’s been 5 and my package has not even left the senders country.
I contacted shopbob staff, ongeziwe N and Hery responded and said they cannot trace the package and cannot cancel it.
They went onto say they are unable to locate the package. Which is crazy since it’s their company and their logistics provider.
Still unwilling to cancel and refund.
Complete scam.

The customer service is NOT interested in helping you at all. Just repeats the same thing over and over and wants you to give up and hang up the phone instead of TRYING (at least) to resolve your case. Very disappointed and will not be returning.

I have been a customer of shopbop since 2016, and having lived in several countries - the UK, Singapore, Malaysia, Estonia and the UAE I have not encountered any issue at all. It used to be SUPER QUICK deliveries, prompt customer service replies and had my full confidence in shopping online and getting the best deals.
I had placed an order last week and had encountered issues recalling my password, which essentially locked me out of the platform. Had emailed service@shopbop multiple times to which I received no response. Finally called the US number (which drove my phone bill up) to only be led to another email address. Emailed with my issue and finally received a response - however with them assuming my account was compromised and them immediately closing my account, without me agreeing to?
Finally resolved by confirming with them that it was simply my own doing of locking myself out and my account was not compromised. What a waste of time and resources to get me to this point. Do better, shopbop

I ordered a bag. Order was confirmed via email, and charged to my card briefly before being reversed. I received a second email informing me that the order was cancelled. No explanation given. I called customer support and all they could tell me was that the order was cancelled, because they can -- at their discretion -- refuse to provide service, terminate accounts, etc. You know, just like literally any business on the planet could do, but most businesses don't arbitrarily refuse service without some sort of reasonable communication.
After waiting on hold, I was transferred to a second customer service agent who told me that he "wasn't able to give me any other information."
There was no way to escalate to a manager. This was a really frustrating experience. I wouldn't shop here even if I could (apparently I can't, since it looks like they've also suspended my account for whatever mysterious reason that they won't explain at all.) It makes me wonder if this is even a real store, but who knows.
I strongly urge anybody reading this not to bother wasting your time setting up an account, adding your shipping details and payment information, since their customer service was wildly unhelpful. 20 minutes of my life I'll never get back. I'd give them 0 stars if I could. Terrible experience over all.
Update - they don’t seem to mind sending me promotional emails, despite cancelling my order and my account without explanation as previously described. Super annoying.
I have responded to the TrustPilot request for more information. Will provide further updates if anything comes of it.

Really surprised at the super fast shipping from US to UK (4days from order confirmation to delivery). Ordered Clare V bags (sold out models) and got them discounted in Labour Day sales and with free shipping. Even with the taxes/duty paid upfront it worked out cheaper than buying directly from the UK shop due to exchange rate and (£400 per bag vs £250) I paid.
I was a bit dubious about purchasing from Shopbop with the many negative reviews but the products are genuine and in faultless condition. I think they only stock a few items of each model and I love that you can find sold out older models if you’re lucky.

Honestly I was super impressed with the delivery time to Australia but that's where the positives end.
My item did not match the website description - pants a different length to that stated - and the customer services person told me that the length was specific to a certain size and because I had purchased a different size it would obviously be different! Erm, there is nothing obvious about that! So they are telling me that the bigger waist you have the taller you would be?!! On top of this, on each of 5 emails I'm told I am welcome to return and I will be refunded according to the return policy, with no actual resolve of my query regarding my items which did match the item description.
Customer service is absolutely horrendous - treating the customer like they are fools. I even stated that the designer themselves only have 2 length available in these pants and absolutely do not vary with waist size, to which again I was told can return and I will be refunded according to the returns policy.
I asked for my query and request to be escalated to the next level of management numerous times and yet again I got the you are welcome to return and you will be refunded according to refund policy!
I know my consumer rights as a purchaser from an online retailer. If a purchase does not meet the description, it is misleading a customer for the intent of taking money from them and it is false advertising. All illegal. It should not cost me money to return such a product.
Don't be fooled by a response telling you to respond to their email as though they are going to fix any of the complaints on this page. I see no messages saying that their issue was resolved in a positive way by shopbop. Again, it is treating their customer like they are an idiot.
So frustrating - save yourself the hassle of dealing with these people and purchase from elsewhere. It will cost you!

I returned the items that didn't fit in size. It arrived at the Shopbop.com warehouse on July 28. according to their rules, money is refunded within 5 days. Still have not received the refund from them. I write an email every day. Sometimes they answer that they will return soon, sometimes they don't answer at all. they completely ignore. I don't know where to complain Please help
