*Update to original review. After several more phone calls to customer service, my finace was FINALLY able to connect with someone willing to help him. His name was Richard and he was the only helpful person he spoke to. After explaining the entire saga to him, Richard was able to approve his order, which I received yesterday. We'd like to thank Richard for his patience and help. Maybe he should train the others, who insisted that we "shop somewehere else."
My fiance was trying to place an order for a birthday gift for me. He was having issues with the payment process, specifically entering the billing address, due to being in a foreign country (Morocco). He called and spoke to customer service, and not 1, but 2 different "customer service" agents told him to "SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE". What kind of customer service is this?? He was finally able to figure out how to enter the billing address online, and shortly after, received an email saying they would not process his order. He called to speka to someone and was told that "it's their policy", and that he didn't meet their inspection standards. He tried in vain to explain to them that he was trying to send a gift to his fiance in the U.S. and was trying all day to get someone to help him, and was told to shop elsewhere. I told him no way on earth will we buy something from a company like this. It feels alot like racism and discsrimination to me, and I would not allow anyone I know to use this company. I'd love for someone to explain to me, in what universe is it OK for a customer service rep to tell a person who is depsarately trying to make a purchase that they will not serve them, and they need to take their business elsewhere. I hope they go bankrupt.

One star is too high. Ordered aftershave supposedly from perfume shop only to find was being delivered from China. Not delivered and emails being rejected when I’ve chased up. Absolute scam and will pursue refund via credit card.

My account was wrongfully inactivated on my first order?? Didn’t know it was inactivated until 3 days after trying to get into my account to see my shipping updates. Contacted them the first time & was told I won’t receive an email for them canceling my order 125736127 ?? It’s been almost two weeks and I STILL haven’t received my money back. Work on your horrible customer service, will never purchase from Shopbop again.

I shopped for a Jacket on Dec 26th to ship to Mexico and got it by Jan 4th with no incidents, everything was perfect, and I loved the product and the service overall. I didn't need to contact them, make any returns, etc. so I can't review based on those needs.

Not a full refund at all! They don’t give you the full price of what you paid. I was given only a partial refund, I had paid $220 only a few weeks ago and today received $151 as my return — what an absolute scam and disgrace of a company. I had to pay for shipping despite the top of the website saying it was free shipping and returns, taxes were not refunded, and the conversion was less today than 3 weeks ago when I purchased so I paid extra to whom and for what? I will resolutely not be supporting this company in the future, first and last purchase here.

It is supposed to be free delivery and free return for Canadian customers….NOT!
In very little characters you will learn that the import and duties are not refundable when you make a return. For example, if you buy 270 us $, you will pay 90 us$ for import/duties/taxes. When you return your item, they reimburse only 270 us$… they keep the 90 us$ of taxes!!
So let say that the return is not free at all and very expensive !

Shopbop sent me the incorrect size of shoes I ordered. Of course by the time I received my order and found I had been sent the wrong size, my correct size had sold out so can't even re-order. Extremely frustrating after I waited months for my size to restock on the site. To make things worse, I had to deal with the inconvenience of returning and obtaining a refund for the incorrect item that was sent. Two weeks after my return was given to UPS I'm still waiting for a refund. Tracking shows the return was received 12 days ago and nothing from Shopbop. This is not the first time I've received the wrong item from them, but their customer service used to be great so I wasn't affected very much. This time I'm left worrying that I'll never receive my $500 back. I will never order from Shopbop again.

I returned all of my items back to Shopbop with the original order confirmation email included in the box as instructed. The package was delivered back to Shopbop's dock on Wednesday November 1 @ 8:28am and received by Reynolds. Its been nearly a month and I have not received my refund. I contacted for updates and they would not even give me an estimated timeline. Their customer service is rude and unhelpful and they are a lying company. I saw someone else had the same issue and filed a complaint with the FTC, I will be doing the same and I encourage anyone reading this with the same issue to also file one so that Shopbop will be held accountable. Buyers Beware - only buy from Shopbop if you are 100% certain about keeping your items, otherwise you lose the items and lose your money!

Item was advertised as $160. Checked if it was in the correct currency and didn’t change at all even upon checkout .
There is no currency converter so you assume it is correct price.
I have now noticed on my bank statement the transaction is an extra $120.
No help from Shopbop at all . The item would have been cheaper in Australia .

I had emailed and gotten confirmation numerous times that i wouldn't be charged for DHL shipping for returning my item as i had used my own. I supplied the tracking & the links of the carrier who was AUSTRALIA POST !! Guess what i was still charged the DHL shipping of $35 and now trying to get this money back for a service clearly didnt use is going to be a nightmare. where are the notes?? can your people not see ahhh it's not in DHL packagings ?!?!?! OFC bc its AMAZON OWNED

While my item arrived quickly, it doesn’t really matter because returning the item would cost more than half of what I paid for it 😂 They’ve got to find a way to ship from the UK or EU so that it doesn’t cost us an arm and a leg to return otherwise what’s the point of using them?
Trying to get information out of their customer account service team was tough too. Felt like they just kept copying and pasting sections of the website that I’d already read, without properly reading or answering my questions.
All in all not a bad experience on the ordering side of things, but returns and dealing with customer service was disappointing.

The item I bought was nothing like the photo. Instead of a warm drapey heavyweight sweater I got a cheap-looking thin synthetic. I returned it, but did not receive a refund. Been waiting for 2 weeks, and still nothing. My last communication with the store was me sending an inquiry and them asking which carrier I used (a return shipping label was generated automatically). It feels like have I not asked they would conveniently keep the money I’m trying to get back.

I have had great experiences with Shopbop and some that weren’t so good. I have received a skirt that was previously worn which they replaced immediately. And also ordered the last one of an item and they emailed me a week later and they no longer had it… had a few hiccups and also seamless so it’s really a toss up.

My worst experience at Shopbop. I ordered On Running shoes and I received them in bad condition. They did not look original at all. The shoes were torn and they tried to put glue on them! Yes, the glue is even not good with the glue. The glue is coming out of the shoes. They are new and bad. Their products are not original, according to what I received from On Running Shoes. I asked their customer service to refund me all the money and to bear the return because the problem is with the quality of the shoe and is not related to the fact that it is not my size. Or I did not like the problem with the poor quality and it was not like the picture either! I have not received a response yet. I do not recommend it at all!
