I recently had an interaction with Rose and Hays who has a Shopify store regarding a personalised gift, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. While the products themselves may look appealing online, the level of customer service provided by the owner, Emily, was quite off-putting.
I found the communication style to be unprofessional and surprisingly dismissive. There was a noticeable lack of humility when addressing my concerns, and the overall tone felt condescending rather than helpful. It is always a shame when a small business owner’s attitude makes the buying process stressful instead of enjoyable.
Based on the rudeness I encountered, I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending this shop to others who value respectful and friendly service.
Stop trying to take money after I cancel!
You are nothing but money grabbing scammers and you need to be closed down! No customer support! Only a chat that never connects! taking money after cancellation!??? If you attempt to take money from my account again I will seek legal advice and sue! Your days are numbered shopify!

The Review score clearly shows how bad this company is, they clearly don’t give a dam about people getting scammed as they appear to only host scammers. If I see any online shop that uses Shopify I will simply move on as it appears you will have an excellent chance it’s going to be a bad experience.
I do not understand why any reputable company would use this service when the reviews point to scams therefore, they will be tard with the same brush.

Horrific experience!!! my husband purchased a Konner & Sohen generator at the price of £1400 from Dimax. It turns out that they are based in Germany and communicating with them or trying to resolve an issue when the generator developed a fault after 10 months was a living nightmare. If you order in the uk, the company fulfilling the order should also be in the uk. We are off grid and the generator provides us with back up power, we have had no back up power since 18th December and NO-ONE CARES!!!! my husband has a muscle wasting condition and we have young children in the household. They have been messing us around over collection and expect me and my husband to load a 22kg generator onto the back of a lorry. sadly our magic carpet is out of action. My husband weighs 55kg and I have a hernia. We have had the generator checked by a uk company and dimax international GMBH could simply pay for the part to be fitted, but the wont. I think they will collect the generator and then try and imply that there are other issues that I cannot argue once they have the generator in their possession. The generator has only done 150 hours in 10 months and I feel that for it to fail already supports the fact that it is not fit for purpose and I should have received a refund, but buying through spotify has left me powerless to use my uk based consumer rights and trying to contact shopify is an absolute stress in itself. my advice is to buy local! Never again will I use either company

Is there a no stars!! As keen gardener I buy a lot of plants on line. Previously I’ve paid on card or PayPal. Now I find when I get to checkout it’s shop or guest, even when have account with company. Once you do that you can’t get out of it! You’re not in control, shopify is😬
I can no longer view my orders on line with some companies, it sends me straight to shopify. Companies ignore emails. I can name companies….but won’t at this point! I am now looking for suppliers that don’t use shopify!!!!!!

I will not order from any company that uses this app. Before the payment process they want information, ostensibly to verify that you are who you claim to be, backed by a OTP to your mobile. They are data gathering. There is no information on what they are doing with this data.
App scans your emails
Had an order for a company using these. Gets you to install an app and then scans you emails. If using google the security will alert you so you need to uninstall and change password.
Shopify/Shop is untrustworthy
Shopify/Shop has data of mine without my consent. I have never opened an account with them. Sometimes when I head to a checkout on a website who offer Shop payment (I would say try to force the customer to use it), my card details and other information pops up even though I have not provided it. As far as I am concerned they have stolen it. I am going to contact every website where this happens and let them know about this disgusting platform, hopefully if others do this their popularity with sellers will decline. Shop/Shopify stinks! I've already been on to them months ago and they assured me they would delete stuff. They are liars. However your own bank is able to delete the info and I will get onto them again for help. Give Shop/Shopify a swerve!
Ordered from Davorinex, Avoid Shop, Shopify and Davorinex at all costs. A more appropriate name for this company would be "Scamify", or "Shop Iffy" BUYER BEWARE!
We ordered a robot cat litter tray from a site called "Davorinex" in Latvia. I Never received a proper receipt. I Quickly realised that something was wrong with the sale. Looked on "Shopify" for assistance, and noticed immediately, that they are no help whatsoever if something goes wrong. The only option Shopify offers you, is to contact the scammer directly. Even if you try to report an issue with the order, they give an automated reply :-
"Your message has been forwarded to the merchant. To discuss this issue further, please contact the merchant directly."
Which is of course, a complete waste of time. A scammer will simply ignore your complaint, just the same as Shop / Shopify will. Fortunately, I contacted my bank and got the payment reversed within 24 hours.
My suspicions were confirmed when the item arrived, and far from being a robot cat litter tray, it was a small plastic button, about the size of a 5 pence piece. Essentially, the seller had ostensibly issued a tracking number, so the sale appeared genuine. Not Shopify's issue to be fair, but you aren't protected against scammers in any way, shape or form.
All Shopify do is take payment on the sellers behalf. Then they wash their hands of you. Comprehensively unsafe. AVOID Shopify or Davorinex.
Their complete lack of empathy, or response to the magnitude of bad reviews here, should tell you everything you needed to know about this company's ethics.
Do not trust this retail platform
Shopify should not be allowed to trade on the basis of the number of complaints from consumers, about fake/scams/untrustworthy retailers advertising their goods on their platform.

I don’t know why retailers use them “Shopify/Shop which are inextricably linked” as they don’t process refunds, their tracking is never updated properly and if the website using them happens to be a fake chinese e-commerce site (why do they let this happen a customers should be able to trust Shopify/Shop?) they wash there hands of it and you have to spend the time and go to your bank for a charge back. On three occasions I hit the wrong button when multi tasking and I purchased the item and didn’t get the chance to add the code and gift voucher meaning that I couldn’t cancel and had to send the goods back which is not good for the environment to transport. Why is there no additional step like all others. I am starting not to buy from companies who use this shambles of a service who always wash their hands of all responsibility and pass you back to the retailer when something with their own inadequate e-commerce payment process goes wrong. Get your act together “Shop” and think about the purchasing customer and not just your profits! Retailers please take note if this dire service that your customers are receiving as this must be harming your business!
