Far more Jubbly than Luvly!

I attended this auction a while back, I can't remember the exact date, with the intention of buying a low mileage older car.
When I initially arrived I watched from a distance as the vendor meticulously cleaned the vehicle I was interested in from front to back, & it did look immaculate!
When he finished & walked off I gave it a thorough looking at. It was in great shape. No leaks, interior was immaculate etc.
Eventually it was time to start bidding.
Unfortunately somebody was keener than I was & kept outbidding me. I leaned back & saw it was the guy cleaning the vehicle who was sticking his hand up, bidding on his own car!
I got the distinct impression that he was well known at the auction & was just left to get on with it.
Substantially more negative comments relating to this company can be found at Google reviews. I strongly suggest you go & check them out prior to buying from this lot, lol.

No following the legal process

We bought a range rover for over £45,000 from a company near where we live, my husband had requested a number of things be sorted upon agreement of sale. We traded our Discovery in against the car for £13,000. As soon as we received the range rover back from the car after they insisted the works had been carried out, we had more issues and some that made the car not fir to drive. By the time we had gone through all the relevant procedure had it privately assessed and then the finance company had it privately assessed we were nearly 9 months down the line. And all this time i was driving my two young daughters around in the car. Eventually because no one seemed bother after trading £13,000 car in and paying nearly £8,000 for finance in the 9 month period my husband refused to pay anymore for the car until we were taken seriously, (we now separately to this review have the finance ombudsman now dealing with the case with the finance company). Anyway back to this. Obviously the finance company did what they always do and one Saturday morning a tow truck arrived at our house to repossess the car. We didn't argue knowing we were fighting the case and we had requested originally that the car be swapped for like for like so this car being taken away was not an issue. Anyway we didn't get any paper work from the tow truck driver the car was removed within ten minutes and we had no idea where it was going etc. My husband however took a photo of the tow truck for our records.
Now please bear in mind we had no idea where the vehicle was going and all our paperwork for the vehicle was in the glove box,
Now nearly a year later, we have over £2,000 of fines, because i have found out since after doing my own investigation due to having bailiffs knocking on my door wanting to remove my property. After i started receiving paperwork through for speeding, parking and dartford charges dated 21st May 2021 onwards, that the vehicle which had been removed on the 18th march 2020 had gone straight to SHOREHAM VEHICLE AUCTION they did not" so they say" have the log book, they had it in their auction house for 2 months and then the vehicle was sold on the 19th May 2021, and they never again filled any paperwork in when they sold the vehicle which is a legal reasonability, and the vehicle has since been driven around, untaxed not insured or mot'd and racking up fines all over the place.
I have been asking Shoreham and the finance company to sort this situation for 4 months now and again yesterday and i had a bailiff at my door in front of my two young children giving 1 hour to come up with £400 or they were going to remove my property. I have spoken to and emailed Shoreham Auctions probably 10 times now and the finance company and neither of them with sort the situation out. Shoreham say the car was finance companies property when they sold it and finance company say that SHOREHAM was their agent so they expect them to take care of any paperwork.
I have spoken to the DVLA and Ombudsman and they both have reinforced i am completely in the right, so Thursday this week i for the final time sent both parties another email requesting that they put there heads together and sort this situation out, or i would start legal proceedings against them both. I gave them until 5pm yesterday to come back to me with a constructive email confirming they were sorting this situation.
And guess what 4.47pm Shoreham Auctions replied letting me know that even though over the last 4 months i have spoke to them countless times sent copies of the fines we have received through to them, and the ombudsman had previously assured me that Shoreham were going to sort the situation by email. Shoreham have decide that they will not be dealing with anything moving forward because they felt my email on Thursday was unreasonable.
I have looked into this company and it seems that they have sold vehicles that still have finance on them, they do not follow the law and when they are contacted about issues they do not care at all. I found Richard Dalwood The Operation manager, very very patronising, and loved the fact that when i made him to speak to the Bailiff the other morning under duress he tried to inform me he was doing me a favour. Wow so Mr Richard Dalwood i suggest you and the finance company sort these fines as Monday morning i am starting court proceeding.
