My order was packaged great and it came in a timely manner, so I was pretty happy with the order overall. But what would have made my order 5 stars instead of 4 was that I was expecting a slipcover on a movie that did not come with one.

Well the movies and prices were already great. Items came fast, packed well, all items in excellent shape. That was already a great experience. I love everything going on here. Ya know, Criterion cases look kinda neat all lined up on the shelf, but the artwork lacks most of the time and I guess that works for the hoity toity, Gone with the Wind, Crash (not Cronenberg's masterpiece) movie crowd. The covers on these Shout/Scream cases, on the other hand? These are the Gone in 60 Seconds, Dredd seeing another Rom-Com, Mad Prince/Princess of Darkness, Thing-Blob-Stuff, Night of the Living Basket Case kind of awesome. This earns my eternal patronage. The kicker? Getting one of the most generous apologies I've ever even heard of, all over a tote bag. I'm sold. Shout gets the rest of my movie-buying business forever. I'd pay extra, but it seems like I'm not even going to have to do that. So you win, Shout. Customer for life.

I was able to get the Blu Ray at a great price even with shipping. I appreciated the updates on tracking/shipping.

I'd leave less if I could. I put an order in over 10 days ago and it still hasn't shipped. I contacted 3 days ago and I still haven't heard from the store. My previous orders arrived with damage. There is no shortage of sites to get special edition movies from. I'd suggest buying from them.

Sweet sale netted me the Blu Ray of a very poor quality DVD I was looking to replace. Price was amazing given that this was a collection. Shipping was quick. Ordering painless. Watched Robotrix a previous night, and it was uncut, in its proper aspect ration and pristine.

Ordered during a sale for the first time, after a week inquired about when they expect shipping and they stated 5-15 business days. When I let them know its already been longer than the 5 business days if they had a estimate of when it would go out they stated they didnt but could refund me if I wanted to cancel. I then inquired how long a refund would take since it wouldn't make sense to cancel if the refund was going to take the same amount of time to go through as it would take to just ship it I never got a response.

Shout! Factory have always been terrific to purchase from.
This was from September, and I believe it was for MST3K DVD sets I did not have. They arrived in perfect condition.

good experience buying and shipping

Just hosted two weeks back to back horror movie marathons in my garage that I converted into a movie theater specifically for cult classic movies. Hosting was the perfect excuse to buy some movies again and Shout Factory was my first stop. Love the packaging and extra features. A true delight for any true fan of these movies/genres and a great price point.
