Tried to book on-line
Tried to book on-line - disabled client has a Disabled CEA Card which allows free ticket for carer to look after them - no option for this to book on-line and as can only book on-line at the moment - Can't book! - which is Discrimination to disabled people. Tried to Contact Bluewater line several times - just rings + costs 13p per minute - held on for 15 minutes but still just ringing, no reply from emails - will escalate complaint.
First time at Showcase
First time at Showcase.
Seats comfortable and clean. Very spacious cinema with loads of space between rows.
My tkt was only a fiver because it was a classic movie while they wait for fresh stuff to come out. The normal price will be much higher.
Showcase Cinema - Winnersh. Luxury seating!
The Showcase Cinema at Winnersh Triangle was my childhood place to watch films. For years it was very dated with small, rough material seats however the upgrade is amazing. All theatres have graded seating to avoid the problem of a tall person in front of you. The seats are also quality comfy leather (or faux), have reclining capability and a rising footrest. The drinks and snacks are of course very expensive as is normal for cinemas but the experience of the movie is great.
Disgusted. Insider rewards were wiped.
Insider rewards were wiped off because I hadn't used them in a while, I was going to use them to treat my grandchildren to a film, Customer services were less than helpful quoting " it's in the terms and conditions "
non refundable tickets
made a mistake booking tickets and they wouldn't refund me.
Cineworld do refunds so I will be using their services from now on
The recliner seats are exceptional
The recliner seats are exceptional. Each film viewing is a unique experience and the staff are always helpful. My favourite cinema of all the local ones and I dare say that the Coventry upgrade in 2017 was a huge boost to the city's social life!
Booked tickets can't be refunded!!
Booked tickets to go and see the latest Star Wars film but came down with an illness.
Checked online to see if you could get a refund and you can but only IN AMERICA
WHY CAN'T THE UK SHOWCASE OFFER THE SAME POLICY??
I can only apologise to the other patrons in the cinema who might now catch my cold because I'm not losing out on £45 tickets!!
upgraded
Visited the Showcase Cinema in Coatbridge to see the new Star Wars film. Service was quick. We were told it was cinema 5. The cinema has been upgraded and it looks amazing with large leather seats and wide aisles. The whole experience including the film was excellent. Well done.
Went to showcase cinema deluxe in…
Went to showcase cinema deluxe in Bristol today to see the new star wars film I had booked 3 tickets but only needed 1 as others been taken ill,so asked for 2 to be refunded only to find out showcase cinemas do not do refunds but I was issued to green tickets that apparently do not have an end date, so if I wanted to go to a showcase cinema again to see a movie or two I could however if this experience is anything to go by then I can’t see myself going to another.
I ordered food which the staff member found it hard to understand what I was asking for so this took 3-4 attempts the popcorn I ordered was tasteless the hot dog was over heated I say this because it was broken when given to me and when I bit into it is burnt the inside of my mouth the containers supplied were not up to the task no tray or container was offered to make it easier to Get to the screen With my food order the server did not smile.
The guy that eventually came to check my ticket after the person he was talking to motioned that I was there walked over and tore the stub off as if to say I really can’t be bothered he could see I was struggling with what I had and and when I dropped something said nothing and offered no assistance I had to ask where the bin was and pick up what was dropped and struggle over to the bin and not drop anything else.
The only reason I have given a one star was for the film and seat everything else was very poor customer service
OK cinema, poor customer service
I had a problem with a ticket and never received a reply from an enquiry sent to their support team.
Appalling Front of House
Appalling Front of House. I went to book cinema tickets for myself and my daughter. We both have CEA cards for non-visible conditions, I asked for the tickets and handed my CEA card to the person. They looked at me and said so 'so you need a ticket and a carer ticket' he looked at me and sniggered. I felt embarrassed as it was busy. I looked at him as he handed me the tickets with a disapproving look and said it was not a carer, but a veteran's assistant. Outrageous and not the first time, I was once told I did not look disabled as I did not have a wheelchair. Get a grip with your staff.

I usually go to the Paisley or Glasgow branch. Went to the Glasgow one today which has been refurbished with new comfy seats and named as Showcase de lux.
Great atmosphere
Great cinemas highly recommend always use when I can.
Their website really needs some work
Their website really needs some work - frequent "Error
There is an error with the transaction - please try again" messages and "Error. Oops there was a problem loading the page. Please try again." messages in both Chrome & Safari. Makes for a very time consuming booking process - I was on the point of telephoning to book but they charge you 13p a minute to book on the 'phone, which seems cheeky when their online systems are so flaky you can't use them.
Poor customer service
Movie Theatre was clean and the reclining seats was a nice touch.
Customer service is appalling and I will never go there again.
Rude teenage girls serving me and my daughter our snacks and the women cashier was as miserable as they come.
The biggest joke is you can’t even make a complaint on the Showcase Cinema, web site.
It’s awfull
It’s awfull. I bought hot dog and an ice blast to watch my movie and when I came home I’ve been vomiting all day I got food poising from there and I’m just so horrified

Reading Branch!
Reading Branch!! I love the new renovations, always very nice and clean and staff are friendly. In my opinion this is a great cinema, good value and venue.
Beckton showcase
Beckton showcase. Great local cinema, always go on a week day so it's never really busy but always clean. Staff could be happier but apart from that what can u ask for.
LINWOOD showcase DO NOT CARE about disabled people
LINWOOD showcase cinema being blind it's hard enough to enjoy myself at a cinema but to book tickets and want to see Lion King I decided to take my children with my carer. Before the film started a steward came and checked our tickets and we explained that the two ladies just behind us where not only shouting about how they didn't pay but also using their mobiles and Videoing it. I paid £51 for tickets and contacted the cinema to tell them this and get other tickets to enjoy another film. And their excuses are shocking. Firstly we didn't tell the staff....Yes we did.....the other excuses have been that this happens....well why then do showcase employ stewards ....I am about to email the CEO department which anyone can do under ceoaddress.com it's a great tool and would suggest complaint or compliment message the CEO because Nicola AND Craig from the customer services do not care!!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR money.
