Very slow deliver
I received my new reg documents Thursday and ordered new plates same day expecting them to be delivered Friday, the didn't arrive!! I waited for postman Saturday no plates so I went to Royal Mail delivery office and they were not there, I was unable to drive my car as it would have been illegal...I had to go Saturday to Checkpoint to have them done while I waited... The plates I ordered on line eventually arrived on the Tuesday, I now have paid for two sets of plates and wasted money and time

New Number Plate
The service was quick and efficient and none of the administration nonsense when trying to buy a new number plate at Halfords. My MOT was coming up and i had a cracked number plate, i tried to buy one at Halfords but could not find my V5 vehicle registration document (i have had the car for 13 years). I could prove my identity, linked to my adress and my car registration linked to me and my adress by virtue of my car tax renewal confirmation from the DVLA - but no this was nt good enough and i had to produce my V5 - which i could get a form for at the post office and pay £25 ! for a new V5. Then a colleage suggested going on line and ordering a new number plate from Showplates direct. No fuss, no hassle, just efficient and speedy service. Thank god for service providers like Showplates direct and no BS that i was getting from Halfords - Cheers guys
