Shutters are brilliant and fit correctly.
A couple of little things. We ordered 2 shutters to fit outside the window - one was ordered without the top frame but was delivered with one. The other shutter has 4 silver screws for magnet closers visible at the centre of the window - there are no magnets here!?! So uneccesarily ugly!

Shutters are better than expected, very pleased and look great, took out the insurance, measurements were wrong on one shutter and were replaced, no quibbles, very good value for money

Arrived with no fitting instructions, lots of fixtures that had no explanation or apparent use ? Small gap when fitted between the left upper and lower shutters ?? Slightly disappointed considering the cost.

Very good quality and easy to fit. Followed YouTube clip on installation and was as easy as shown.Only disappointment was having ordered a shutter that's split two one side of the window and one the other - the two that are attached are very long and therefore 'droop' so they don't actually line up with the single one. Shame, as we have bought single/doubles before and they are perfect.

Nice shutters, but not as good as the ones we purchased last year

Lovely shutters that arrived within the time and they fit well. There was a chip and a slight crack on one of the doors, but I’d waited 9 weeks and couldn’t be bothered with sending it back and once up it wasn’t noticeable. I’d buy again and will in the future as the price was great too!

Easy to fit and look great.I would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic shutters and can not fault them so highly recommend.
Con: Sadly 2 of the screws snapped whilst installing 2 of the shutters, however even with one less screw both shutters are still very securely in place and are not going nowhere.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
These guys are a complete joke. Their blinds took three months to make and deliver and they still managed to deliver us blinds that were not the size we specified and one was broken. We decided to pay a carpenter to adjust them as the company said it would take another three months to deliver corrected blinds. We arranged to send them back the broken blind with the promise that they would replace it as soon as possible, yet a month afterwards they told us that the replacement was on hold as they could not locate the broken blind sent back to them.
Completely unacceptable way to conduct business with a complete lack of concern for damage caused, costs incurred and time wasted.

Ive been thrilled, the shutters look and fit beautifully, they have transformed our room. So much so we are about to order some more.
Only downside our long wait for delivery!

Great product but delivery process needs improving. Delivery was later than estimated, then after contacting Shutters Direct there was no negotiation as to what day would be suitable or enough notice to arrange a reception for delivery

I was pleasantly surprised.....

I had a bad experience. They sent the wrong size and its been a further 8 weeks l had to wait for the correct size. Now they say I've got to wait until Sept- Aug. I've asked for a refund. The customer service was appealing.

After waiting 10 weeks for this shutter, I took it out of the box and followed the instructions to fit it. After putting it up it was clear that although the frame fitted, the shutter panels within the frame didn’t and there was a 1cm gap at the bottom on one side and a 1cm gap at the top on the other side.

This was noticeable as The two panels on one side didn’t align with the two panels on the other. After speaking to ‘customer service’ and several e-mails and photo’s sent, I was asked if I could move the hinges in order to try and rectify the issue. The panels are tight where they hinge to the frame, so moving the hinges wouldn’t have made a difference to how they hung and would still have been out-of-line.

After several people noticed the gaps on my shutters in my living room, I decided to take them down and put them back in the box.
I feel at the stage, there is nothing else that can be done. Unsurprisingly no refund has been offered for not being fit for purpose, and I can’t stress enough the importance of checking websites like this one. Thirty percent of the reviews on here for this company have been ‘bad’ for various reasons including the issue I had.

PLEASE don’t use this company and pay a little more for someone that supplies and fits.

Poor qulaity compared with other shutters purchased for a similar price. It was a very long order time. The shutter installation does not fit our window.

Excellent service from order through to delivery, shutters arrive within time frame given when ordered.

All fitted perfectly quality is excellent. Would strongly recommend this company.
