Had my classic car transported to Silchester for some engine maintenance work. The day it arrived they phoned me stating that they’re more concerned about the corrosion which I already knew about (as its already booked in elsewhere for this). I agreed to get a quote for this as well as the maintenance work. A few days had passed and as I didn’t hear anything I phoned for an update and was told “paulo has gone on holiday for a week so won’t be looking at it until he gets back”. I was very unhappy to hear this so phoned back as I was going to get the car bought back. This time one of the mechanics answered and reassured me that the car was safe and it would be looked at in a week.
Over a week later I still didn’t hear anything, I sent several messages to the Facebook page which were read and ignored. Fast forward to almost 2 weeks later, on a Friday I phoned up and Paulo answered, he said he would get me the quote either that day or worst case Monday. Friday and Monday had passed, Tuesday morning I phoned chasing for an update and was told I’d get a call from Paulo but nothing. By lunch time (3 weeks after getting the vehicle transported over) I’d arranged for it to be returned costing me hundreds of £’s and 3 weeks wasted because they do not have the decency to keep me informed about anything let alone give me a quote for any work. They also knew full well I was getting my vehicle transported over costing me money as THEY gave me the details for the transport provider. Probably the worst experience I’ve ever encountered from any establishment let alone one who thinks their reputable according to their website. If this is how they treat their customers I’m not sure how they’re still going.
