Excellent delivery food is great and good portion size. The only thing is price without discounts it’s very expensive but convenient for busy lifestyles.
Marie from customer service called for feedback was very polite and professional.

Trying to cancelling your subscription with Simmer is like trying to solve a puzzle. there's nothing on their website to cancel, you email them, and they send you three emails with links to a website to cancel. you then click on the website and have to go through 10 different web pages telling them that you want to cancel, with the button to stay being twice if not three times the size of the contuine to cancel button, which is just small text underneath. They've made it intentionally hard to cancel, so they can continue to charge extortionate prices for their mid at best food. I've had three deliveries, the first was pleasant, the second there was not consistenty with flavour, sauce or cooking for vegetables. my last delivery, I had two meals go off way before the use by day, and again lack of consistency. Personally, i would avoid and would say as a rule of thumb, if a business is spending a tonne of money on advertisement, the product probably isn't as good as you think it is. you can see/taste in Simmers food that they're proritising money to spent on marketing , rather than improving their service.

There is no price transparency for weekly charge. Started finding out how much I was paying only when the money was deducted from my account. Also, good luck trying to cancel or pause your subscription, had to request via email and was send a link with +5 pages of diverting messages and questions.
Clear lack of transparency and process fairness! It's a shame, besides this issues and the high price, the meals are actually tasty (though ingredients are quite repetitive across meals each week)

I really liked Simmer and the options for GF and DF. I have to consume NO gluten because of celiac. I didn’t realize that gluten-free at Simmer doesn’t mean celiac safe. After three weeks, I have realized that at least one meal had too much gluten and I’m probably going to suffer for it for a long time.
They didn’t apologize or anything. I couldn’t cancel my next order. They sent the canned responses about how they printed labels and whatever other logistics. I really couldn’t care less about their inflexible operations processes. That said, you better be sure you want the meals or do something before Tuesday of the week before a delivery.
I’m now unwell and have to deal with that.
Food is good. Service is a bit so-so. But, if you are celiac, I would advise you don’t risk it. Usually the “cross-contamination” potential hasn’t been an issue for me when I have risked it or didn’t realize but they must have more contamination that most.
Update: Customer Service got back to me with a more thoughtul response which I appreciate so updated the rating as it was lower based on the service more than the food or delivery. My hope is that this will help people be safe!

Ordered 20 meals for my first order which they completely screwed up and sent lots of meals I can't eat. After spending lots of time sorting with customer services all they agreed to do was refund the incorrect meals. The bare minimum considering the time I wasted figuring out what I did and didnt receive taking the food in and out of the fridge to photograph as evidence etc.
Poor service all round.

I love that Simmer is a family business. The meals are tasty and fill me up. Great variety too. There seem to be lots of promotions, and I am a little concerned about the price point when our current deal is finished. Would be better if they offered a meal that serves two people to save us cooking in the evening.

The meals are lovely. Very flavourful and so easy and convenient when me and my partner both work different hours and have different tastes. My only complaint is the recipes tend to be very similar week after week but otherwise very enjoyable!

The selection of meals has been great and different to some of the other providers we have used, the quality seems superior as well.
I also like the packaging being more sustainable - rather than using lots of plastic.
Customer service from Lily has been great too

I have had simmer for about a month now, it’s a life changer , you can taste it’s healthy unlike normal microwave meals I have the large meals as I am a body builder and eat 4000 calories a day so it helps so much to hit my targets

Customer Service is not very accommodating and the meals are quite bland. There's other providers for similar price with more flavourful meals in the UK. Also, still one of those subscriptions that's difficult to cancel through the account page. Edit: the customer service team escalated to their manager for a much more considerate resolution. Still many steps and popups to navigate to cancel

Been on these for 2 weeks now, food is good, delivery process easy. Nice variety and easy to track calories. Really helps me eat better than grabbing stuff on the go. A healthier way and feel fuller so not snacking anymore. This is really helping my wellbeing. Got a good deal initially on signing up, hope they reward loyalty and return custom.
Great service, from setting up the account to delivery to the taste all 5 star. Really tasty and health meals and so easy to do!!
