We had on going teething trouble switching over to the new digital router but John in customer service was excellent, and did everything he could to get the issue resolved. He was very conscientious and patient, even offering to check emails over the weekend for updates. I'm happy to report that we now have a working phone!

Really helpful staff who went above and beyond what I expected to enable me to set up my mother in laws phone service and help me to iron out all the niggles and snags that arose from upgrading her service to new technology (not an area where I am at my most useful!)

Evan was great and he helped me where he could but this service was for a 95yo I made it very clear that I needed to know when the current service would stop working so I could manage mum through the change but I was not told and then suddenly nobody could get hold of her. This was bloody crap to put it mildly.
If you are going to do tech things for old people it needs to be managed much better.

Transition of numbers took over a week, albeit it seems not the fault directly of Simple Telecoms. However they should have checked service was up and running, rather than taking their supplier's word for it.
On the other hand they have always been very accessible and professional in their approach so I would still recommend them.

Really easy to switch from original provider. Good and clear communication from the company in terms of what you have ordered and what/when things will happen. My dad could keep his original number which was important to him. Thank you for a smooth switch.

From my first telephone conversation with Nicola with everything thing explained in easy to understand terms no confusing tecnical jargon to emails from Tony explaing when the phone would be working with both the mobile and the transferred landline number. I would recommend this for elderly people.

I purchased a plan for my 93 year old mother who was using a copper wire old type system. Most other companies insisted on her paying for broadband as well, she doesn't have a computer or smart phone and it would appear that these companies are taking advantage of the vulnerable elderly. But this company, Simple Tel. did a phone only deal for the elderly.
We had a little problem with the first router and contacted them. TONY our contact at Simple Tel. was brilliant and a credit to his company. He sorted the problem out keeping me updated as the process progressed and explained everything in a very professional way using simple terms that even a techno moron like me can understand. The system is now functioning well and my mother is back in communication. Well done Tony and Simple Telecommunications.
