No problems.

I ordered my new machine and it turned up the next day. No problems... I haven't had the need to contact customer service or anything like that so no comments on that aspect. All I know is I can now edit my videos! On the basis of my experience this company is recommended.

Poor service - delivered wrong product and very slow to correct this order

Ordered 17" Acer with HD screen and blu-ray. Delivered system with no blu-ray. Took over a week to get system collected and a further week later still waiting for a replacement. Had to take time off work for original delivery, collection of wrong-spec machine and will have to take more time off if they ever get round to providing the system I originally ordered

Good Service

I have now ordered two laptops from Simply Acer, one for my wife about 18 months ago and one for my father in law in November last year.
On both occasions the spec of the machine has been excellent for the money, I couldn't find better for the price, comms have been good keeping me updated and delivery swift.
I would recommend them and would buy again.

fast and efficient service

I've never had any complaints ordering anything from Acer. Its just a shame that they only offer PC's with MS Windows preinstalled. I would like to see PCs with a Linux option.

Fantastic company

I ordered my laptop for my daughter on the sunday evening i had an email on the monday morning to say it had been dispatched it arived on the tuesday by 9am in the morning and we live right out in the sticks we only get post 3 times a week so alll i can say please don't hesitate to use this company highly reccomended.

Excellent products, excellent prices, excellent service - what more could you ask for?

I bought my daughter an Acer e1-531 with an additional 4GB of RAM dealer fitted that added just £40 to an already competitive price. Delivery was within two days and my only reservation was that it came loaded with Windows 8. Still, she's 7 and will get used to it faster than I will. I've set it up with two accounts, mine as an administrator and hers with parental controls which is essential as Windows 8 connects to everything left to its own devices.

The machine is outstanding value for money, brilliant screen and key board, excellent connectivity with 3 USB ports, card reader etc. etc. Just brilliant for the price, and I've just looked and they now ship the box with the extra 4GB of RAM installed for the same price as I paid a few weeks ago. I could be angry, but not even at the price I paid. At £329 it's a steal.

Gaming PC on the go!

After recieving my new laptop for Christmas I spent a lot of time testing it and making sure there was nothing wrong with the hardware or software. I can now say that for gamers out there the built in NVIDIA 630m graphics is great for those who love playing hours of PC gaming without lag or FPS drop aslong as they understand the limitations of any laptop running high end games. 8GB of ram is obviously excellent for many purposes and the smoothness of the over all feel of an i5 proccessor is more than what I could have asked for!

A company you'll keep wanting to buy stuff from

I've bought 5 laptops and two screens and half a dozen other bits from Simply Acer and they never fail to give me the best deal. I always check the specs very carefully (processor number, exact RAM size, features like bluetooth, OEM windows/OS upgrades, etc) and even if there's another dealer with a deal which seems better - by the time I factor in the extras or optional bits, Simply Acer has always turned out as the best deal.
As a bonus, they're extremely efficient and nice guys to deal with and as if that wasn't enough, they're only 25 minutes drive away. It's a no-brainer really!

Vey poor after care service

I had a problem with my laptop and felt the service I received from Simply Acer was very poor. For a start the automated options are not very clear if you have returned a laptop. All it says is, if you are having problems finding a RMA number to press option 2. Also, I find it incredible that if you press option 1 then the operator you are talking to can't transfer your call!

Once the laptop was received to be fair Simply Acer did contact me with their verdict hich was good. However, they could not give me a quote and promised that I would have one by the end of the day which did not happen. Despite sending two chasing emails I did not hear from them and had to ring back myself. They claimed that they had sent an email advising cost but did not receive it. Surely though a phone call from them would have been the best thing as they knew how urgent it was. Anyway, finally resolved today. I asked if anything could be done to reduce the price of the repair as I felt they had not be very professional but this was not forthcoming.

All in all, I will not recommed Simply Acer to anyone!

Not Happy with the service!

Received my computer & went to boot it for the very 1st time & it wouldn't work. Sent it back to Acer who promised to get back to me in 3 working days, now over 5 working days have past & I've had to contact them. They said they were sorry for not contacting me & put me on a priority list which will take a further 2 working days. Also now been told that they think they can repair it as its a faulty hard drive. 2 reasons I'm not happy is as I work with computers I know I can strip my laptop & replace the hard drive in an hour also I asked for a new computer (which is what I've paid for) as how do I know it wont inherit other problems? They said as I've received the computer & sent it back faulty its there policy to fix it & if it cant be fixed then they send a new one out.
So in summary I've paid for a brand new computer, never had a chance to use it & now getting a repaired computer sent back hopefully next week & as to date its been over 10 days since I sent I made the 1st call reporting the problem & it'll be another 5 days before I can call them again (as it's now Friday the 2 day priority list means I cant call them until Wednesday)
So be warned!!!!
