Our experience with Sistar Mortgage, especially as first time home buyers, was excellent. There were some issues with the seller’s side which caused hold ups, and Sistar was helpful and reassuring throughout the entire process. We closed on time, and everything felt smooth, even in spite of the difficulties on the seller’s side. Will recommend to anybody I know in need of a mortgage!

It took them over six months to get back to me. They reached out to my insurance without checking with me. I ended up going to another company for my refinance.

I was hassled unnecessarily in the verification documents. Further, I was promised I would get a $1500 credit by the agent. He did not keep his promise at the end. The rate of interest as well was never revised although it did go down for a while.
