Fantastic service very tasty food

I recently had the chinese style pork belly which stated "chargrilled". more to the point it was burnt black to a crisp and more like thick bacon than pork belly. How the chef could serve food like this is beyond me. Inedible.
I was offered a free desert which I refused as was disgusted

Nice pub, great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Food was excellent as well.

Went to sizzling pub in comb down bath. Ordered a steak medium to well done. What I got was a rare steak, asked for it to be cooked through and was told kitchen is closed. No refund or apology given.
My friends steak was so think, it looked like cheap frying steak. We will not be eating there again. Unhelpful staff and awful food.

Went to The Rose and Crown in Wolverhampton, it was by far the worst service and meal I've ever had. The guy behind the bar was about the best of the whole evening, he knew his job but was just very slow at getting people served, he was on his own though. The waiter was awful hadn't got a clue dumped food on the table and went on o best get some curly, no offer for any salt/pepper or sauce we had to go and find our own because once the food had been dumped her wasn't seen again. Mine and a friends order came out together after about half hour-40 minutes, my other friend sitting with us waited a further 15 minutes for her food to arrive. I had double hunters chicken it came with about 15 chips and peas (if you can call them that) the chicken was hard and dry, was massivly over cooked, i was waiting for the guy to come back to complain, which never happened so I ate it as I was hungry and went straight from a 14 hour shift at work. The peas I've no idea how they managed it but they were all shriveled up and dehydrated, the few chips that i had were OK. My friend that had food arrive at the same time had burger and chips, luckily she ate her chips with hwr fingers so when the final.order arrived my friend with Steak had a fork to eat her meal with, as no one came back round. They wasn't rushing around and that public wasn't full, just poor service and food. Ive used this pub for years since a child and from that one awful experience I shan't be returning unless it gets taken over by another company, a real shame. I couldn't read her servers name on his tag but believe it to be something like Leon. Also i saw atleast 3 times a chef stood at the bar, and once carrying a bag of frozen chicken breasts through the pub. I tried to complain on Sizzling site but that doesn't load once i select i want to make a complaint 🤔

Ordered a takeaway 6 hours in advance. Arrived at requested pick up time, order wasn’t ready.
This may have been down to the fact that it was extremely busy, mostly I guess with people taking advantage of their offer as was I.
That’s fine I didn’t mind a little wait, however this turned into nearly an hour wait. No one chose to update me on how long I would be waiting, I had to ask twice to which the reply was very soon.
While the food was nice once I finally got it home, I feel you shouldn’t be offering a service that clearly couldn’t be catered for.
Staff were busy, but clearly not enough of them. The fish and chips were put in a pizza box, far to big. No offer of a bag to carry any of it, and a half hearted apology when food arrived.

Shame as eating in has usually been a pleasure but I feel takeaway service leaves a lot to be desired. All in all I wouldn’t recommend. The red lion bath were still taking food orders while I was waiting despite being inundated with orders still not cooked.

Blue bowl in Hanham Bristol should be reported to trade description’s what you get and what’s shown on the menu has no comparison, dirty table had to clean myself, no ice for drinks, bar lady unhelpful, most definitely will not return not only did the food look bad it was unpleasant as well over cooked and dried up and skillet was not even hot

Given the place a go after the refit, but guess what a bit off paint doesn’t change the service, cash only , in this day and age who carries cash, I could order on the app but would have to pay more as over the counter I get discount for the blue light card, extremely disappointing

We visited The Dick Turpin Newcastle-under-Lyme and it didn't open until 12pm. On the website it states 11am.
Had to wait a long time for food and they forgot the bread and butter so had to go and ask for it.
The food was nice and hot.
On arrival of the desserts my daughters came first with being told that her ice cream will melt on her dessert so I had to wait for mine which was also ice cream on a hot dessert so I don't understand.
The desserts were very small for the price . Mine was £5.49 . Also 75p for bread and butter and 75p for peas.

Absolutely shocking , dirty tables dirty cutlery, food took ages to come out then it came out one by one , service so slow yet staff can all laugh a joke in kitchen (shocking) , 6.15 left at 9.45 children all tired and unhappy with the waiting, and your toilets are a disgrace dirty smelly, would never return to this place have a video of the gent’s toilet 🤬

Ordered dinner at the Crofters pub in Huyton Liverpool and after a few minutes wanted to leave.Men were shouting and swearing and the manager just said they.re always loud!8oz Steak was 5oz's of fat!!!Complained and wasn't offered a refund or replacement!Then when leaving a man sat on an outside table was smoking and SPITTING!!! Vile pub..Id leave well alone!!!

Food was dry and tasteless, my Mother nearly choked on the fat on her steak.
Also for various reasons I was given a car parking charge, my brother's charge was let go but I was not able to appeal and The Castle Pub refused to help in any way despite being the only people who could have supported an appeal.

I will never eat in this pub again. Certainly not a good experience.

Decided to give this place (Tyler's Rest, Reading) another try (having been told we had to wait 30 minutes before we could order last time we came). This time we went at 6.30pm and was told they have no chips!! NO CHIPS!! Chips come with everything on the Menu! Poor Service and incredibly bad attitude of the staff will ensure I never enter this place again

Went to the gables Saturday 25th March. Two adults and 2 kids. 3 meals came out at the same time, the oldest child’s was at least 5 mins later, had to remind them twice we were still waiting. Dessert was the same, 2 adults dessert came, then one child’s, adults were finished our dessert by the time the other dessert came. Food was lovely but service was poor

Six of us went for lunch today to The Barley Mow. Guy at the bar took the food order. Food took over 1 hour to arrive and I had to remind several times. The guy advised that food usually takes 45 minutes only when I went to remind him. Also, he reported that he works here only today and was dismissive. Later on when we were leaving he apologized for the delay!
Offered is free second round of soft drinks.
Long delays, lack of customer service and poor quality food, would not recommend

The sun inn in Wakefield normally great food but now so burnt or undercooked absolutely horrible

Ate out with the family at the Wagon and horses in Gloucester. And I'll start by saying it wasnt perfect, I had salad on my burger I asked to be plain and the lasagne was overcooked. However, I don't expect restaurants to be perfect all the time, it's impossible, and I've had many flawless meals at Sizzling Pubs across the country and not left a review. The staff were friendly, likeable and when it didn't go quite right on this occasion, understanding and rectifyed it straight away. You can't expect more than that, people, me included are too quick to leave negative reviews and not leave the positive ones, the hardworking, positive staff deserve. So there!

What great service My brother Is diabetic and limited on his diet A lady called Becky came across and helped him choose his Meal and customised it for him it was delicious Hunters chicken with 2 veg packs wow highly recommended. Fantastic staff they can't do enough for you 😀
