Staff are amazing (and so is the food)!
This is my third visit to The Park in Hillsborough, Sheffield, and each visit has been superb. Today (as with the last visit), the staff member and her manager were brilliant. My daughter has a milk/soya allergy and they spent a lot of time and trouble to ensure our meals were totally dairy/soya free. Our Classic burgers and chips were very tasty and we were served quickly. I can't fault The Park and recommend it highly.
Birthday Disaster!
Birthday Disaster!
I visited here recently with my son for a birthday tea. The pub was busy with a distinct lack of staff so we ordered at the table and the drinks arrived about 10 to 15 minutes before the meals. My son had ordered a burger and chips which arrived hot but didn't resemble the picture on the menu, I had ordered a surf and turf which was supposed to be delivered on a sizzling platter but was not and whilst the chips were hot the steak was cold. I tried to get the attention of the waitress and failed so eventually took my meal back to the bar. There was a member of staff that wasn't serving but was very friendly and I explained that the chips were hot but the steak cold and could it please be replaced. About 5 minutes later a replacement arrived at the table and the lady said I will come and check on you in a few minutes. Unfortunately yet again the platter was not sizzling, the chips were hot but the steak only warm and undercooked and bloody. I tried to get the attention of the waitress who passed the table on several occasions but who ignored me so I waited for the same lady to come back, by which time my son was now finishing his meal. I complained that yet again it was cold and this time undercooked as well, I explained it was supposed to be my son's birthday tea and wanted a refund for my meal as I wasn't going to bother. She apologised and did refund the entire meal which was appreciated but after been given 2 cold meals and the last one very undercooked I would not return. Absolute joke and if they can't cook a steak let alone serve it hot on a "sizzling platter" it makes a joke of the term on the menu....obvious lack of staff and training!!
The pub with no (or hardly any) food
We went to our local pub The Ffrith Prestatyn for a meal last night. 40% off the said but it was a shame only about 20% of the things listed on the menu were available! I just can't see how the place remains open!

Sizzler Hadley essex
Sizzler Hadley essex - hidden gem
I have driven past the place hundreds of times and never wanted to go in .
On an off chance as Leigh was busy we went in !
We have missed a gem ! Walked in to a really nice atmosphere and one of the warmest welcomes I have had ,
Mary was so kind nice helpful clearly loves her job and the company ! What a credit to sizzler brand !
With a little bit of interior investment this place would give every Leigh pub a run for its money !
I will 100 % come back and also now to try the food !!!
Can’t wait Nikki and glen from canvey
Bridlington sizzling pub
Bridlington sizzling pub, such poor quality food, told 45min wait for food as chefs have been told to reduce hours!!!!
Disgusting scampi bits!!( not cooked certainly a very poor portion , poor chips, cold, dry peas.
One very large Berger meal didn’t even fill a 4” bun or maybe it was 3.5” bun!
Pretty typical Mitchell’s and Butler’s rip off rubbish food!!!
WHY!!!!!!
Came for a family members birthday
Came for a family members birthday, spent over £80 on meals, extremely dry food no-one enjoyed their meal. We had a 9 month old with us and ordered a child's meal which was dry, when asked if any chance of a bit of gravy putting on was told I had to buy a portion! Really disappointed, will not be dining here again, expensive afternoon out to not enjoy.
Friendly, and delicious food
Friendly, clean and welcoming pub, great prices for Monday club, and to top it off, the most delicious and well cooked salmon I have ever had - a great addition to the menu! With incredibly helpful and polite staff, it's no wonder The County, South Shields is one of the most popular pubs in town - well done to all staff!

We went the Red Lion at penketh at Warrington yesterday - we had a group booking of 14 people. I can honestly say the staff were great and the food was good value and for a large group that got the covers out really well ! On site play area was great for the kids … overall a very good experience
Very Disappointing, no return visit for us....
First port of call, the ladies toilets. Tiles cracked and dirty, door handle scummy feeling due to build up of filth, toilet bowl disgusting, stained and toilet seat needs fixing as loose and moved when i sat on it. I was desperate to go before i left for home but couldn't face the toilets again.
Food is bland, even the sizzling dish we ordered was tasteless and actually, luke warm, not sizzling hot at all.
I left my food, the lady on the next table had the same and left hers too.
Poor portion size especially southern fried chicken starter, 3 small pieces of chicken.
Great car park, lovely looking pub from outside but it needs a lot of tlc. Overall, scuzzy and wouldn't return.
Burnt food
Pike and musket. Gloucester.
Ordered lasagne for my little girl as when she's eaten here before she's had burnt chicken dippers twice now and refuses to eat. So we thought we would try something different.
Lasagne was burnt to the point you couldn't even cut it or put fork in. Was black. Chips were OK though.
Save to say won't be eating here again as too many times we have tried different food and always comes out burnt. Real shame. Been drinking here for years (9) but food quality awful now. Food took ages to come too..maybe don't leave it so long to burn!!
Chaddlewood Inn - Plymouth
Visited The Chaddlewood Inn in Plymouth with family. Great Family pub. Food is always piping hot, and portions are very generous. Service with a smile, and accommodating staff every time!
Our go to pub for family get togethers!
We visited the Centenary pub in Norton…
We visited the Centenary pub in Norton on Thursday and i must admit that the food was fantastic. I put in a special request for my salmon as I like it plain and nothing was a problem for the kitchen. Chris is always spot on for service and checking that you are the person who booked the table. I couldn’t complain about any member of staff. This must be down to management and training. Very well done.

Sick.. so sick
Sick... So sick...
Vegan sausage and mash ment to be gluten free... I disagree.. within 10 minutes I was so k in the carpark.
Staff didn't care can't get on feedback to tell them..
Absolutely rubbish
Absolutely rubbish, this app has been off line for weeks so no customer loyalty points there, lost ALL my points / credits and rewards... And can't get back in now after multiple tries, boycotting for this chain for Green King who offer better food, service and value anyway
Website displays incorrect prices on weekend.
Attempted to order via the table service mobile website by scanning the QR code, selected 2x fish and chips from the 2 for £9 deal, got to checkout and found that it came up as £17 with cheap drinks, since this wasn’t right, I went up to the bar and ordered the exact same order. I was then charged £19, I questioned this and was told that the 2 for 9 is weekday only.
Why isn’t this made clear on the website? It’s quite a simple change to make, just remove the ‘2 for £9!’ banner. Then, as stated, I was charged £2 more than the app had even suggested, I have no idea where this came from… I’d have happily paid £12 for the meal and drinks, which it would’ve been on a weekday, but if I’d have known it would be £19 before the bartender served me and made the drinks, I’d have walked out.
Food was as expected, nothing great, but cannot complain about that.
