I done my research and it paid off, lovely clinic which is easy to get to and discreet, the staff are very professional and friendly, I would definitely recommend skalp and suggest giving them a call, the results speak for themselve

So! slightly tipsy one night a few months ago, the urge came over me to spend some money online. After filling my basket at a number of well-used outlets. And then emptying them again. Like ya do... the choice came down to. Getting SMP work done or buying a storm trooper outfit. I decided to sleep on it. After all, i had had some fun. Shopping! But not buying.
The next day, the Trooper outfit was quickly dismissed. Besides. I'm a little too small to be a storm trooper...
Now, I lost my hair 30 years ago. My heads not the worst shape for a bald fella. So I just hit the buzz cut and moved on. Given the choice to loose my hair or keep it. I would of course chose to keep it. Not the DNA I was dealt though. I did however enjoy keeping my head to the bone. Easy right?
This is the reason SMP would work for me. I never even thought about a piece or a transplant but here was an option to take back the look of hair but keep doing what I've done for...ever!
Someone is essentially tattooing your head. Mess that up and you would be looking for a TYSON TRIBAL cover up. Not a chance I wanted to take. So began the journey.
To keep it simple SKALP have been around doing this from the very early days. This was a green light for me. The consultation was informative and simple. Made easy for them I'm guessing because I had made my mind up to get it done already. Within two weeks I was in the chair. Vinny was my stylist. #Not said that for a number of years"..As far as I'm concerned he is the Goat of SMP. All he does and has done for years. Is this. I had some idea of what I wanted, but to be honest. I quickly left it in his hands.
For me a great adventure. Three amazing session with the results getting better each time. Kinda. Older, younger looking, new me.
If you want a new look. Or you just don't like the fact your hairline is on the retreat. Get it done! Or don't. Your choice.
Does it hurt? I read its like having an elastic band flicked at your head. For me, it was more like having a friend poke your head with a needle. Thousands of times. No pain no gain gang. I got used to it, and even dosed off. Sweet!
I'm very pleased. Do your own research of course. Once you have im sure like me you will choose to visit SKALP.

Just wrapped up my third session and am delighted with the results!

To give a little more context, I have had thinning hair for over a decade and though I have been able to stabilise this using finasteride/minoxidil treatment, this was only after already very noticeable thinning on the top of my head contrasting with thick hair on the back and sides. I keep my hair short to reduce this contrast with a #1 buzz cut on back and sides vs #2 on the top.

Having more recently been made aware of scalp micropigmentation as a form of treatment I did my research and became excited at the prospect of using this to help add the appearance of additional fullness. I'd also looked at lots of companies and was impressed at how Skalp stood out in its excellent reviews and was the only company whose profile inspired the confidence for me to reach out.

From the first point of interaction with Skalp arranging next steps with Toni, to having a consultation with Christie to then having three sessions with Vinny it's clear you are dealing with a company that cares about what they do and want to make sure you are going to be happy. At no point did I feel pressured and everyone was extremely patient to make sure that I was comfortable at every step of the way and very much validated the sentiment from the reviews.

In my case I was not looking to shave my head and wanted to keep with my existing haircut style so was wary as to whether this would work. The Skalp team were very clear on how it all works, what's possible, and just as importantly, what's not. Managing my expectations on how much of a fullness effect to expect, I went for it.

Looking back after my third session I can honestly say I'm absolutely delighted with the results! The process has added notably more fullness to the top of my head and special credit is needed for Vinny here. He is a maestro at his art and I can't believe how effectively he has created an even and uniform density to the top of my head. There is still a contrast to the back and sides but this was expected as ultimately at this length it's not possible for micropigmentation to compare with the actual contrast in real hair density! However looking in the mirror now it's like I've rewound the clock almost 10 years!

Aside from being extremely talented, Vinny is such a lovely guy and very sensitive to my anxiety at the start on the process. He fully understood my worry that it wouldn't look natural and adjusted the pacing/plan for the three sessions to take it slower allowing me to build confidence with each one. I can't stress enough that you are in great hands here as Vinny and the team are determined to make sure that no-one walks out unhappy with what's been done. The process itself is a little uncomfortable/painful at times but certainly tolerable and worth it for the results! Throughout each session Vinny is engaging with you to let you know what he is thinking/doing and get your feedback to maximise the best results for you. Even after three sessions I'm amazed at how natural it looks - you really can't distinguish from real hair follicles.

I wish I had known about this treatment sooner but so happy to have done it now and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Skalp!

I have now had my hairline from Skalp for over 8 YEARS and I still look in the mirror EVERY DAY with absolute AMAZEMENT at how great it looks.

No one I speak to has any idea that it is effectively a head tattoo and even when I tell them, they are astounded at how good and realistic it looks.

This treatment was without doubt the best money I have EVER spent on myself and I would have happily paid 10 TIMES the price if I knew how good it was going to make me feel, after being bald over 10 years before that and not even wanting to look in the mirror at myself because I hated what I saw.

I was very choosy in selecting the right place to go to have my SMP done. Skalp struck my attention as they had a place in Manchester (closer to me than London) and they had real reviews by real people. Not thousands of purchased reviews covering up a collection of negative ones. It seemed to be a legitimate operation operating for a while in many major global cities too. After having my initial WhatsApp video call with Jason I was very confident and assured this was the right place for me. After having 2 previous consultations with competing businesses and feeling uncertain.

After having my first session with Sabina I was really happy with the results. I've since had my second and third sessions now and just recovering nicely from my latest session. Sabina was really helpful, friendly and professional.

I had an overall pleasant experience during the procedure too, obviously, the process itself is a needle breaking the surface of your skin many times over so it is not a spar session. But strangely you come away willing to come back easily for the next session with no worries or concerns; this is why I can confirm it as "fairly pleasant overall". I can understand how some people can fall asleep too as at some points it is relatively easy to sit through. The aftercare, help and advice is a 5 star service too, with clear instructions and someone to go to ask any questions.

Incredible experience at Skalp from Kristy. It was over 3 sessions, progressively getting better results over the sessions. If you're thinking about getting this, I highly recommend Skalp and Kristy. 100% recommended.

If you are thinking of micropigmentation- Skalp should be your go-to clinic and should very much be sitting at the top of the list - I would not hesitate in recommending them at all. There are no hard sells, no pressure, you are just going to be in a safe pair of hands - the quality of the approach, people and the work will speak for itself.

I have been to a few places, for fue treatments and skalp micopigmentation - some of these had not quite gone according to plan. Following these expensive lessons - I needed quite a lot of help to get a handle on the appearance up top. From the first meeting onwards with Vinny, I felt confident about the journey.I can say that the whole experience end to end was simply excellent and I could not be happier with the results.

Toni was incredibly professional in coordinating appointments and every interaction has been so smooth.

Vinny is amazing. He is truly passionate about the work he is doing and the impact he is having on his clients lives. In terms of results - he puts so much attention to the detail that, as I mentioned earlier, I could not be happier with the outcome. I used to spend close to an hour with the hair trying to compensate for thinning areas and other botched areas. Now it takes me three minutes. In terms of time saved daily - this has been a no brainer for me and I will certainly be going back whenever I need a touch up.

I asked Skalp to conceal the scar on my head from a hair transplant. I'm very happy with the result.

I just completed my third session with Vinny, I can’t recommend it enough.

Here’s what you’re probably thinking: (as I was)

1. “It will look weird, I’ve seen the disasters, it can’t have a natural look.”

Complete opposite, Skalp actively promote a natural look which will match your hair colour and hairline that matches your age, Vinny (the practitioner) openly promotes going for a natural look and will push you in that direction. (In my opinion even the photos they use for promotion can look slightly over the top probably due to a bit of editing to highlight the result), this is not the case for the finished product. You can approach the treatment with confidence that they will actively work with you to find the colour and hair line that suits you the best.

Also the treatment is split into three sessions, this allows you to see the progress as you go, at every point you analyse and can make decisions on if it’s working as you want.

2) “Why Skalp? and how do I know they are the best compared to all the others when you Google”

Hopefully this review and the other reviews will help, but even reviews can’t be trusted completely so check out the YouTube, Instagram and website so you can see the process, the results and the outcome across multiple people. Simply put Skalp has the best body of work for comparison bar none. This is what I did and I’m sure you are doing this if you are reading this,

3) “I’m nervous, people will know, I can’t just suddenly have a hair line (although buzz cut)”

This is probably a personal thing and you have to weigh up the pros and cons depending on where you are on your hair loss journey (is that a thing!) timing wise I was shaving my head with a trimmer completely bald anyway so the transition from that to the end result after the treatment has worked well and with the natural look people you know may think somethings changed but perhaps not quite be able to figure out what; you’re still a baldy even after the treatment and to the lucky people with hair what’s really the difference between a baldy and a post treatment baldy. Probably nothing. Also people you don’t know will never have a clue.

To conclude, all the worries I had were legit, but unfounded, really happy with the results and the biggest step is just emailing Skalp and getting in for an appointment. It’s natural to be nervous as having something like this done is a big step, just don’t risk going with a mate down the pub or a cheap option. You want the professionals, you want the best, speak to Skalp first!

I sound like an advert but that’s probably as I’m so happy, although my head is still a little red from session 3 even after two sessions I have more confidence and can finally feel like I can relax into my buzz cut baldness and give up the dream of getting back that long hair I use to have at 17. With or without the treatment I wish you luck fellow baldies.

I've had 2 SMP sessions with Skalp (8 yrs apart). And both experiences have been excellent. The first procedure honestly transformed my appearance and I've never regretted it.

If u are still in doubt, then… it’s simply means you haven’t meet Vinny. Skalp Harley street London OMG! They do not only deliver on a deadline , they make things happen. The best in the world.
