This product is TOTAL junk. It separates under the slightest suction allowing the contents of the basket to clog the skimmer return line. The warranty is useless. and customer service keeps sending the same canned response and refuses to stand behind their defective product. DO NOT PURCHASE !!!!!

This company advertises a lifetime warranty but won't honor the warranty even within a year. They charge a premium price for an average product and do not stand behind their warranty promise.

DO NOT buy from this company. They advertise that the skimmer basket "fits all skimmer boxes" - it does not... the basket was too wide for our skimmer and as such would not sit down far enough to be below the waterline.
I emailed them 2 days after it arrived and they sent back saying that return requests had to be sent within 15 days of it being sent (their website says 15 days of being sent or 10 days from receiving). After I emailed back saying that as we are in Australia and it was over the Christmas period, it had only just arrived. They then replied saying that I could send it back at my expense for a refund, but only had 48 hours to do so. I physically could make this deadline. As such we have an item that we cannot use and are out of pocket.
Not only is this false advertising, but they are very rude and make it extremely difficult to deal with them. I would strongly recommend buying from somewhere else.

Junk - Mine broke and the company will not honor thier own warranty. It does nothing for your pool.

Its not free shipping. You receive a bill from Fed-Ex after the fact. So while it is free for them, it’s not free for you. Going to try the skimmer but not much faith in what they say at this point.

I purchased one of their units. It didn't do much of anything. I contacted them for a return. They agreed to refund the money but I have to pay the shipping back to their office in Florida. The cost of shipping will be higher than the refund I will receive. I contacted them about that (mentioning that Amazon pays shipping both ways on products) and essentially told me to pound sand. Think long and hard before you buy one of these...It doesn't do much and they will make you pay the freight back to their office for you money back!

Overall about $200 wasted. I have to connect my Polaris Maxx suction vacuum via my pool skimmer. The skim-a-round causes such a suction disruption that it stalls my vacuum and pump every single time. You also need special attachments, only available by emailing support and paying extra shipping for twist lock hoses. I even paid a pro to come try and troubleshoot it. It never functioned and they refused a refund.

While it does work as promised, it is not the last skimmer you will purchase. Water, chemicals, salt, and the elements will cause this product to disintegrate & fail. Getting any refund or replacement parts via email is a hassle, as they want pictures of the failed or broken part. They should simply mail you the part that breaks because it's always the same part. It's the "O" ring that goes around the base to ensure that the unit fits tight around the return opening that travels to the pump and filter. I am on my third one in 6 years.

Purchased the product but it did not fit my pool skimmer.
It arrived in a large box. Inside was the original box but it was damaged and the blue tablet that came with it had leaked all over the box. I assume that’s why it was repackaged.
It cost about $16.00 to return it.
It was received by them on 5/24/2024. I have yet to receive a refund. They did say it would take up to 14 business days to inspect the product.

I am extremely disappointed with the Skim-A-Round all-in-one skimmer baskets. Despite the glowing descriptions and high promises, this product does not work as advertised. I expected it to effectively skim debris from my pool, but it failed miserably. The basket struggled to capture even the smallest leaves, and larger debris simply bypassed it entirely. It's clear that the design is flawed and not up to the task. I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable pool skimmer.

SAVE YOUR MONEY IS RIGHT, this only works for about 2 days. The rings ware out & warp, and the suction is gone. Then all you have is a worthless basket floating sideways... SAVE YOUR MONEY.........DON'T BUY THIS, YOUR MONEY WILL GO DOWN THE FILTER....

I was very surprised to see such low reviews for Skim-a-Round. I usually am skeptical about products I see advertised on social media and this product was no different. I am quite the male Karen when products disappointment me however this product did not disappoint. It was on sale, shipped free, arrived within two (2) days of purchase, and works exactly as described. I assembled it which was very easy and placed it in my skimmer basket. Within a matter of 30 seconds, my entire pool surface bugs and debris had been pulled into the basket “cyclone”. I was so impressed by this product, I recommended it to my colleague the next day at work.

The only Bernoulli effect was my $41.00 going down the drain. Nowhere in the instructions or videos does it show how far below or above the water line the top of the unit has to be. There is NO vortex created at all. I've got the ring at max setting and nothing! There is also zero indication if the unit sits right on top of the intake or what. The skimmer set-up my pool has is a unit with an adjustable flap that sat below the old basket.

I have not received the product yet but this is for their false advertising on their site. It clearly states 2 day shipping. I’m on day 8 and as stated earlier, nada. When I try to track, it shows the package stopping at every podunk facility in the midwest. And previous reviews are right, no contact info whatsoever. I only ordered this cause my pool guy said that some of his customers have them and like them. We’ll see.

The product is complete crap. They have no way of reaching them. No email no phone nothing. Only option is to file a chargeback with our AMEX. Avoid at all cost. It’s crap.

The rings was not cut correctly and did not fit, product was not usable without replacement ring. I sent a warranty e-mail and it was not responded to. No Customer Service, no phone number. Can not use product.

Garbage. Doesn't work. Ring broke and they refuse to honor thier lifetime warranty. My tests showed it works no better than the standard filter.

Doesn't work as promised. Would never sink down when pump came on. I added weight to sink it then it wouldn't seal properly. They make returns near to impossible and then deny your return after sent back. DO NOT BUY THIS EVER!!!

Bought the Ultimate and Standard . The ultimate arrived as stated but the Standard didn’t arrive
Waited 3 weeks before they would send me a new Standard . A replacement is now on its way.

The Ultimate arrived and it was not compatible with my Zodiac hose so I had to buy and adaptor. This device is so sensitive that it can rip and suck in air . There is no swivel when using it with a pool floor robot so it will always get the hose tangle up causing it to flip and suck on water

Send it back , (free if faulty) they insinuated that the free trial was started from delivery of the ultimate not when the adaptors arrived . But made an exception in my case but tried to scaremonger me by listing about 15 things that could be inspected meaning they won’t refund me if it didn’t passed the returning line new test . Meaning that I would then have to pay another shipping to get the product sent back to me or they would discard it . The customer service is dreadful and there is no number to speak to a human .
