DO NOT BUY -- Company was acquired by a private equity and will not ship out products even when it says the product is available. If you have ordered, you need to contact your card to file a chargeback

I placed a $144 order #78190 in July 2024 with Skin Actives. Due to their failure to provide legal customs documentation, the parcel was held and eventually returned to the U.S. after weeks of ignorance from Max (shipping dep.). I contacted their team repeatedly — by email and phone — and was met with silence, irrelevant responses, or complete dismissal of my questions. The female secretary was giving absolutely irrelevant responses out of the topic!

Now, system deceptively shows I purchased only one cream for $50, not the full 11 items for $144. This appears retaliatory after I mentioned I would be publicizing the story after every product. On top of this, I lost additional €25 in taxes due to your company’s mistake — which you have made no effort to acknowledge or compensate.
To continue, I was told a refund was issued in January 2025, but no refund was processed, and after I asked for proof they admitted actually the refund was not made. To this day, my money is still being withheld, and my most recent follow-up to Rachel has once again been met with silence — a recurring pattern with your staff.

This company shows a complete lack of responsibility, professionalism, and basic integrity. I do not recommend purchasing from them — especially internationally because they can't provide related documentation for tax clearance according to EU law and you'll be stuck with them without your cosmetics, money, nerves and time.

I’m now escalating this publicly and legally, because now it's mid April 2025 and company is still withholding my money and changing order retroactively.

*I will come back and make a date stamp when the matter will be solved (the companies CEO also informed) since now it's been 8 months (and ongoing)
