I was able to connect easily and set up this service but a few days in I found the website was gone and my computer was unprotected for several days. It was very inconvenient when first commencing and made me question if this would be continuing to occur in the future and regret paying for a year up front if this is the case!

SlickVPN is a pretty decent VPN service. Their custom software/VPN Client solid functionality (it checks for DNS leaks and blocks the connection upon any failure) however, the UI felt IMO a little clunky.

I also was happy with their service on Android, although they don't have an app, it is easy to use with the "OpenVPN for Android" app.

My one slight complaint would be to provide an easy to find list of servers. With Android you have to edit the .ovpn file manually, and it always took me awhile to find their server list. An updated and an perhaps downloadable text document would make it easier.

I upgraded from another well-known VPN provider that had enormous difficulty in acknowledging that its service was compromising DNS and hampering torrent transfers. After several frustrating days of reinstalling TAP drivers and downgrading to earlier iterations I decided to make a change. I chose SlickVPN as its value proposition was similar to the service I was leaving, and pricing was similar. Almost from the moment I installed Slick I saw a dramatic improvement. No DNS hassles, very fast web access and torrenting became a breeze. Great stuff SlickVPN!

My first paid VPN. Initial connection a little confusing, but once connected has been fine.

The client was unable to locate me -> no servers being able to connect to.

Slow speeds sometimes, Netflix works about 50 percent of the time

I could not get any site servers to populate the table. Support could not help. I tried NordVPN and it worked first time

I came to slickvpn from just a torrent blocker. I'm former military and have friends in still that are in the IT field. Its not nonsense or tin hat theory... We are being monitored and isp's are handing out our info. Web sites, statistical data and patterns. What you watch on Netflix and what you surf in YouTube. Put an end to it and VPN. Even if you aren't doing anything 'wrong'. Just a great company and interface, brainless setup and run it. Cheaper than a stop at a fast food joint and healthy too lol.

It was fast to sign up, works excellent.I am all ready looking to sign up again in six months!

1. asked them to open some ports until now they didn't open (maybe because i'm on the core plan or because they dont know or they can't?).
2. for android you need to use OPEN VPN or edit the server manualy (they dont have app designated for Android or IOS).
3. some servers point you to different locations from what it says
4. most of the servers work but some of them not working.
5. the site is lack of a explanation and its very complicated to find what you need
6. help tickets are answerd after 24 - 48 hours if at all. better to send them Email to support at slickvpn.com (at least they are answer)
7. the speed is not fast as i wanted but for the CORE PLAN and for the money i am not complaining (maybe the speed IS better in the regular plan)
8. i think that the problems in sections 2,3,4 is for all plans.

PROS : dns leak protection

in general the core plan is OK for novice peaple or for everyone who want to surf the internet anonymity

Good service overall, just needs to add more features. Like some other vpn providers, they need to offer self-service port-forwarding. Which allows services like PLEX and others to work with their vpn.

Still can't get products

Nothing worked the way it was descriped. The software had a lot of problems and the servers were extremely slow.
