Thankfully I left as soon as I realised who they were and what type of company they were running
Gary, Jason and Nathan only cared about lining their own pockets and retiring as fast as they can
Good riddance to this disgraceful company
So glad to see they've gone bust, the management were made up of bullies, intimidating customers. I put down a deposit on Windows which never got done as they insisted they couldn't park their van outside the flat(even though a surveyor had already come round) When they refused to give me back my deposit after threatening and intimidating behavior by their management, I took them to court and won. They then started to harass me with nuisance calls and eventually gave up after about a year. I honestly can't believe this company was allowed to trade, good to see they got what they deserved and went bankrupt
Good riddance to bad rubbish …
I had a porch built by this company back in 2023 and paid for it, it was so badly built it had to be redone by another building company. The people they employ or get to do the work are nothing but cowboys I for one am glad that they have gone out of business good riddance to bad rubbish.
And Trustpilot should take some of the blame as when I had the work done they would not print what I had to say about this company and their was no swear words involved just a damming report about the people involved.

if i could leave any review under one star i would. The company is shut now. which was not a surprise as the attitude would surely come from the owners and eventually filtered down to the staff and then to the customers. it was a toxic atmosphere to get any sort of work done. i as a customer felt very much timid and downgraded as the way in which the staff operated.

Since yesterday, I have been feeling very stressed upon learning that Smith Glass Windows has gone into liquidation. Two years ago, I lost my husband, and since then, we have been managing with windows that are significantly damaged. In response to an advertisement from Smith Glass Windows, I engaged their services and we agreed on a total cost of £15,000 for new windows, as I wanted to ensure a secure environment for my children and myself.
Unfortunately, I was unable to secure a loan for this project, so I have been making payments to Smith Glass Windows out of my own savings and by borrowing from friends and family. We were looking forward to having the windows installed by the end of September, but now I am devastated to learn about their current situation.
The last communication I received from Smith Glass Windows indicated that the windows and doors were ready. I am at a loss for how to proceed, and it is causing me significant distress, especially given my circumstances.
I gave Smith windows £10,500 deposit my life savings! I was now told it’s all gone. Please help guide me anyone

This company entered liquidation around 15th July 2024 and yet it seems from the reviews they were still trading. I have a half finished Orangery which is fully paid for. Now have to get other trades in to finish it off! I researched the company on Companies House and found The Liquidators information can be found on Companies House. I contacted them and they were extremely helpful and whilst you may not get your money back any information about the conduct of either the directors or employees is useful to them. Unfortunately since the main director passed in December the company went in to decline. The Managers of the business were clearly not competent in this line of business. I offered them the opportunity to walk away if they were unable to fulfil their side of the agreement. They did not wish to do this. I also asked that the Roofing Company - whoever they were - could come along and inspect the site prior to commencement, this was refused. They said they knew what they were doing. I should have known then that something disastrous would happen. At each payment stage they were aggressive with their approach. What should have been a two week upheaval has been a year of utter distress and sleepless nights. The Project Manager and Salesman were two of the most despicable people I have ever encountered they were obstructive, argumentative and kept referring back to the death of the director for their mismanagement of my project which is in my home and for which they had no respect or understanding in how this has impacted on me. Disgruntled - Absolutely considering the treatment I received.

We got a quote went ahead with the groundworks, brickwork which was great - got a date for the rest of the installation for 5th August and the company has switched off phones, emails bouncing back - no one has been in touch to tell us what has happened - hear word of mouth that have gone bankrupt - not heard from a liquidator either to tell us what is going on. Yet the website is still up and running and inviting quotes - no mention that shut down ! Disgusting and 50% of monies paid and not had the decency to contact us... what sort of people are they that can behave in such an appalling manner

AVOID AVOID AVOID dreadful service and very rude and arrogant when trying to get them to complete the work that I’ve paid for, I’m still waiting for them to finish the roof on my conservatory since November 2023!! They put themselves as a family firm but I wouldn’t treat my worst enemy how they’ve treated me! Save yourselves a lot of grief and employ a decent company to carry out your work or you will have nothing but rudeness and trouble, I’ve tried talking to them but they now wont answer my calls, disgusting company and I should have gone with the reviews but wanted to use a local company, never again.
They will try and say that’s it’s my fault but I can assure you that I’ve tried and tried to sort this out with them, that’s the only reason I’ve waited to write this review is to give them a chance to do what I contracted them to do ! there will be all sorts of excuses but they are liars and should not be believed, I repeat do not use them !!
Good windows, AWFUL salesman
Good windows and fitter, AWFUL salesman. I literally only got the windows because I couldn't get the arrogant, horrible sales bloke out of my house!! We agreed to a finance plan and since having them fitted have been informed finance was never agreed so I have to pay the whole balance in full. Like people just have 10 grand laying around. Do not trust this company!!

Unbelievable! I was just shouted to on the phone by a pushy salesman trying to book an appointment for a quote that I wasn't even interested in. He even hung up while I was still talking. Extremely unprofessional!

Fantastic service from start to finish!!! All representatives were friendly but also very professional.
The finished installment is perfect and the 2 fitters, Dan & Jamie( I think that was their names) were so very respectful of my property leaving it very clean. At the same time they were friendly yet professional!! We always use Smiths for any Double glazing needs and will continue to do so as the Service is always impeccable.

we had our old conservatory removed and a new one supplied and installed by smith glass. the men that did the work were very good, the weather was not great while they were doing the job, but they carried on working. overall we were very pleased with the end result.

I had all of my windows and doors…
I had all of my windows and doors replaced by Smith Glass at a good price. Scott the installer arrived in the morning slightly earlier than expected, and that was not a problem. He worked alone, and didn’t stop for a tea which I offered him a few times, he just cracked on with the job. I am more than happy with the work he’d done, very tidy and clean. Waiting for a quote on my gutters next.

I said i wanted windows fitted in november 2023...the salesman kept ringing and came round months ahead of schedule, took the order, assured me there were no problems with inward opening windows and they would be fitted November. Took deposit. Spoke to 3rd party on phone who also assured me he was compliant with planning and seafront windows.
Was then told they could not fulfil the order and would i like some more expensive ones?
No..i was happy to spend 1500 and the salesman and 3rd party agreed to it.
Asked for 1 small window instead...surely you can manage that??!
Apparently not, salesman didnt turn up, no response to request for a refund. Avoid!!
No order number on contract, standby date was 21/11/2023 . Standby reference number given. Not affiliated with ombudsmen
