Windows measured documents signed.Day of window fitting, fitter arrived on time job completed.

I can’t really understand why this company doesn’t have higher reviews on Google, from our experience they definitely aren’t reflective of what we purchased.

The sales guy Steve was very good, and 100 times better than a couple of other companies who had quoted for the work, likewise the surveyor who was also good.

We’ll save the best comments for the installation guy Scott who was amazing, he fitted 7 windows alone (two of them being almost 3m x 2m) as well as a new front door. Not only was his work fantastic but he’s a genuinely nice guy who we can’t recommend highly enough. We’re very happy with the finished product and will request Scott again when we need further work completed next year.

One slight disappointment was the original installation date wasn’t kept BUT I don’t feel that is enough to knock off a whole star.

That aside, great product great price and more importantly three great people who came to our home.

Firstly I’d like to say I was pleasantly surprised by the service we have received from smiths glass.
We took a gamble with this company based on the reviews we found and in all honesty the reviews nearly made us cancel our installation.
We had an install date set for 10 November 22. Scott our fitter turned up and was excellent, clean, tidy and efficient in what he does.

Bad points on the day, the lock on the door that we requested (ultion) wasn’t what we received and our chrome letterbox was scratched.
I contacted Chris the installations manager, he done all he can to sort our problem, an engineer returned the following week, unfortunately the lock wasn’t correct again and the replacement letterbox was damaged again.
This was frustrating to say the least but Chris contacted me straight away and offered to resolve the problem as soon as he could get new parts from the suppliers.
Fast forward to the 8th of March 23 our problem was finally resolved, Lawrence the engineer come and installed our new lock and letterbox.

The communication from smiths while this was ongoing was good and Chris informed me that the long wait for parts was supplier issues and no fault of their own.

Overall I can’t complain on the service we have received.
One thing to remember is that all the negative reviews have two sides to their story.
Thanks again to all at smiths for a seamless install even though it took a long time.

No Fensa certificate has been issued, I was promised it would be sent after the final balance was settled, all I get is I’ll pass that on to our accountant when I enquire.
So if this does get read, please get in contact.

Mick and Carl were very professional installers. Smiths were easy to deal, and Steve surveyed very well beforehand. All in all a good experience and i am very happy with the result

Was given all the necessary information before arranging to have the job done.. I thought was so good I easily decided to get my front and back doors replaced.. The jobs were carried out very profesionally and fitted and finished to a high standard and I will have no problem recommending them in the future..

Everything went like clockwork. All explained in detail during initial quotation. Once ordered, product was installed promptly and efficiently. Fitters were friendly and hard working. The end result has transformed our house. 100 per cent recommend!

This was the second door I had fitted. I was just as pleased with the back door as I was with the front.
Staff were helpful and gave good advice. The door was fitted by the same man who fitted the first one.
He was punctual and left everywhere clean and tidy.

Had a good experience with this company. One of the window pains cracked a week later, phoned the company and had it replaced a week later. Scott the window fitter was excellent he got on with his job and we would recommend the company to other people

Job was well coordinated, things were done according to timescale, no fuss and no mess.

Once again leaving a review for this diabolical company - despite being informed & requesting for my details to be removed from their call list I am still routinely still getting phone calls from them - last one was this week - 1 year after I left the previous review. I will never give them the opportunity to quote again as they simply cannot be trusted and will waste your time if you try. My last review has just been flagged as for the wrong company - it is not - it is definitely you who simply will not leave me alone Would love the CEO to get in touch to explain their selling practices.

Everyone from sales to fitting has been really friendly , knowledgeable and efficient . No issues whatsoever and we love our new front door!

Fast efficient and solving problems such as cutting the letter box out whilst fitting as it been forgotten in the factory.

Excellent job, done at top quality, for a fair price, by a company who takes pride in there work. Would recommend them to anyone and will be using them again in the future for a conservatory replacement
