This station has gone from the best to one of the worst. The music is still great but you cannot hear much of it due to certain individuals. Adil Ray states his name all the time which is so arrogant... See more

A big turn off
A big turn off. I decided to give the station another try, but to be brainwashed every morning before work is not my cup of tea. Jenny has gone all preachy and the adverts are mainly politically motivated. The repeats of the tunage is bloody ridiculous. The same ole, the same ole. I honestly thought in the new year the songs would be new and fresh. Boring. The adverts go on and on and on. They had a really creepy advert on there around Christmas time which theme was following women. Ughhhh. I’m going to find new pastures.
Shocking amount of adverts

More adverts than music….will not listen anymore
Usually enjoy this station but just…
Usually enjoy this station but just listened to a birthday congrats along the lines of "she's the office cleaner but her colleagues love her" Did I miss hear this? "Am I being oversensitive?" In an age of political correctness it doesn't seem right that its acceptable to thoughtlessly make remarks that rank people on what might be seen ( incorrectly in my view ) by some sections of society as a lowly job.
Boring
Boring, playlist just repeated. Way too many ads and presenters rambling blah, blah blah. The worst session is 06:00 -10:00. Rambling for the sake of rambling telling us about trivia that 99% of the population would live without knowing and don't care about. Maybe she should go back to being a TV presenter.
The same tracks over and over
The same tracks over and over. We all know the best Whitney, they have never heard of it or the Big O. Sick of Elton John and George Michael. There must be a better station with a more varied playlist.
Dont see Their top 10 Celine dion…
Dont see Their top 10 Celine dion songs. Worst list ever. I Think they are stupid
BORING
Someone find out where they are based and take some new CDs around. PLEASE!!
Time to retune
Didn't Smooth used to be known as Saga, or Gaga as some dubbed it? The latter suits now with songs repeated ad nauseum for people with the memory span of a goldfish. Constant repetition has made me aware of lyrics that are utter gibberish such as in 'Arthur's Theme' and Toto's 'Africa'. I am weary of hearing the late Andy Williams "thank god I'm alive". Sorry Andy, you recorded 43 albums and Smooth plays just one track, more ironic than iconic.
This station encourages anti-social…
This station encourages anti-social behavior by presenters telling listeners on a sunny day to go into their gardens and "turn up Smooth". What if the neighbours don't want to hear Smooth being blasted out to them? Highly irresponsible and unprofessional. Presenters also invite listeners to call in and tell us all what they are doing. How boring is that? Give it a miss!
Entertainment
I love Smooth's selection of music and though interspaced with adverts, your station lives up to its name.
Boring, boring, boring
Boring, boring, boring.... zzzzzzzzzz.
Very limited playlist, so sick of hearing the same songs all day every day. Get with it guys or give up!
Listen, rinse repeat to infinity!
Good music style but unbelievable repetition! I get the impression the total annual playlist can’t be much more than 100 actual tunes. Then the perpetual drivel adverts. Impossible to listen to for any reasonable length of time.
Completely crap station.
Great, if you want to slip into a coma!
If you like Whitney Houston & Lionel Richie this is the station for you! Playlist unbelievably limited & repeated on a daily basis. Why, when there are so many other good artists around?
Full of annoying commercials and repetitive music
Full of annoying commercials every 5 minutes and the music is very repetitive. They seem to have a playlist of 20 songs and it gets played constantly on repeat.
Every time i switch on the radio i hear exactly the same songs.
Guys, there are thousands of good quality songs, add some new ones to the playlist!
Good years ago, utter rubbish now
Years ago when Smooth Radio started it was a brilliant station, one that I genuinely enjoyed listening to in that it had a varied playlist featuring a whole host of popular artists and tracks and also very good presenters - the best in my opinion being Mark Goodier. But now it is absolutely dire with a repetitive playlist that seems to feature a limited number of songs and artists that get played over and over again every day and in a different order. The interaction between presenter and listener also appears to have gone and whoever we are listening to seems to be as bored as we are hearing the same songs played every day from its limited music library. In short, a typical example of a station that has gone from good to abysmal. Should now be named either ‘Snooze’ or ‘Repeat’ Radio instead.
BeeGee Fever
I can't believe that after 40 years we are still
listening to the Saturday Night Fever album songs every day, on the hour, every hour. I used to be a fan of them but now if I never heard them again it would be too soon. Please change the play list.
