I ordered a canvas print of a painting at Guildford. It was a simple job. A perfect square and only two tone in colour - black background, beige painting. I asked for a 30cm by 30 cm canvas print.
I have received a 60cm by 60cm print, and the base hasn't got the print on it, it's the grey base. There's an uneven line so it wasn't printed in one take. The image isn't centred and over stretched. There's unsightly bleed on the edges. I said when I had to self place the order on a machine that couldn't even move the mouse to align the print that I DID NOT WANT these issues as it was a gift for a friend. It is lucky I wasn't selling this, as I couldn't, the quality is so poor. I think if you are going to charge £80 pounds for this service, one busy shop assistant who gets you to self-serve is a bit poor. I am writing to customer service for a full refund, and I still need my print!

I have been going to snappy snaps in Hammersmith for years. The staff are fantastic and the service is great! I would recommend them to anyone.

Visited the Romford branch earlier today to have some 35mm transparencies scanned. Delighted to be dealt with the friendly, helpful, professional and knowledgeable staff. I would be grateful if you could pass on this feedback to the store.

In May, I placed an order for a Father's Day gift from Snappy Snaps' branch in Richmond-upon-Thames. It never arrived. I sent an email to the branch expressing my dissatisfaction, and requesting a full refund.
The following day, I received a reply from the branch manager. He offered me an unconditional apology, along with a brief explanation of what had gone wrong with my order. He immediately issued a full refund for the product and the delivery charge.
But he also went further.
Assuring me that he really "wanted to make this right", he additionally offered to remake the customised product that I had ordered (worth £26), free of charge; AND he offered to personally hand-deliver the item to my home the following day.
The product was of excellent quality, and my father was absolutely delighted with it. And despite the earlier problems with the order, I too was delighted by the outcome.
This is precisely how companies *should* react when they make a mistake. Snappy Snaps accepted responsibility, and did everything they could to make it right, turning a poor customer experience into a shining example of excellent customer service.
They could easily have lost a customer, who would have shared his story of disappointment with countless others. Instead, they now have a very happy and very grateful customer who enthusiastically recommends Snappy Snaps in Richmond to everyone he knows.

I've used his company twice and both times they've been utterly useless. Was never contacted about my photos, I'm presuming they even still have them? They're happy to take your money and then completely forget about actually delivering on their promises.

I booked a 'professional' headshot at the Uxbridge branch for £70 after being informed by the branch that the photos would be taken by a professional photographer at the studio above the shop. The 'studio' was sub-par compared to an actual photography studio, and the photographer appeared to be using the same camera used for passport photos! She did not advise me on facial angles which is what a professional headshot photographer is supposed to do, and she did not optimise the lighting. There was nothing professional about the experience. I ended up with a photo which I could have done myself using my iPhone and ring light! Owing to my disappointment, I sought an actual professional photographer who I should have hired in the first place and saved the £70 I wasted at Snappy Snaps.

I called at their Swiss Cottage branch, London NW3, and asked for help in uploading a document on my mobile. It couldn't have been done on a PC. The staff member (manager?) who helped me was very obliging and patient. I hadn't worked out how to perform the operation but, from the way he did it, I realised it was child's play. Two other staff members were also helpful. Many thanks to all.

I went to the Snappy Snaps in St Albans. Ravi helped me select my photo from my mobile, choose a photo frame and then put in the frame for me. He was exceptionally polite, friendly, professional and delivered a wonderful service. It has been a long time since I have seen sales staff be so attentive and helpful. Well done Ravi and the St Albans team. I would recommend and definitely return.

Awful website and contradictory information across the franchisees. (Crouch End and Mansion House) - 3 stars is the absolute max, I’d say 2.5 max

I use snappy snaps in Southside Wandsworth? I always ask for Anne-Marie because she has helped me with things before and always does a fantastic job with a smile on her face. I recently got back from the USA where I went to a gunrange. I went to see Anne-Marie at snappy snaps And she created a lovely memory of my trip to the gun range. My range target was framed together with the ammunition box and some photographs of me at the range & the receipt from the day which includes the names of the handguns that I fired. Anne-Marie really knows her stuff makes great recommendations, and is very helpful if you need a bit more than just basic help go and see Anne-Marie

Officially boycotting Snappy Snaps!
They have unethical marketing tactics. We were told we won a competition at the Crouch End branch (that we did enter in-store, a monthly draw) and will get a free photography session plus a £70 to spend on prints - great right? Well no, because once you've wasted yours and your family's time doing the photo session, you have to book another 'viewing session' in which you're all told that the minimum starting price for prints is £350 FOR ONE FRAMED PHOTO. After looking through Anna's absurd price list which resulted in us not being able to afford any prints, we were told we wouldn't even have access to the digital copies, Snappy Snaps hold the copyright!! So what have we 'won' exactly?? Nothing. You're forced into a corner to either walk away empty handed and time wasted, or spend extortionate amounts to get hold of the photos. We're talking about hundreds of pounds, maybe even thousands if you happen to like more than a dozen photos for print. I also found out that in the same month that we 'won' the monthly draw, our friend received a phone call too saying she'd won. So as it turns out there is no competition, just a way to get your details, call everyone and trick them into booking a photo session. To put this into context all other photography studios I know charge way less and give you access to ALL digital copies as a standard. No one has the right to claim copyright over your image. We left feeling pretty horrible about the whole experience. So I hope loosing a family of what used to be regular clients for the sake of making a quick buck in the short term, not to mention everyone we will tell about this experience is worth it.
***UPDATE
After Snappy snaps reply, I emailed them - 3 weeks later and they haven’t responded, that says it all.

I placed several orders online and at the St. John's Wood branch and I cannot praise all who work there enough! I ordered a variety of photos of all types and sizes and they came out beautifully.
The service was fast, efficient and friendly, even going that extra mile for me.
Outstanding shopping experience. Thank you so much!

Was in a hurry to visit Windsor Castle and the shop close to Windsor castle charged me £6 for 2 pages of printout. Yes £3 for a page to print. Avoid this shop if you see this name snappy snapps.

This place has irreversibly damaged an artwork that would've been listed at 1200. They omitted that they clearly don't usually work with original artworks. The oil paint is cracked in many places. After this train wreck they already had another piece in for scanning, all I asked is that they don't damage it, or I get a refund. But they insisted on going through with the scan and now there's a hole in it. Artists definitely avoid this place.

I visited the Snappysnaps store in Kilburn today and received wonderful service by Maruin. He printed out a locket sized photo for a gift for my father and even inserted it into the locket. Nothing was too much trouble for him.
He is a real asset to the company.

I was served by a woman in the Norwich branch who was incredibly rude. One of the worst customer experiences I’ve had.
