I have just returned from the Shallow Water Free Diving workshop on Turneffe Island Resort. In one week, I've gone from a snorkeler who stayed on the surface to having the skill and confidence to duck dive safely and in correct form. Emma and Asha tirelessly led our group through an unforgettable week of learning and practicing, with immense care, safety, and confidence building, all while creating a fun and nurturing environment. I cannot speak highly enough of Emma, of her passion, skill, energy, patience, organization, and beautiful personality. Asha assisted with great kindness and care, and always with a huge smile and beaming personality. Alex was also on the trip, adding his incredible photographic skills and fun self. I made new friends, learned a new skill, and had so much fun. Turneffe is a beautiful resort! The staff is so outstanding, from the skilled snorkel guides and boat captains (I always felt safe!) to Fidel, the fun bartender, to the incredibly accommodating dining room staff. You will feel very welcomed there. Lastly, I send a major shout out to Crystal, the trip organizer. She could teach a master class on outstanding communication and timely follow up! No question was too small for her. I loved the entire trip and recommend it highly!!!

I've taken 2 international trips with Snorkel Venture and they are an excellent company. Tours are well-organized and are exactly as described in the brochure. They handle all of the details and make it very easy to understand the specifics of the tour. I have enjoyed my trips so much that I have booked several more with them.

This was a trip of a lifetime for me and I never would have been able to do this without Snorkel Venture. Quick connections were expertly navigated by our guide, Marcus and his knowledge of the area helped to heighten our experience when last minute changes were needed. His sense of humor helped keep the spirits high and diffuse any conflicts between guests. The 4 star is only because there is always room for improvement and some of the food left a bit more to be desired. Overall a wonderful trip! Just show up and have a good time! No planning required and every day a new adventure!

Tour leader maestro Dalton and his sleight of hand was magnificent as he smoothed our trip for us, whether managing western expectations, switching languages and cultures, handling small airport check-ins, edging into crannies to get the perfect macro shot, entertaining us punters with card tricks, flicking back one-liners and maintaining an endlessly patient and cheerful face. No mean feat. Everything combined - all creatures great and small below and above water, the delicious food and friendliness of the staff at Papua Explorers - to create a truly wonderful and memorable holiday for me. Thank you all.

We just finished our first Snorkel Venture trip. Dalton was an amazing guide to Triton Bay and Raja Ampat. He navigates his way around both areas with seemingly no effort. Everything that was promised was delivered. We had a great time getting to know our fellow snorkelers, and look forward to seeing them again soon in another trip.

One of the best experiences of my life. The snorkeling locations we went to were absolutely incredible and the service they provide is unbeatable. I admit to being a snorkeling addict. There is nowhere I am more at peace than being in a magnificent ocean environment. I have traveled to six different countries on Snorkel Venture trips and the experiences have all been exceptional. Their Tour Guides each bring a unique wealth of knowledge from world travels and spending so much of their careers underwater. The willingness of the Guides to share insights about creatures, equipment, other snorkeling areas or photography skills is always appreciated. And honestly, the Guides are as excited as the guests every time we enter the water. It's different every single time! The office crew of Snorkel Venture team does a top notch job with all the arrangements needed to provide a unique and unforgettable adventure. No details are left to chance and I am thoroughly pleased to have someone else sweat the small stuff should a glitch arise (like a plane is delayed) . I have found it is a service well worth paying for. Traveling solo can be a bit nerve wracking in third world countries and I can honestly say I have felt 100% safe whether in or out of the water with Snorkel Venture. I have two trips with Snorkel Venture in 2026 and every adventure just leaves me signing on for more.

Had an amazing trip to Triton Bay and Raja Ampat including a whale shark encounter that I will remember and treasure for ever. Everything was well organised and, as a solo traveller, I felt well looked after. Our guide Marcus was looking out for us at all times and worked so hard to make sure we were happy.

Snorkel Venture made our dreams come true - snorkelling with whale shark (dolphins too 👀) & manta rays. From booking to travel & accommodation Snorkel Venture made it easy for us. Our British tour leader was a brilliant photographer & expert on marine life.

All aspects of the trip were smooth and easy. The guides made the travel easy. The trip was well planned.

Everything was so wonderful and well organized. Usually I go on snorkeling trips with 12-16 participants so was a bit surprised/nervous when I realized the size of the group. But, due to the organization and well run nature of the resort, that didn't detract from my experience. A special shout out to our snorkel guides: Novfrits and Noldy and kitchen staff: JuJu, Alicia, Michael and Ali. I was at the resort in February 2020 and it was great to see some folks I knew: Noldy, JuJu and Ali. They are great. The best reefs in the world imho.

Thanks to the efforts of the dynamic duo of Dalton and Marcus as well as the team at Snorkel Venture, the trip to Misool was ideal in every way! Everything from meeting the group in Sorong (I spent 4 days at Papua Explorers prior to joining the tour), transfers to the resort, back to Sorong and to the airport was seamless. The snorkel sites were incredible--I could do this again!

Marcus and Dalton were superb tour coordinators during our Misool adventure. Overall every thing went like clockwork, the resort was top notch from accommodations, to food to the actual snorkeling as were the staff. Honestly I have nothing but praise for both Snorkle Venture and Misool resort. Prior to the trip, the process was flawless and responsive.

The tour to Misool was fabulous! The house reef was beautiful and the boat snorkeling was outstanding. Lots of mantas on this trip and octopus too and so many species of nudibranches! Our guides, Marcus and Dalton were so helpful and fun. They made sure every step of the trip ran smoothly. Thank you Marcus for the incredible pictures of us and a special thank you to Dalton for the tips on using my camera better. I really leveled up on my photography skills!

We just finished the Misool resort snorkel trip for 9 days! What a beautiful resort and great staff. The food, the rooms etc all A-plus. The trip was made extra special by the two snorkel adventure guides Marcus and Dalton who brought their incredibly diverse skills. Marcus with his amazing UW photography and non-stop humor, kindness and energy and Dalton who taught me so many lessons in photography and UW life and island life and who brought the magic to the trip. The two together make the best team any group could ask for. I highly recommend this company and these guides. This region for snorkeling is the best for aquatic diversity and color and the resort was like I already said - really nice and the staff also were knowledgeable. I haven’t seen so many sharks and corals and fish and strong healthy reefs in a very long time.

I did the Snorkel Liveaboard trip through the Forgotten Islands and Misool in Indonesia in November 2025. It was a trip of a lifetime for me. We were the only boat and definitely the only snorkelers at many times on this trip which it made it even more special. There's nothing like feeling like you're one of a select few people who get to experience this pristine environment. Snorkel Venture, Alex, and the Amira Liveaboard guides did an amazing job finding snorkel sites and pointing out all the hidden and unique critters and fish that I would have never seen otherwise!

First time tour with SnorkelVenture
to the Misool Eco Resort in October 2025. Extremely satisfied and impressed with the overall experience. Kelly and Bernita kindly handled the front end office administration details leading up to the trip. Promptly answered all questions and provided regular trip updates prior to departure.

Our amazing tour guides were Marcus and Alex who went beyond expectations to ensure that all tour participants were well informed, safe and happy. Special kudos re their efforts to take and share individual and group photos of all participants, as well as compiling and sharing a wonderful tour photo/video summary presentation. Their camera and drone work is phenomenal!

The Misool resort team support both in Sorong and to/from the resort, as well as at the resort were very friendly, organized and helpful.

This was the most expensive snorkel trip that we’ve ever been on, but given the remoteness of the resort, and the stunningly beautiful and vibrant coral reef ecosystem, it was fair value for a truly memorable “peak” recreation experience!!
Raja Ampat remains a very special place on earth, and SnorkelVenture is a top tier tour provider!

This was a great snorkeling experience that exceeded my expectations. It was well organized from locations, lodging, guides, etc. Our tour guides Dalton and Crystal were knowledgeable, organized, interactive, and had a good sense of humor.

From beginning to end, we had the trip of a lifetime. Dalton and Crystal were a great team and everything ran smoothly. It is hard for us to imagine a better snorkelling experience.
