Sofa looks the part at the beginning…
Sofa looks the part at the beginning but after a while the cheap material starts to disintegrate and cause sagging material, I was offered compensation for the area affected and told it was a small issue to now see the whole sofa has now collapsed in materials and looks sagged, I was told this is because of using to much !! I use this sofa very little Abd it’s only 9 months old !! I dread to think how it would look at 2 years old , I was never given an apology & basically made to feel the issues are from over use . Looks a good sofa but the material don’t last & they use cheap piping causing it to disintegrate rapidly . Don’t buy your sofa from them unless you want a long stressful situation on your hands . Ohh yeah and the ottoman turned up broken and that was quickly sorted but still it’s been nothing but hell!! I was asking for it to get fixed but apparently this isn’t something they offer as it’s time consuming & very expensive. Yes they give me compensation but only because they made me have time off work to get the ottoman part fixed and for the small issue which is now covered half my sofa . 3 cm fault now turned into 90 cos I mark it & it’s getting worse each day, like I say nice to look at but won’t last long !!

Please understand that we cannot continue to offer further financial compensation for the same issue once a final agreement has been reached and accepted. Beautiful sofa
We changed our mind on the type of cushions we wanted and the company sorted the order with no questions. Delivery was when they said it would be and the guys unpacked and put it together . Once that was done we could really see what a beautiful piece of furniture we had purchased. We love it

Beautiful sofa
Beautiful sofa, a bit stiff to lift the chaise but hopefully that’ll free up a bit with more use. Delivery drivers were great, put it where I asked, unpacked it and built it together and tested it before leaving.

Amazing find!
This shop was a random find and I’m so glad I found them! I ordered the Tignes in rabbit and my kids are obsessed with the electric function (and so am I 😂)
Claire in the showroom dealt with my order, she was very helpful and gave first class service. Delivery was speedy and efficient and the boys made it look easy getting it through the door. Highly recommend this place!

I purchased a sofa from Sofas & Friends and had a very positive experience from start to finish. The staff were friendly, professional, and really helpful throughout the whole process.
Before delivery, I was a bit concerned because the entrance to my home is quite tight, so I sent them a video to check if the sofa would fit. They carefully reviewed it and advised that the back entrance should be used instead, and that I would just need to remove the fence before they arrived. This guidance was very helpful and made the delivery go smoothly without any issues.
The delivery itself was arranged very quickly, which I really appreciated. Overall, I’m extremely happy with both the service and my purchase, and I would definitely recommend.⭐️

Excellent service from start to finish. I was kept informed at every stage of the delivery process, which made everything feel smooth and reassuring.
When my chair arrived missing its feet, the issue was handled quickly and efficiently, with no hassle on my end—replacement legs were delivered the very next day.
The sofa is incredibly comfortable and stylish, with great quality for the price. I’m really pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend.

Questionable quality! Lacks confort
I have had the Tignes sofa for two weeks now and was hoping it would become more comfortable over time. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case.
The cushions have already started to sink, and I can feel the wooden frame through them, which makes it quite uncomfortable. I’m definitely not having the same experience that others seem to describe.
I was also disappointed that neither the store nor the sales team mentioned the extended warranty at any point during purchase or delivery. I only became aware of it after making an enquiry a week after installation, by which time I was told it was too late to add it.
So far, I’m disappointed with the overall quality of the sofa. The one I received does not feel like the same standard as the display model in store. I would urge others to be cautious before parting with a significant amount of money, as the quality received has not met expectations.

Extremely Disappointed with the Product and Customer Service
We purchased a bormeo sofa in June 2025 and within just 2 months, the material had come away from the seam. We reported the issue promptly, as this is completely unacceptable for a new piece of furniture, especially when the sofa was barely used. From when we first made contact with Sofa and Friends, it took several weeks and multiple follow up messages / emails on our part before an 'independent' inspection was arranged for the 29th September. This was carried out by a company named Castelan, that also don't have very good reviews. However, I wasn't too concerned about this immediately after the inspection, due to the comments made at the time of the visit. We were notified by Castelan, that they had sent over the report to Sofa & Friends on the day of inspection. Again after multiple chasing we received the report on the 20th October, and to our surprise, the inspectors comments during the inspection did not match what was issued in the report, which contradicted what was actually said in person. Despite clear evidence that the sofa was not holding up as it should and bearing in mind this sofa is barely used, Sofa and Friends are unwilling to take responsibility for it being a manufacturing fault or provide a satisfactory resolution. The earlier photo's clearly show that it is not 'possible accidental damage' and the comments by the inspector contradicted this outcome. (It would be useful if I could actually upload all of the photographs) The customer service and experience has been disappointing and we're in the process of escalating this issue further. I would strongly caution others to think twice before purchasing from this company.

While we understand there may be a misunderstanding regarding verbal comments made during the visit, we must rely on the formal documentation provided by the expert. Despite the report finding no fault on our part, we issued a goodwill payment to you as a gesture of support.
This compensation was accepted as a final resolution over six months ago. It is disappointing to receive a one-star review and these allegations so long after the case was settled and closed to your satisfaction at the time.
