Solar Panel Enquiry
Promt reply by Installers after my e-mail to Solar Guide. Execllent
No calls
In 10 days I've had NOT one call from the x3 local suppliers....are they all too busy ? Obviously everyone in this business has far too much work on.
30 Jan 2015
Solar Guide's response was fast and effectitive, and within the half day of my enquiry, your preferred contact, British Gas had called us and established a guide price quotation, for which we are grateful. HOWEVER, two further suppliers were detailed, and there has been absolutely no response from them......very disappointing. I was intending to rate them very poor, but the tracking e-mail no longer shows their names. so I cannot respond appropriately..
Great Service
Very easy process, professional company to deal with, looking forward to getting quotes now.
good when you speak to them!
I had a response the next day by email however on six separate occasions during the day when I called from both landlines and mobiles I was cut off immediately after the automated message, regardless of which option I chose (or did not choose). Very good service though when I sent emails explaining the problem and they kept phoning to reach me.
Very Good Service
a very easy to use website
I was contacted very quickly by an employee who checked the details that I had given and asked a few questions of her own
she said that my details would be sent to 3 accredited companies for them to contact me with a view to them giving me a quote for solar panels
VERY FAST
I received a phone call within an hour of leaving my request which was very impressive and I was able to give more details of my property so I hope this will get me in touch with a company that will be able to help, many thanks.
Extremely useful site for solar panel experience
After deciding to investigate the possible installation of solar panels I looked on the internet for information on who and what was involved.
I came across this website by chance and entered a few basic details.
I was contacted shortly afterwards by phone and told my details would be forwarded to three local installers who would submit no obligation quotes for my perusal. I also inquired at two other national companies via the internet, who viewed my property through Google Earth, and then sent me standard quotes via e-mail. The first company to contact me through Solar Guide (Synergy Power based in Coventry) arranged a personal home visit with their advisor /surveyor. After an hour of no pressure advice, I had received a comprehensive explanation of what was involved and the benefits of having solar panels fitted. There doesn't seem to be a downside to this technology - everybody should have it done. The surveyor went outside, to the back and the front of my house, to take several photos of the roof layout so that he could design a plan for the fitting of the panels. This I found more reassuring than a scheme drawn up using Google Earth. He also explained in detail the benefits of assorted upgrades to the inverter and other metering devices, which I accepted and agreed to. All in all a very satisfactory experience. Another plus factor is that the work will be done within five days of signing the contract - and I don't have to pay until I am completely satisfied with the final installation. I rang the second company who had contacted me to cancel their advisors visit,
I was completely happy with the quote from Synergy. I then received a follow up phone call from Solar Guide asking me if I was satisfied with their service, to which I gave an emphatic yes. The fact that Solar Guide vets all the companies in their database and weeds out the doubtfuls is a real plus factor when it comes to spending this kind of money. I feel that personal contact and having all my questions answered fully has made the decision to have solar panels installed a lot less stressful.
Prompt, polite service!
I was contacted within 24 hours of making an enquiry. The caller was courteous and helpful and explained the process clearly. Excellent service.
Straightforward and helpful
I used the service to find 3 quotes from national, regional and local PV Solar firms.
The service replied promptly and the firms asked to quote responded quickly.
I have found the process easy to use, fit for purpose and informative

The service was very efficient in providing several potential suppliers. We finally selected one of the three. There was no pressure to select from this shortlist and the door was open to request additional candidates if required. As it happens we found an very professional organisation through this route.
